I have found the staff to be most cooperative. The kitchen staff is to be commended for their service and quality of food. It's wonderful. Living here has been a real pleasure.

My mother is very happy at The Glades. She is active in several groups, such as the library and a knitting group. She is suddenly an avid bingo player and she enjoys the music at happy hour. The facility is beautiful and cheerful. The laundry service has lost two of her items, which is concerning.

Care here is amazing. I feel great comfort in knowing that mom is safe and secure here.

In my opinion this is a very clean facility. Very impressive Residents could be more friendly.

It's a wonderful place. My uncle is being very well taken care of. The staff is friendly. The neighborhood is amazing. It was super easy and accommodating. My uncle was very hesitant about signing up and they did a fabulous job convincing him and getting the paperwork set up for a quick move.

The Glades at ChampionsGate has been great. However, our loved one was re-evaluated and cost went up after a month. We have to supply all supplies as well, so we have ordered and shipped depends, toothpaste, etc which seems petty given the cost of housing.

After visiting other places in the Augusta and Rockingham County areas, The Phoenix at Harrisonburg was a clear choice. It is new, well-designed, well-decorated, full of natural light, just the right size and a good value compared to others. A few other facilities we really liked require a high six figure “asset pledge” which we cannot afford. At the Phoenix, the fees are monthly, based on individual needs and easy to understand. We also “did the math” and since the fees are all inclusive, it is half the cost of keeping a home or apartment and paying for in home caregivers and domestic help. We love the staff that interacts daily with Mom…they are patient, caring and well-trained. No facility is perfect, but we feel this is the best of its type in the area.

The service has been great. My husband likes the experience. The price for one half day seems high. I recommend this facility because the staff seems happy and my husband looks forward to his visit.

All a 5 especially since they've gotten a new chef. The residents need more fresh fruit and vegetables. Sometimes the entrée is difficult for them to carve themselves. They like soups and stews - not ever served. The new chef has helped tremendously. Fresh fruit - especially bananas and grapes. The staff make all the difference!!

Care and compassion by the staff is extremely good. I go virtually every day to feed my wife at noon. Almost without fail, one of the staff gives me an update on how she's doing since she got up. Those reports are hinest and factual. The staff nurse is also an extremely beneficial asset. Another very important and interesting fact, the home is very involved with the community, sponsoring numerous in house community functions during the holidays. The Colonial has very little staff turn-over!!

The staff is friendly and very involved with the residents. They are also very good at communicating with family about the resident.

I would recommend them to others. They have a chef, the food is great. The were very accommodating on the move in.

We picked this community because; 1)Nice place, friendly staff and felt like my mom is being well taken care of. 2) Convenient location, clean and modern.

The facility is easy to find, has a pleasing outward appearance. The lobby is bright with homey decor. The staff are friendly and helpful, showing a heart for the elderly. They are able to accommodate independent living to assisted living through memory care if needed.

My loved one was previously a resident at The Glades at ChampionsGate. We loved everything about the Glades! The apartments were very spacious and the entire place was very clean.

I have given recommendation to two friends. I picked this community because of the single rooms. The facility looked and felt like a home.

Great facility- the staff is very loving and caring. I could not have picked a better place for my loved one.

I would highly recommend. They bent over backwards working with us to get my dad back there after his horrible rehab experience at another facility. We picked this community because of the number of people (good op for socialization), staff friendliness, food quality, cleanliness.

Everyone is very friendly, I think the food sometimes gets a bit repetitive but it's not bad and I would like to see them rotate some new regular activities into the schedule. Overall very satisfied with the experience.

Very friendly and competent. Made my husband feel welcomed and cared for. My husband has dementia and actually doesn't remember being there but was always happy and had positive things to say when I called him but then would forget.
