Overall experience has been positive. The staff is friendly and make it a point to remember your name. There are a variety of activities to play in and the food is good. The place is kept clean and offers light house cleaning for the apartment once a week. There are a variety of apartment sizes, mine is 775 sq. feet.

This is like having extended family that you see if you want to and wave at to let them know they are important to someone. I love to smile at everyone to help their day and it always helps mine.

People are friendly. The food is good. Lots of activities

The admin staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The residents are pleasant and the environment as a whole is like a community that comes together

The facility was very impressive, very clean and well kept, the courtyard was amazing. I got to visit with a few residents and they were very happy and content. I think my mother would enjoy being a resident.

If you need help with something, anything and they don't know the answer? They will help you find the answers to resolve any issues you need.

I thought Lucas Court was a wonderful and safe place for my Mom to live. The employees were all so nice and took the time to chat with everyone they came in contact with. The Nurses and Aides did a great job changing my Mom's diapers and keeping her clean. They dressed her for the day, changed her diaper frequently and then put on her nightgown for bedtime. I really liked the cafeteria and how everyone got to know each other in a social atmosphere. The food was delicious and it was nice that we could stay and join meals for a decent price. The garden area was beautiful and I know Mom enjoyed looking out her window to see all the blooming flowers. I thought it was wonderful that there was a Hairdresser that came every Tuesday! I wish my Mom would have lived longer to enjoy playing dominos and cards - she belonged to a bridge group and would have enjoyed meeting more people. I really liked the monthly activity schedule, but again Mom didn't live long enough to enjoy that.

I can’t thank Lucas court employees more…. I have been in the healthcare for over 18 years and this place is top notch. All employees are amazing and treated my Dad with so much love. The head nurse “[Name Removed]” is so caring and is on top of all residents. She cared for my dad in the best way, in the way I would care for my dad. It was hard being military and stationed so far away from my Dad, but I knew I picked the best assisted living place of all places. lol cas court kept in touch with me on ALL details. I want to thank ALL the staff and especially [name Removed]. She took off from her family to visit my dad and I in the hospital to make sure he was taken care of the proper way(in hospital) and stuck with us with couple more visits before my dad pasted away in April. Thank yall so much. Tara and grandkids.

My uncle was at Lucas Court for over a year. During that time he was treated with respect and compassionate care. Despite his sometimes grumpiness given his dementia, the staff had patience with him and always treated him well. The food was always good as were the activities. We were so happy we found Lucus Court and highly recommend it.

The staff are amazing! Very knowledgeable about ways to handle someone that is out there. They genuinely care about the residents.

Everyone is so nice and friendly even when u bring in ur own food in there and when u help out at the end of the month for the residence to buy stuff. And the staff loves to see new faces and the staff loves there residents that are there and the new ones that come in there too live.

All of the staff we have been in contact share the same care and concern for our loved one. The staff responds timely to any questions we have.

Really nice place. [name removed] was amazing! She is compassionate and caring. The love and joy of her work is unmatched. She made my mother-in-law feel comfortable and welcomed. My husband and I are impressed with the cleanliness and warmth of the facility.

The facility is warm and welcoming. We visited my aunt and uncle who live there. Their apartment was neat and comfortable. Their staff was friendly and helpful. I was impressed with their service and the welcoming environment. Great job!

The tour was amazing, [name removed] was very informative answered every single question we had and helped my mother feel more at ease about placing her brother. We are now on the waitlist and believe this is going to be the best place for us!

We have been very pleased with the staff the facility and the food/activities. My parents are doing well and have all the support they need. I would give this place 5 stars.

The management has changed from when Mom first moved in - not sure why. Other than that haven't really had any problems. The staff that takes care of my Mom (MC) have been great- no complaints at this time

I'd say it's a wonderful place. The staff is attentive to the residents. I would recommend the Broadmoor to others. I enjoy going there to be with my mom and watch her in the many activities they have.

They are a wonderful community of people. The staff will do everything they can for families, in a caring way. I would recommend to others. It's a great place and another asset is if you would like your loved one close by you for families in the mid county or Port Arthur surrounding area.

Senior have everything they need at the facility. I would recommend.
