Nice facility

Overall I think they do a good job at Brookdale Irving. The facility is clean and well kept, and for the most part they do a good job taking care of the residents. I do think that they could improve their communication process, it can be a little hit or miss trying to get in touch with the appropriate person, but they are working on that. One thing I do like is that Brookdale Irving takes the security of its residents very seriously. They have a very regimented sign in process for all visitors and vendors.

Liked sense of community, diversity. Nice outdoor area with water and bridge. Didn't like east-facing views from independent-living apartments.

The staff at Springbrooke Retirement and Assisted Living C said they would make moms transition easy and they didn't seem to follow through. She checked in on a Friday evening and it was made clear that a nurse would come welcome her and talk with her. But this never happened. They also took moms survey on what she enjoyed doing and they never followed up with that. I will say the staff is very pleasant and mom is happy with how hard working they are at this facility.

Overall we're pleased with how things are going at New Forest Estates. My loved one seems to enjoy herself here! It is a nice looking place, and the people are very friendly. However, I do wish they'd have more activities on-site at the independent living portion. Many of the activities take place across the street at the assisted living section, and my loved one doesn't like to make that walk too often.

So far we are very pleased with how things have gone with Bluebonnet Place! The facility is clean and well kept, and it is a secure locked facility, which was one of our requirements when searching. The staff here seems friendly, and they take good care of the residents.

Nice place. Carla Gutierrez really cares about her patients. When going over cost the $1,000 off for 5 months was never offered until I questioned them. The place is doing renovations and & I did like it because it was close to our home, but it was too much for my mothers budget.

They are doing a good job. Great people and a nice place. I haven't had any major concerns, at this point. We are pretty satisfied with them.

Compared to my father's current community, this would be a ten, it's a big improvement. It was very clean, the carpet has a fair amount of wear and tear, but will be replaced in the near future. They were extremely friendly. They offered great services based on the initial tour for cost breakdown. We visited during lunch and found the staff to be very attentive. They offer many activities for both physical and mental stimulation. It's a big possibility that we will be moving our loved one here based on our initial visit.

This is an overall good community. A good value for the price. The staff is great except for the executive director, [removed]. He is rude and condescending to people. I am impressed with Debra [removed] and Michael [removed]. They are excellent representatives of the community and great advocates for the residents. The food is not the greatest quality but is acceptable. The dining experience is well organized and they do have options for room service. They do have a variety in the menu. There is a pool on the property and a resident dog. The property is near shopping. They are remodeling at this time. There is plenty of parking available. They do have a van and have plenty of outings and trips to appointments within a 6 mile radius. Again a good community!

The staff was awesome. Knew all the the residents. The residents were on the older side might not be a a fit for my dad at this time.

Overall it has been a very good experience with Brookdale Irving. Very nice place and wonderful staff. My one complaint is that there is some sort of medicine that they have started giving her that they say she needs that seems to me to be very expensive. I am in the process of investigating this.

They were very nice, and did a very good job. They were friendly and attentive, and it was always clean. We were pleased with them. I wish we could have still been there, but my loved ones' condition has advanced.

It has been going very well so far. It's kept very clean and the staff is friendly, they really look out for their residents. We are very happy with them. I don't really have any concerns or complaints at this time.

Nice place & the staff seems very involved.Apartments are nice and there seems to be something for everyone.

Great balconies on units,a good place to sit and read. A solid facility in a familiar part of town. Nothing spectacular but a capable offering of services and facilities. Small waking area.

The staff are friendly and caring, the food is good and the place is pretty clean. It's not perfect, but they do a good job of caring for people with memory issues.

I’ve seen the food – my loved one is in memory care and I think the food is sometimes hard for other residents – to cut up. Roasted chicken and beef – these things can be a little tough because they don’t have knives. It would be good if the staff could foresee that food might be difficult.
