Moved in one month ago. Apartment on third floor. Everyone very friendly. Family atmosphere. Many fun activities. Indoor heated pool. Meals eaten in dinning room or can get to go to take back to your room. Workers on staff lovable. Always ready to give a hug or to visit. Maintenance heavily burdened. Took a while to get TV up and running. Dish network at present but changing to infinity in November.

I looked at a few places before I decided on newforest haven for my aunt. I considered several things: 1. Was the facility clean and inviting? 2. Did the facility offer activities to the residents that would keep them engaged and active? 3. What did the residents already living there have to say? About staff… ? about the food..? 4. Were there enough staff to provide for the number of residents living there. Newforest haven checked all the boxes. So far my aunt has been happy… there is a transition period when a loved one moves into a new place… new routines to be established…getting used to being around new people and such but so far everything is working out for my aunt. The staff has been very accommodating and i think she will enjoy living at new forest haven very much!

Since the facility is a locked unit, I feel this is not the place for Husband and myself. The rooms were small, too close quarters for us. Tour was great, enjoyed meeting some staff and a couple of residents.

[name removed] has had some time to adjust to her new living arrangements. She lived alone and now has. She now has a new environment and has indicated she likes where she is. She is cared for by a skilled set of people and has activities that she can choose and meals served to her at each meal time. Overall all good.

The staff is fabulous. The facility is spotless. Tons of activities. She's in the medium 1 bdrm.

The staff is wonderful and very quick to respond with any maintenance issues whatsoever. Activities are fun and there seem to be a lot of them. Cleanliness overall is good. There is light cleaning in the apartment each week, but it is definitely light cleaning. apartment size is perfect for what was needed for my mom. Food is hit or miss on quality, but the service in the dining room is extremely slow not unusual to sit for an hour and a half to two hours before meal is served.

First contact with [name removed] was very positive. She actually sold me on the place before we met her. My brother is very happy there. He is making friends. Says the food is good. Property is kept clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All the residents are friendly & welcoming. Overall I give it a A+. I want to thank you for recommending them.

Mom has really enjoyed the meals, she said she's never had a bad meal there, and all the staff have been caring and helpful. She's very happy in her apartment and said it's just the right size for her. She does have one bad glass pane in her window but they already have it ordered and it should be replaced soon. They've responded well to her minor maintenance requests.

My father-in-law loves it there and the residents are very helpful and friendly as well! My father-in-law has a small one bedroom with a balcony. It has full size kitchen appliances and plenty of room for a sitting/visiting living area. Bedroom is ample for a full/queen bed with large walk-in shower and walk in closet. Plenty of room for a single resident. Also a large. Yes, we would recommend

Staff takes care of the residence seems to care for them. The food is average. They tend to keep the place very clean. I have a two bedroom apartment which is adequate for me.

I was looking for a retirement community for my sister. Could not be happier. [name removed] and [name removed] are the very best at what they do.

Room arrangements were. Fit for his needs! Never once noticed any lack of cleaning. His often commented that the food was good. He complained about medication rounds being too slow. But he was too dependent on his drugs to be patience. The smoking outdoor layout supported his need for cigarettes. Facility was attentive to his medical and psychological deficiencies.

My experience with The lodge has been wonderful since my mom moved there [date removed]! I can't say enough about the staff. They are so friendly. They are so patient with the residence and they all just love my mom miss [name removed]. Her nickname is FANCY [name removed] and that's what they call her which is so cute. My mother used to be so involved in the community in her church. She all painted she scrapbook. She's sewed. She did arts and crafts. The cleanliness of the facility has been impeccable from what I've seen the last month. They do so many activities with the residence to keep them occupied. Their brain stimulated and [name removed] is the best events coordinator that I've known even outside of a facility [name removed] the director that helped us get into The lodge has been wonderful patient knowledgeable, and has answered my questions. [name removed] on the spot and helped me deal with transitioning my mom to a memory care facility my mom loves the food. It always looks so good smells so good and they make sure their residence have three balance meals a day and they have snacks that they can have throughout the day.

The tour was great. The Lodge was a nice, clean facility & people were awesome. Taking my Mom there this afternoon to look around.

The staff, from Sales, General Manager, events coordinator have been terrific. We looked at several facilities around Tulsa and when we took our mom to Cedars, she said she felt it was home. Others were nice but she didn't get the same feeling.

Room size small staff is wonderful love them activities are great for all ages it's an old place but clean 1 bed and 2 bed & studio. I love it here I would recommend Emmerson 100%. Everyone is kind , helpful, considerate. Something for everyone. Just remember you can't please everyone but staff listens and tries.

It was a nice place. The residents all seemed happy. Some were sitting outside on patio visiting with each other and some were in the living room area watching TV. It is a small facility which is able to give residents more one on one time. The chef was unable to be at work so they ordered fried chicken from a local restraunt for lunch and the next cook came in for dinner shift. None of the residents seemed to mind the change. Staff was nice very easy to talk to and genuinely cares for the patients. If we can get our patient to move to BCS this is definetly a main contender.

It has been purchased by a very aggressive new company. While some of the units need to be upgraded they are clean the staff is amazing. They are working hard at making this an amazing site for independent living with some units reserved for assisted care. We were very impressed.

I have toured the atrium‘s looking for a place for my mother three times. Everyone has been more than wonderful and welcoming. We have made the decision that she will be moving in on [date removed].

We spoke with [name removed] for nearly an hour. She was so kind and patient with us as this move for my mother happened suddenly. The facility is very clean and the residents appear happy. I am grateful that mom will be making Strake her new home.
