This community was far away from where I live and I wanted the community to be closer to me. This was also a smaller community and we wanted something bigger for my loved one.

My Dad has been a resident of Lucas Place since last July. The staff there is taking great care of him. They are very friendly and helpful to our family also. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a retirement community for their loved one!

I was having trouble living alone do to some health issues so my family and I decided to give Winkler a try. This wasn't something I wanted to do but I knew it was for the best! So far my experience has been nothing less than great. They're hear when I need them. I am still able to drive/ run errands as I please!

Although my mother was not thrilled to leave her home of sixty plus years to live at Winkler Place, she realized that this community cares about her well-being. The staff is genuinely concerned about her health and contentment. They are patient and kind to her even on her harder to please days. As a family we are very satisfied with the decision for mom to live in this caring community.

This is an amazing community for your loved one. I have no complaints at all. They have activities like daily memory exercises and then activities depending on the month of the year. This month they will be doing things for valentines day and more.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour was great but we just did not get that warm and cozy feeling.

The activities here are great and what we are paying for and everything our loved one has received the value for cost is great. We would recommend the Legacy Ranch to other families.

Mom left her home of 35 years unhappy with the prospect of assisted living. After a short adjustment period, she found joy and purpose. She became immersed in fun activities, singing, and delicious meals served in such an elegant setting. The beauty shop was her happy place and red nails made her giggle. The staff treated her like royalty and they would often be seen with lipstick kisses on their cheeks left there by [name removed]. Winkler was home for almost five years for mom. When it was time to leave this earth, the staff was right beside me as I walked her to heaven. In the season of Covid they made sure My prayer was fulfilled. I held mom’s hand as she walked into the presence of Jesus.

Winkler Place is a warm, inviting community where residents feel like family.The staff is very compassionate, caring, and sincere.It is a great place to interact with other residents during activities and events. The dinning is excellent. Kim Henigan

Amazing facility and staff. I feel like the staff goes above and beyond to meet their residents needs and wants. I feel the Facility nurse is on top of all clinicals needs. Very clean facility and the food is great! I’ve heard numerous residents tell me personally how they enjoy themselves at Winkler. I feel they communicate great with my agency whom provides care to some of their residents. They are very well known in community. I’d definitely consider them for family if needed. Overall great place!!

Our parents were only there for about a month but during that time we could see how clean the community was. The meals were good but at times they could of used more vegetables. The location was key for our family and we would recommend this community to others.

This is a great place to have your loved ones. I have seen a great improvement in my loved one’s cognitive memory and has gained some weight since being in the community. Hay rides, parades, holiday scenes, active memory games, and more are some of the activities available for the residents to participate in.

I would tell others that it is a good place and to come see me. There are plenty of activities if a resident would like to join. The staff is friendly. The food is good, and the taste is wonderful.

This community feels like a home when you walk in. People greet you with a smile and a handshake. They offered us a cup of coffee and a bottle of water as we sat to talk with them. You can tell they take pride in this community. We toured this community and loved seeing the way the staff was with the residents. The Marketing Director [name removed] and the Executive Director [name removed] made us feel very at ease about our decision to move our brother in Broadmoor Place.

Had a great experience when finding a place for my uncle. I was moving him from San Francisco to Texas and the people at Lucas Place made it very easy. Especially [name removed]. Place was well cared and updated. From site visit to move in the staff helped me in every way possible. My uncle seems very pleased with the location and service. My uncle has not been there long enough to participate in the activities but I am sure he will approve.

I was first impressed during Covid that masks were worn and not worn below the nose like some people do. They clearly want to protect their residents. Greta is the most wonderful person to deal with. Always greeted by the workers when we walked in. Very clean at all times.
