The food seems to always be an issue. I loved the size, it's small enough. They have done a great job at keeping COVID out of the community. I wish they would do more communicating with the residents on things going on in the community. There is no hot water right now, and there is no explanation as to why. One of the reasons my loved one choose Mackenzie Place is for the activities. The activities director that was there when my loved one moved in, had to retire. The new activities director is not on the same page with the residents and she doesn't like the resident's favorite activities.

Have spent the last month or so here! The people who work here have been very nice!

I had an overall good experience at Lucas Place. I think they had good caregivers. In retrospect, it was definitely a good experience. The food was was not good as it could have been. I chose Lucas Place because we had another family member that lived there and reviews that others shared with me. I would recommend this community The director was very on top of things, she was understanding, and listened well.

Food could have been better.For the value it is a very good place. It was built as a hotel so it is open inside so the hallways are nice and bright. They have lots of activities going on. They staff is good.

I was very pleased with [name removed] and had selected them as a place for my wife. However, when they realized she had an unhealed wound from surgery, they refused to take her (it's from about a two-inch incision to apply screws in her broken hip. She's able to stand, if not walk well).

[Name removed] was super helpful and insightful. I am very glad I toured Broadmoor and I think it is an excellent value. It is not a good fit for my mother at this time, but if her dementia rapidly escalates, it probably won’t be long until it is exactly what she will require. She would be safe here.

Liked the fact that they had wine with there dinners and a heated pool.

My mom has been living at Lakewell Place since July 2019. She has been treated and cared for very well. The staff is very attentive to her. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars because there is always room for improvement. Very happy with the choice we made.

Great staff and facilities. Would like to see more activities for dementia residents.

Our Mother moved into Mackenzie Place in December 2018. She immediately felt at home and welcomed by everyone. She still loves it and her only complaint is that the menu items do not change. She was happy in the beginning but says she is tired of the same old thing. She loves when we visit and take her out to eat. We live out of state and have been so pleased and we don't have to worry about her care anymore.

Of the two facilities we have visited,this is the preferred location. Nicely updated apartments, nice size, and very accommodating. Feel this would be best choice for my MIL. Will definitely revisit when time comes for placement. We feel she could adjust to this location easier than [removed].

Wren Place looks like a wonderful place to reside. The facility is nice, very clean and when we were there it looked like they were continuing to improve with new furniture etc. The staff were super friendly and kind and the residents seemed very happy. The only reason that we did not choose this facility was the price.

Very attractive apartments. The dining area wasn't complete yet so don't have a comment there. Definitely on the high end for price.

My mom and i chose this property. The residence and staff were.very nice to my Mom during tour. She liked the space. [name removed] .is awesome.Answered all questions caring and professtionally.

Nice facility friendly staff

Everyone here is really friendly and the facility is always clean. My wife and I really like it here and it’s very warm and inviting. However, the food is not so great. I think the mixture of food is odd. They serve spaghetti with meat sauce and green beans together. Also, some of the portions are on the smaller side. I would recommend this facility to other families.

I toured here with my Mom when trying to find a place for her to live. The biggest thing for us was that the assistant took us on the tour, so there wasn’t that one on one interaction with the director that we would’ve liked. There wasn’t much discussion on what activities they’d be able to provide. However, it was clean and smelled good and it seemed like everyone there was pretty happy.

This facility is very nice and well maintained. All of the staff members are really nice and friendly. The reason why I didn’t pick this community for my Father is that they do not have a memory care unit for him. They have a nice courtyard for all of the residents and had a good atmosphere. The administrator who gave me my tour was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I would recommend this facility.

Brookdale has been a great experience for my mother so far. The staff is very attentive to their clientele, which is a big positive for me. The sales staff and the director made sure that all our questions were answered upfront so we could all be on the same page. There was a noise issue between my mother and her neighbor, but the staff remedied the situation very quickly. My mother is also very happy with the food there. I've seem the menus, and they seem very well balanced. She's also enjoying the activities and games there. Overall, it's been pleasant at Brookdale, and I would recommend the community to others.

We had to choose this community because of my dad's budget unfortunately. There are some things he doesn't like but hopefully will work themselves out like residents making certain comments he's not comfortable with. And the food is Ok but fed 3x a day. The employees are awesome here and so helpful. I wanna say [Removed] went above and beyond getting my dad situated and they even set up the home health for him also. They have lots of activities like bible study and cards and bingo he likes to enjoy. They have transportation to doctors and stores. They also have monthly outings they go on to a restaurant to eat either breakfast or dinner at. I would recommend this community.
