The people here are very nice. Overall the staff is excellent. They want to do well and they want the people who live here to be happy. I think there are quite a few people here who really should be in assisted living. But everybody has been so nice to me. I like my apartment. It wasn't as tenant ready as I expected, but they've been good about answering service requests. With the food, I would just like more variety and better quality.

The Atrium at Overland Park gave us a great tour experience. The reason we did not choose this facility was because it has multiple levels and my loved one is scared of elevators - so that was going to be an issue. I also felt it just was not as homey as another facility that we were considering.

Very qualified Staff and Nurse care and Director are amazing ! These folks are very diligent in caring for their clients. Have observed these points mentioned now for 6 months and have no examples whereby Lucas Place has failed us at any time ! Certainly have and will continue to endorse and recommend Lucas Place to rank as a “front runner” at decision time !

West Fork Village was actually my first choice there for a while. I liked that they had cottages with backyards, that would have worked out really nice for my dog. The deposit fee was pretty large and also the appliances were pretty dated which is ultimately why I did not move in there.

I thought Mackenzie Place was a nice place. And we definitely considered them. The rooms were a little bit smaller, and the facility had a little bit of age on it. But the staff there was fantastic. They were very attentive and reached out several times. It was a great facility, just not the right fit for my loved one. It had more of a nursing home feel rather than assisted living due to age and location of the facility.

My husband likes it here and the community seems to be very clean. They are taking great care of him. His needs have increased since he got there but I am sure that it changes with the transition and the decline. I am very satisfied with the placement at this community I just have some questions about the cost of the community and I am waiting for the director to get back to me.

This was a very nice community and they were extremely helpful and did a great job with the tour and was a top place. This was a very nice tour and they were very sweet . There was lots going on and the community was very big and felt my loved one would like something smaller.

This is place infinitely better than any place that has 300 beds. This is a very small assisted living place. This place is so much better for my friend.

It's everything I expected it to be. I pay one fee, which includes my rent and three meals a day. They have activities every day, and they can take you to the store and to your doctor appointments. I'm very satisfied with it at this point in my life, and there's not really anywhere else I would want to be. Overall I'm very happy with it.

I have recommended this community but at this time I am not happy. They are short staffed and they seem to be having issues keeping my mothers meds in order. The executive director is great but very inexperienced and there has been a lot of turn over. The only activity that I know of at the time is Bingo. During the tour this was my first choice, it was convenient and in a good location.

It's a very nice place that is clean. The staff and the workers are very friendly. I feel comfortable with my Mother living there. They try to get my loved one involved in activities to the best they can considering she is blind. She does enjoy the exercise activities. All of the people that I have met including the residents are all so friendly and seem to be happy.

I've already told others that Copper Canyon is a good place!

We like it here. It's a decent place. They have a little bit of everything. For what I'm paying though, I feel like they should have a designated room for smoking so you don't have to go outside to smoke.

I was concerned about Dad when Mom died five years ago. [name removed], who had been a home health nurse for my mom and was currently the administrator of Winkler Place, encouraged Dad to move into Winkler Place. After a year of prayer and seeking wise counsel, he did. It was truly an answered prayer. When [name removed] left, the cost increased and the services decreased. Covid hit us all hard. While I’m thankful that Covid mandates helped keep residents safe, the regulations were unnecessarily restrictive on my dad. The current administrator has implemented new practices (ie. gathering residents and discussing old times every week) which are beneficial to my dad and others. Sometimes there is a breakdown in communication and residents don’t know what’s going on or routine maintenance is slow in being addressed. The prepackaged food service is lacking. I do believe the staff truly cares about the residents and they have saved Dad’s life in more ways than one. I’m very grateful for that!

We had a great tour with The Wentworth. It is a very nice facility and everyone was friendly, it was just too large and I was worried my sister may get lost in the shuffle.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour was fine but we just were not as impressed with the community as we were with other places we looked at.

Our family had an in person tour and it was very clean, well organized and the people were friendly. They have access to a pool which we really liked, but there was not much of a courtyard our outside space for the residents.

The staff are caring and take very good care of my Mother! They have activities for people to participate in and involve the family. They allow them to bring their pet. Wonderful place to live!

The community really kept me informed on my loved one and how they were doing. I appriciated the extra set of eye i felt better knowing someone else was keeping an eye on him

The caregivers were really good. Some were great. Billing is not done in house and there were several issues, but the corrections were done quickly and professionally. They were honest when his care needs went beyond their ability and assisted with the transition to move him. My dad still lives there.
