I like it here at The Meadows at Escalante. I only wish the food was better! We are also getting a lot of new people. We have a lot of opportunities for social interaction, 6 days a week and just recently more activities even on Sundays.!

What our family likes the most about the Chisolm Court community is the friendly and caring employees they have working there. It is a smaller facility with a nice courtyard for residents and visitors to relax outside safely.

I am pleased with how well my brother has thrived since he moved there July 2022. He is more outgoing and healthier. He really likes the maintenance man, housekeeper and previous activity director. He doesn’t participate in activities but she always encouraged him. The food has improved. But still needs more veggies and less carbs. It is difficult as a diabetic to maintain blood sugar.

I’d recommend Bluebonnet for individuals who don’t need an extensive amount of help. You can’t ask for more caring staff, but if you’re at the point where your loved one isn’t able to make safe decisions any longer maybe assisted living is not be the solution. People who fall a lot or attempt to shower or dress when they’re not supposed to do so without help are examples of what I mean. If you do decide to go the assisted living route after researching your options you will like Bluebonnet Place.

Our family had an in person tour experience with The Atrium at Overland Park and overall it was a good tour experience but they did not have a memory care unit which our loved one needed.

Starting with the staff which is awesome, loving and caring for there community. That is the main reason we chose this place they are on top of it and with a smile on there face. Our family. An rest easy knowing where our Dad is and the care he is receiving they are so encouraging. Now on the other hand I think the food department could be upgraded a bit to fit there appetites. Other than that we are well pleased with Lucas Court….

My very first encounter with [name removed] at Bradfield Terrace, the first thing she asked me was 'how is your mom and how can we help her?' When I visited other facilities, the first question they asked me is ' how many other places have you toured?' My mother is not a product to be sold or bought and that is one of the reasons I went with Bradfield Terrace. They genuinely care. The staff is wonderful. Housekeeping is done regularly. Communication with the family is good, they also have a newsletter. Overall, the food is good. Weekends tend to be sparse for meals. The facility has a low number of residents, which I personally love. Everybody knows my mother on a personal basis. I love Bradfield Terrace. I would recommend them to other families.

Bluebonnet Court is a nice facility. It stays clean, food is tasty, staff is very caring, management is also caring and does a great job keeping things working well. It's not a new facility, but well maintained and pleasant.

I have lived here for almost a year and most of the residents are kind and friendly. The employees are helpful and polite and as a whole the food is good and healthy.

I enjoy living here. This has been home for several years. This is my family.

Overall, great place for your loved ones! Unfortunately, I do not live in C.S., but my Dad does. I'm comfortable leaving to return to my own home for a bit. There are great caregivers, meals, lovely place, etc. You do need to provide own furniture, etc. It's also great for me cuz they do the laundry and clean the room. They have a hairstylist on one day too! [Name removed] plans activities for the guests! But she does EVERYTHING! She is always willing to help out! She has been such an angel from the 1st moment we met her! At first, my Dad would not participate in the activities, but with her encouragement and care; he is now taking part in almost everything! This is important cuz it gets him out of his room and around other great guests! Naturally, any place you decide on will not be absolutely perfect, but we just have to accept that and pray that we are making the right choice for our precious loved ones! Best of luck!

Staff is friendly and caring.

I would live at Royal Estates when I'm older. It is a very nice place to live. The apartments are comfortable and homey. Mom lives in an efficiency and it is larger than expected. Very nice.

Mackenzie place is one of the most expensive assisted living homes, but it is clean and friendly. The only complaints we had came down to understaffing. They took forever to answer the phone and door when we came to visit or called. Nurses did not always do what they promised as far as care, which was disappointing. My loved one complained about the food, but that is one of those things she complained about no matter where she was so not sure if it was really bad or not. It was not always warm and not a lot of variety. There were a lot of activities. Overall, it's a nice place.

We toured this facility and it seemed like a very nice place. The activity program did seem to offer a bit less than some of the others that we toured. But we liked the facility and it seemed like a viable option for our loved one.

Our loved one overall is really happy there, but the meals and dining could be improved. In the beginning the meals were great, but given that our loved one is diabetic we do think they could offer more dietary restricted options.

I've been very happy with Legacy Ranch. We've had a good experience. The people are extremely friendly. And they're taking very good care of my dad.

I think Bradfield Place is one of the best if not the best in the area - and I looked everywhere - except when it comes to visitation. You have to knock on the door and wait for somebody to come and let you in. They won't give you the code, so sometimes you have to stand out in the rain or cold until someone can let you in. That is something that needs to be addressed immediately. But the staff is great. They're very friendly and very cooperative. And I think they're truly concerned about their residents.

The staff is still following up with the family and is very sweet. It is a good community, it just didn't feel like the right fit for our loved one.
