My mother has been a resident of Chisholm Place for five months. Her overall health has improved greatly since her residence began. My siblings and I attribute this to her increased activity level and the good nutrition and care provided by Chisholm Place assisted living. The staff is friendly and approachable. There is a great family friendly atmosphere evident from the moment one enters the facility. The hallways are wide and welcoming, with reading and activity areas scattered throughout the building. The building surrounds a lovely courtyard. The size of Chisholm Place is perfect for those with limited mobility or those who might get lost or overwhelmed in a larger facility. There are activities scheduled throughout the week. Transportation is available for medical appointments. There are resident socials and Family Nights on a regular basis. My family is very pleased with the care our mother receives at Chisholm Place.

Awesome place! Very nice, clean, and quiet. Their food is great and they really care about the residents/ Maria, the administrator, is so helpful and knowledgeable. All the staff do a wonderful job. It was a pleasure to have my mom stay at Lucas Place. I never had to worry about her needs or care.

I have a mother and handicapped sister that live there. You can tell that they genuinely care about them. My mother has dementia and they really try to engage with her by talking even though some days she just has a blank stare. With my sister who is not severally handicapped they allow her to go with them on supply runs, allow her to make the facility popcorn in their popcorn machine. They include here in events and sometimes just make her feel good ask her what she thinks.

Very good communications prior to my appointment. They were well prepared for my visit and were very helpful and patient with all my my questions. Very clean, great meal options and wide range of activities. Appeared to very well organized. This is one of the 2 places that are at the top of my list. I still need to consult with my sisters and mother before a final decision can be made.

My first visit to Broadmoor was a tour of the facility. It was clean and the Staff friendly. My second visit was with the new Executive Director, [name removed], who shared his wonderful vision for the future of Broadmoor Place. My third visit was as a guest at Breakfast, and I was impressed as I watched several of the Staff interact with the residents. They were respectful and very accommodating to requests made of them. Meals were served to the specific needs and requests of each client. This is definitely the place I would reside if no longer able to live alone.

Wonderful, resort-style, community with tons of amenities. This place is amazing!

I met with [name removed] to request information on this facility for a friend. [Name removed] was extremely helpful, answered all my questions and provided me with information that I could share with my friend.

I will be living here for 4 years as of next month and I am very happy here. I have many friends here, I know that I can come and talk to the executive director at any time regarding any issues whether personal or related to the community. I enjoy helping with the new residents and I look forward to remaining involved as long as my body allows me.

I came to tour and ended up signing the lease on the same day, everyone here is wonderful! I have only been here for a week and I already love the people and the food.

This community presented very well, they have great prices and their employees are wonderful! We will be moving in from another community. The property looks safe as all of the apartments are gated and staffed day and night all week. Thank you for the tour New forest!

AWESOME PLACE, PERFECT FOR MY MOTHER!

We just signed for mom to live at New Forest Estates. This place is fabulous inside and out. The residents are happy and friendly. I feel confident my mother will be well cared for in this community and she will make many new friends to share her golden years with like souls.

My grandma has been living at this community for a month this past Monday. I initially stayed with her the first 3 nights. She had managers coming into her apartment to greet her, staff coming by to clean her apartment and even residents introducing themselves. A month later, everyone here remains genuine, devoted and true to their word. Everything [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] promised has been delivered upon even 30 days later. This team is consistent!

Review of Assisted Living Pacifica New Forest Estates, San Antonio, TX. I am a baby boomer who recently made the transition from independent living (IL) to assisted living (AL) at Pacifica New Forest Estates in San Antonio, Texas. It was very difficult for me to admit that I couldn’t take care of myself. As a public relations professional for more than 50 years, I have always been very independent and self supporting. I am fortunate that New Forest Estates had an opening in their assisted-living facility. I moved here early in January and now wish that I had made the move MUCH sooner. The Spanish hacienda style AL building is homey and attractively decorated. The studio apartments are small (about 400 ft.²) but well designed for those of us who need a little something extra. There are large windows, a modest Galley Kitchen, with microwave and mini fridge provided. Plenty of built in storage is handy for kitchen and other items. Luxuriate in the walk-in shower, a part of the large fully outfitted bathroom, which comes equipped with a built-in seat, hand held sprayer, and plenty of grab bars. The closet is large and easily accessible.. AL has many types of activities, such as art, music and outings using the New Forest Estates handicapped-accessible bus.. There is a cozy dining room and several living areas complete with large televisions and a baby grand piano, as well as a library and craft room. The building is secure 27/7, with a professional always on duty. I like the staff here very much. They all work to make us comfortable and happy. I feel like I am part of an extended family. AL staff members include [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], and [name removed]. We AL residents also have access to the large IL swimming pool area as well as an in-house beauty shop. It is a pet friendly facility, allowing cats, small leash-trained dogs, and birds. All meals, Housekeeping and laundry are included as part of the reasonable rent, along with cable TV. So-o-o, what are you waiting for? Newforest Estate offers a beautiful community that truly cares about its residents. The staff is amazing!

I recently moved from New York state, this is my first full day here at NewForest Estates. This is like Heaven with gold bricks compared to New York City. I worked at IBM for 28 years and moved down to San Antonio to be close to my daughter. She is the OR Manager at the VA Hospital close by me. She is the one who was pleased with this community and made the decision for me. Both she and I are very happy at this community. [Name removed] and I have a lot in common, I am looking forward to wearing a my new cowboy hat he gave me once I go back to New York to visit. I have never been so warmly welcomed anywhere I have lived.

I have lived at Newforest for almost 3 years and I like it very much. The residents are all very friendly and nice to be around. The staff is very kind & friendly and are very helpful to all of the residents. I am 92 years old and hope to be able to live here for the rest of my life.
