This is a great community for your loved one and it feels like home. As soon as I got here everyone made me feel like I was at home. It has been an all around positive living experience living here. I have a really nice home here.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour was fine but we just were not as impressed with the community as we were with other places we looked at.

Our family had an in person tour and it was very clean, well organized and the people were friendly. They have access to a pool which we really liked, but there was not much of a courtyard our outside space for the residents.

The staff are caring and take very good care of my Mother! They have activities for people to participate in and involve the family. They allow them to bring their pet. Wonderful place to live!

The community really kept me informed on my loved one and how they were doing. I appriciated the extra set of eye i felt better knowing someone else was keeping an eye on him

We liked Bluebonnet Place. But we didn’t get to talk with a local person. Our tour was led by someone from Corporate. Everything looked good, but we really would have rather talked to someone locally to get a true feel for the community.

We liked Broadmoor Place after touring there. The people we spoke to on the tour were super nice. Location played a part in our decision. We ended up choosing a place that was closer to where we lived.

I chose Cedarhurst of Woodland Hills because of the swimming pool that is on site, the value for the money, and I got good feedback on the food. The apartment sizes here are very good, I have plenty of space for what I need. It is a nice facility and I am very happy here.

My loved one enjoys the community. I like the way the staff will tailor their care to each resident. The community is privately owned and this is a big plus for me. There are different options for food, I just wish the community would remind the residents of the different options available to them.

The community is overall a good place for your loved one. Its neat and clean, the staff is very friendly and they have activities for the residence to participate in. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

We toured NewForest Estates and it was not handicap accessible which is what we needed. Also, the apartments were smaller and our furniture would not have fit in them.

The facility itself is very nice, and the value for cost is competitive but very reasonable. When it comes to the care services we do wish they would stay more in contact with our family with any updates regarding our loved one. The meals do sometimes are a little repetitive, but the residents do have the option to order something else which has not been a problem. Due to covid everything was restricted and shut down, but we do know they have offered things like bingo and other games.

Mom’s favorite so far, like big closet, liked the happy hour every other Friday;

When it came to the activities they did the best that they could given the current circumstances.

during the time our loved was there they treated her very well, and the rooms the provided for the residents would be about a three out of five.

I would tell people we had one exceptionally great nurse, that my loved one loved. We also had a nurse who my loved one didn't care for. The community worked hard to help with my loved one with food and being a picky eater.

The staff members were very friendly, outgoing and very personable, they talked to everyone. The rooms were very homey, but our loved one didn't really care for the food. However, we would recommend this community to others.

The food seems to always be an issue. I loved the size, it's small enough. They have done a great job at keeping COVID out of the community. I wish they would do more communicating with the residents on things going on in the community. There is no hot water right now, and there is no explanation as to why. One of the reasons my loved one choose Mackenzie Place is for the activities. The activities director that was there when my loved one moved in, had to retire. The new activities director is not on the same page with the residents and she doesn't like the resident's favorite activities.

I had an overall good experience at Lucas Place. I think they had good caregivers. In retrospect, it was definitely a good experience. The food was was not good as it could have been. I chose Lucas Place because we had another family member that lived there and reviews that others shared with me. I would recommend this community The director was very on top of things, she was understanding, and listened well.
