It really is a good place. It's clean and the staff is friendly. They are respectful upbeat and happy, and very attentive. One big reason we liked the Atrium is because of the food. Not everything is something that he likes, but they have good variety of alternate choices. Every time we have eaten there it has been good. The waitstaff is very good, they are trained and dedicated so they aren't doing other things while trying to serve. It's well staffed. There are a variety of activities. They bring in performance troupes. They do things, like going to movies, and they have in house activities as well. There are other gentleman there, and since they have assigned seating in the dining room, they make an effort to place people with others they might have things in common with. There is always someone at the front desk, and available, even later in the evening. When we have needed something hung up, or installed, they have always done it right away, usually by the next day, even on the weekends.

Sabra and her staff do a wonderful job of creating a clean and cheerful home for my mother who has lived at Lakewell for 3 1/2 years. The staff and facility are excellent. On the corporate side, the substantial increases in price cause us to evaluate constantly whether Mom will be able to afford to stay. Lakewell has priced itself out of reach for most people in this rural area.

So far it's going pretty good. We haven't had any complaints so far. It's clean and the staff is friendly. We haven't had complaints about food at all. We mostly chose them for the location, and the proximity to family. So far it's working out fine.

My mom loves it here! It's a large apartment complex, kind of like a hotel. It's very nice. They have a nice dining room, where she gets three meals a day. The food is good. She has a one bedroom, it has a small kitchen and bathroom. They have lots of activities. The staff are very nice, five stars. They're all wonderful! Everyone is very responsive. Cleanliness is good. The people that live there are friendly. They have entertainment that comes in and complimentary transportation to take them out, unless it's something out of the ordinary. They take them out to doctors visits, take them to the pharmacy, grocery shopping, restaurants, concerts and so on. It's five stars for what my mother needs!

I am impressed with Winkler Place - very impressed! They have a lot of activities going on. They really bend over backwards to help, and if ever there is an issue they go out of their way to fix it. The staff is incredibly nice, very friendly and personable, both with the residents and their family. They are just really a nice group of people, and it shows that they really truly care. The only thing I can even think of where they might could improve would be to give their employees a raise. Not that I know they need one (I have no idea what they make) but whatever it is I'm sure it could be more, as they are just that awesome!

Sundance has been a great experience for our entire family, starting with our loved one who is a resident. We can appreciate Sundance and its staff all the more because of a previous bad experience. The rooms are spread out in different hallways, eliminating a central hallway where some residents are more likely to become confrontational with other residents. The dining rooms are also very spacious. The entrances for visitors are "just any other windowless door", and not a place where some may congregate and want to leave. Everyone on the staff, from the administrators on down, take a genuine interest in all the residents AND those who visit them. Sundance is a very Christian, caring atmosphere. We couldn't be more satisfied!

My brother Charles was at Sundance a short time, wish he gotten there earlier. The staff always had a smile, ready to provide anything Charles wanted or needed. The overall caring atmosphere was wonderful to see. He loved to sing and listen to the Christian music during activity and quiet times. Charles was treated as family with dignity and respect. I am very pleased with the staff and their caregiving. The food is excellent! The help is always ready and willing to help us in any way. The staff is always planning different things to keep us entertained and they include our families in some of the activities. The staff has made this a pleasant place to live.

It's a really nice, clean facility, and very friendly; very friendly. He's got his own apartment . They also have 24 hour care there. It has a small kitchenette, and a full bathroom. They do all kinds of outings, to parks, the mall. They go out and eat sometimes. They have a place for exercise, and walking groups. They're working on a gardening group. The location is close to where I work, in a good part of town; easy to get there.

Conner Place is clean, inviting, friendly, and wonderful. The staff is incredible and we are so grateful for the care they provide for our dad. He is happy and healthy. We couldn't keep him at home any longer and the Conner Place answered or prayers. Thank you forall that you do. (Including the line dancing. . .that's his favorite!)

The care and compassion of the staff at Conner Place made my mom's transition to assisted living easier than we thought was possible.

My Uncle has made such huge milestones since he's been at Sundance! After suffering a stroke at the age of 69, he had such a rough road. Since he's been at Sundance his speech has improved tremendously as well as his mobility. We are starting to see him laugh again and his overall outlook has changed. We are so grateful for the staff at Sundance. They are family.

Our grandma, Mimi, is here and we just love it! Everyone is so nice and almost every time we come to visit her they are doing a fun activity with the residents. We are able to bring our kids and they are allowed to participate in the activities and spend as much time with Mimi as possible. Our family has peace knowing that she is in a clean, safe place and she is loved and cared for! We have also stayed for a couple of meals there and the food is home-cooked and absolutely delicious! We recently moved my mother to Sundance in Katy, and it has been such a positive transition for her. The Sundance staff members are all extremely positive, encouraging, and nurturing to the residents. They not only make our mom feel like part of their "family," but also everyone in our family who visits her. Sundance provides stimulating and varied activities that the residents thoroughly enjoy. We family members are invited to be a part of numerous fun events with our parent such as ice cream socials, teas, special meals/treats on holidays as well as on parents' birthdays, special events involving various community organizations who visit, etc. Sundance's foundation is Christian-based so the residents continue to hear God's Word through Scripture as well as in song and also in craft activities. What a comfort it is knowing this is a part of each day for them. All of the Sundance employees--from the directors to the nurse to the care partners to the kitchen staff--are extremely friendly and welcoming. They interact positively with the residents and their families and truly enjoy being an integral part of our parents' everyday lives. Because of this, our family has such an assuring confidence and trust in the well being of our mom each and every day. Communication with the residents' families is thorough, timely, and professional. We often receive updates and fun pictures of my mom enjoying an activity or event at Sundance. Should there be a medical concern or question, we are contacted immediately. In addition, the meals are varied and delicious. Sundance welcomes family members to join their parent for mealtime, and I can testify to how good the meals are because I have had the opportunity to eat with my mom several times. Again, we are very pleased that our mom and our family are now a part of the Sundance "family." It is so reassuring knowing our mom is receiving great care as well as love and attention every day.

The minute you walk through the door you can feel the heart that is put into this place. From the leadership down to the caregivers, these patients are treated like family. Innovative treatments, healthy home cooked meals, activities, a vegetable garden, and state of the art systems are among some of the things you will find when you walk through the door. What a wonderful place for your loved ones to be cared for. I highly recommend it!

My 90 year old mother has been a resident at Sundance for a year. This was her first move away from her home. The staff have been wonderful to her and helped her make the transition to assisted living. My siblings and I feel that this has been the best option for our mother. Although it is not the same as being in one's own home, Sundance has provided safety, excellent care, and comfort for Mom. The caregivers and the directors have all made Mom a part of their life and have given us peace of mind.

They are doing a good job so far. I don't have any complaints. I don't really have anything to compare it to, but I think we get our money's worth. We are happy with Emeritus at Irving.

I have been very happy with them. I really didn't want to come here, but now I really like it. Everyone called me by my first name within a few days. The food is good, except it's not as hot as it could be. They have steam tables, but if you don't get right down there, it can get cold. There are all kind of things to do, and I can go out and they take me places, like Walmart and the Doctors.

We are pleased so far. The staff is very friendly, I would give them a six out of five. They have plenty of activities. There are no complaints about the food at all. The staff is really, really attentive, and they respond to me very well. We liked that it was not so large as some that we were looking at, and that they seemed to have a Christian base.

I have the highest regard for all the employees at Strake Place. They are fair. They are prompt. When you call them, they always come right away. They are very caring here
