We moved my mother in-law to Greenfield from Denton Tx after a second broken hip had limited her ability to ambulate and drive. We visited 6 other centers in the Arlington area and for the budget, amenities, social activities, and over all care we chose Greenfield. She has been very satisfied with the staff and the services received. The staff has been very helpful and the social activities are great. She enjoys the meal time and social interaction with folks with similar interest. The apartments are well cared for and move in was very easy. The public areas are clean and well appointed. We have been very blessed to find a place within her budget.

Overall, I think Bradfield is a nice facility. It is always clean and seems to be well kept and organized there. The staff is always polite, caring and helpful and the other residents are very nice. So far, so good.

The staff here is great. It seems to be a well run and well organized community. The building and living quarters are always kept nice and clean. Everyone from the administrative staff down to the maintenance crew are always so nice.

So far our experience with The Atrium at Overland Park has been a very good one! It's our first experience with placing a loved one in a community like this so I don't have much to compare it to, but so far we haven't been disappointed! The staff here is friendly and professional, and they seem to take great care of the residents!

Overall our experience with Grayson Place has been a very good one! It's a nice looking place, and the people seem friendly. My loved one needs some extra care and I've been very satisfied with what they've been providing. She needs help getting to and from meals, and has a few extra medications to worry about, and the high tier of care they provide has been sufficient for this. I also think they do a very good job with the food!

Chisholm Place is a very nice place. It is kind of small. I believe they have 36 people total. It is a single floor and easy to get around. The staff there is wonderful - very friendly and helpful.

My mother spent her last 30 days at Mercer Place. She was treated with the dignity and respect we had hoped for. With the small number of residents, it allowed employees more hands on time with residents who required the extra help - or at least more individual attention than we had witnessed at a much larger facility. We felt is was a good choice for our situation.

The staff made my mother in law feel welcome and included. They made sure she was invited to all the activities and she was loving life there in less than a week!

Everything was great while my loved one was here. They took good care. I didn't have any major complaints. I would rate them very highly. It was clean and the staff was friendly. I would recommend them to others.

So far things are going pretty good. The food is pretty good so far. They have plenty of entertainment and activities. They have a bus that will take us out to the grocery stores, but I don't see if they have transportation to appointments or not, but that would be nice. I don't have any complaints so far.

We've had a very positive experience with Brookdale Irving! My loved one really seems to be settling in well and enjoying himself here, he has made a few friends already! The staff has been very helpful throughout the whole experience, and they've delivered on everything they promised during the touring process. I would recommend them to others looking into this sort of care in the area!

Great facility, friendly staff. Food is good. Would be better only if staff size could be increased.

Right now I would say the only thing missing is more people who like to play a nice relaxing game and not too competitive. Otherwise it is about perfect for me. The apartment are a little on the small side but this is a positive for me as I have mobility issues and I can grab something if needed. The apartments have wonderfully high ceilings that make them look bigger and provide opportunity for creative decorating. The bathroom is a good size and has a nice walk-in shower. The facility is less than 15 yrs old and has nice gathering places such as the media center where you can watch a movie on the big screen TV with surround sound, play games, read a book or sit on the balcony to watch the sun set, They are truely pet friendly and have a nice fenced area for play. The laundry facilities are adequate but busy. I moved here from another retirement community and get more amenities for less money- 3 meals/day instead of the 2 at the old place (except Sat/Sun), daily trash pick up at my door, wkly housekeeping/linen service, fresh vegetables cooked just right and a full breakfast every morning if you want it and no dehydrated, reconstituted powdered eggs! I could go on but I'm running out of room. I'm getting so much more and better quality than the old place and at $400 less a month. The apartment may be smaller and the game players fewer in numbers but the move was definitely worth the effort. I didn't mention the incentives. I was lucky enough to catch a special that helped with moving expenses. Come check it out. I think you will be pleased too, They arent perfect but they are darn close,

If they don’t go up in price – it’s very reasonably priced. They have a good staff. It’s very clean, and priced right. The food is very good. I think everyone’s been real pleasant to deal with and helpful. There’s nothing to argue about. There is plenty of parking.

I was directed to Emeritus by A Place for Mom when I was searching for a place for an elder friend who had no family. Everyone was very helpful, understanding and patient - taking the time to listen to all my concerns about my friend. Within a week we had secured a suite for him at Emeritus. He seems to have adjusted well. I know he is eating better now. It was important to him to remain in the Irving area and he appears to be very happy in his new home. Emeritus has made his transition so easy and affordable.

We liked the Atriums very much except that it's independent living. The second floor is assisted living but mom had bypassed that - they weren't able to care for her at the level she needed. But we liked them very much.

There is always room for growth. Cleanliness was always good. Activities daily, weekly and monthly for the community to be involved. Exercise every morning for anyone wanting to participate. Worship couple times a month was always upbeat and full of songs the adults knew and loved. Medications seemed to be delivered on time. Medication director was great to sit down and work with as changes were needed. Staff was attentive to patrons with higher need care. My Mother did not do outside field trips but they had those monthly. There is an in house shipping that patrons could earn Bucks to shop with. Some days Mom looked the food and others not but for what I ate when there, it was always diverse selections and quality meals. Only complaints we had: 1. Family events were scheduled during the week and before work days was over. Made it hard to go and be involved in some of that stuff. 2. TV channel in gathering are was always on Little House on the Prairie 3. If moving out, you have to have 30 day notice on file or you pay the full next month. That's tough when your loved one unexpectedly passes. For Mom's needs her room was spacious and had what she needed. Bathroom was great. Loved the roll in shower.

They are still settling in and haven't used the amenities yet. Location and price are the main factors we chose this facility over others. Also, all the staff at the Oaks are really friendly.
