Chisholm Place is a very nice place. It is kind of small. I believe they have 36 people total. It is a single floor and easy to get around. The staff there is wonderful - very friendly and helpful.

I think they do a wonderful job overall at Springbrooke Retirement. The facility itself is clean, well lit, and has a comfortable homey feel. The staff is friendly and communicative and does an excellent job looking after the residents! The activities directors in particular have really done a wonderful job engaging my loved one and getting her to participate in the activities. They also do an excellent job with the food, it is really good! It is a fairly large community, but it feels small, everyone knows everyone else by name. It's just a very nice place overall, and I highly recommend them!

Everything was great while my loved one was here. They took good care. I didn't have any major complaints. I would rate them very highly. It was clean and the staff was friendly. I would recommend them to others.

The executive team is very accommodating. They make sure that everyone's needs are met and they go above and beyond to meet everyone's expectations and more. We really like it here and recommend it to others to visit. In terms of activities, I'd give the Colonial Oaks at Pearland in Pearland, Texas five stars/

So far things are going pretty good. The food is pretty good so far. They have plenty of entertainment and activities. They have a bus that will take us out to the grocery stores, but I don't see if they have transportation to appointments or not, but that would be nice. I don't have any complaints so far.

We've had a very positive experience with Brookdale Irving! My loved one really seems to be settling in well and enjoying himself here, he has made a few friends already! The staff has been very helpful throughout the whole experience, and they've delivered on everything they promised during the touring process. I would recommend them to others looking into this sort of care in the area!

So far it's going pretty good. It's clean, but they have a lot of construction going on right now. The staff is very pleasant and very helpful. They have certain windows of time for meals, by the end of that window, the food will be a little cold. There is always something to do. I am really happy with it.

Right now I would say the only thing missing is more people who like to play a nice relaxing game and not too competitive. Otherwise it is about perfect for me. The apartment are a little on the small side but this is a positive for me as I have mobility issues and I can grab something if needed. The apartments have wonderfully high ceilings that make them look bigger and provide opportunity for creative decorating. The bathroom is a good size and has a nice walk-in shower. The facility is less than 15 yrs old and has nice gathering places such as the media center where you can watch a movie on the big screen TV with surround sound, play games, read a book or sit on the balcony to watch the sun set, They are truely pet friendly and have a nice fenced area for play. The laundry facilities are adequate but busy. I moved here from another retirement community and get more amenities for less money- 3 meals/day instead of the 2 at the old place (except Sat/Sun), daily trash pick up at my door, wkly housekeeping/linen service, fresh vegetables cooked just right and a full breakfast every morning if you want it and no dehydrated, reconstituted powdered eggs! I could go on but I'm running out of room. I'm getting so much more and better quality than the old place and at $400 less a month. The apartment may be smaller and the game players fewer in numbers but the move was definitely worth the effort. I didn't mention the incentives. I was lucky enough to catch a special that helped with moving expenses. Come check it out. I think you will be pleased too, They arent perfect but they are darn close,

If they don’t go up in price – it’s very reasonably priced. They have a good staff. It’s very clean, and priced right. The food is very good. I think everyone’s been real pleasant to deal with and helpful. There’s nothing to argue about. There is plenty of parking.

I was directed to Emeritus by A Place for Mom when I was searching for a place for an elder friend who had no family. Everyone was very helpful, understanding and patient - taking the time to listen to all my concerns about my friend. Within a week we had secured a suite for him at Emeritus. He seems to have adjusted well. I know he is eating better now. It was important to him to remain in the Irving area and he appears to be very happy in his new home. Emeritus has made his transition so easy and affordable.

We liked the Atriums very much except that it's independent living. The second floor is assisted living but mom had bypassed that - they weren't able to care for her at the level she needed. But we liked them very much.

The tour went well but I could not think of everything that I would be interested in as I was shown so much in such a short time.

This is the 4th facility I have toured. It seems to be the best so far. Concerns are limited times of hours for breakfast, no access to outdoors, unfriendly greeter at front desk, limited parking. Many pros, tho, and I'm still interested. New management appears to be on the right track.

[name removed] is a great guy, for the price the building was not very new, but small, and out of our money range.

Staff is friendly, all the rest are fine. It would be great if they were able to take field trips. We were told that they did them but recently when inquired about them they said no due to having only a small van.

We chose this facility, which is an older facility that’s being upgraded by the new owners basically because of the people this is such a warm and inviting place. The people are so kind and welcoming to new people.

My in-laws are now in the memory side of the Oaks, in Desert Willows. There have been some small annoyances, but overall I am pleased at the care they are getting for the low price. The room size are designed for a single person, so even though my in-laws have the biggest room, it is a little tight for them.

They were a caring group of people and my husband really liked all of them . They seemed to do all they could to make him comfortable. I felt relief knowing he was cared for so well.

The only significant negative about the food was the switch to the breakfast buffet instead of ordering Ala carte. Dad says most of the resident he has talked to do not like the buffet. Then regarding activities, Dad has been told that Jenks is too far to go to the men's group dinner, but the ladies go to Claremore. So there is a perceived discrepancy there.

She moved there. It's pretty good. Insist on the leasing agent to give you enough time without hurrying you, have the person considering moving there to see it for themselves in person, make sure you see the unit you will be leasing and not "one similar", TRY THE FOOD, speak to other residents and see if they are getting enough food, consult the the Care person prior to moving in so you understand all expenses, get really clear on how transportation works there.
