I have enjoyed having my meals with friends that I have met while living here at Emerson. I have been here 1 year and love it

This is a very good and secure place. Our loved one is very happy and settled nicely into the community. The food is very good, and there are three meals a day served to the residents. There are choices for the residents to choose from. I believe there should be more activities offered to the residents, specifically more intellectually. Bingo, exercise activities, and more are some of the activities offered for the residents to participate in.

As someone who has written many columns on great customer service I put The Lodge at the top of the list. Excellent! [Name removed] was first person we met. She sets the the tone others follow. Well done!

We had looked at several communities in Bryan/College Station for a nice place for our mom. My sisters and I chose this community because we fell in love with the leaders of this community first, and then the care staff that take GREAT care of our mom. I visit her several times a week and the community is always clean and everyone is so nice and welcoming. They treat us like we are all one big family. I would recommend this community to anyone who is looking for their mom or dad.

From the beginning, we could tell the administrators cared for every member of our family. They listened to our desire for someone to lovingly care for our mom and helped each of us feel confident in their care. They are knowledgeable and skilled. They work diligently to create a community that feels like a close knit family. They decorate the facility with beautiful seasonal decorations and provide activities of interest. Then we saw the caregivers tenderly care for mom, give encouragement, and watch for any medical concern that we might not see on a quick visit. They hugged my mom when she was discouraged or scared and assured her that they cared for her. The nurse was meticulous about getting meds lined up so mom had what she needed. In addition, they work to make their facility better, not satisfied with “okay”. Also, they provide transportation to Dr appts, a beautician for routine hair needs, and a chef concerned with delicious meals.

I have visited this property on numerous occasions and have had a great experience each time. From the outside to the inside, this place is well taken care of. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who's looking forward to a superb environment for their loved ones.

For the past 20 plus years my granny has always walked with canes due to having several back surgeries. She moved into Broadmoor Place this past year due to declining health and her doctor saying she can't live alone any longer. The Community Relations Director suggested she move in straight from her rehab stay instead of going home first. It was the best decision our family made. She has received physical therapy each week and has settled in very nicely. She walks now without using her canes at all. The staff at Broadmoor have her completely spoiled and are so good to her. Our family is extremely happy with this small cozy community. The community is beautiful!!!

Would definitely recommend for family or friends looking for a place to live for seniors and a wonderful place to work. I’ve seen firsthand really caring and compassionate caregivers and management staff.

Broadmoor Place is managed by a wonderful staff that is full of energy and a passion for serving. They have made Broadmoor Place feel like home, have fun activities, keep the residents engaged daily and serve excellent food. We are so happy with the service and staff!

I am the administrator for Remarkable Hospice of College Station and let me tell you, it is always a joy walking into Broadmoor Place! The staff is engaging, the residents always have smiles on their faces, and not to mention the building is BEAUTIFUL!!!! There's a reason they are able to stay at 100% capacity!! As a health vendor who is constantly in and out of the building, it is nice to know that if our patients ever needed to move out of the home and into an AL community, we have a place like Broadmoor to refer them too. You will always feel like family walking into Broadmoor Place!

Broadmoor Place is not only a beautiful community, but it’s filled with even more beautiful souls. Everyone on the team has a heart for service and resident-centered care. Their heart and the amount of love they all have to give is evident as soon as you walk through the door. There is a certain warmth when you enter that makes you feel right at home.

I was looking for a safe community for a while to move into to live closer to my family. I talked to the Community Relations Manager at Broadmoor several times before I decided to tour. She was super kind with me and very encouraging to try Broadmoor Place. I came and toured three times and finally moved in. I am so glad I did. I LOVE the connections I have made with other residents and staff. It's now my HOME and I am super happy.

Hopkins Place gets 5 stars on every category. We couldn't be happier for our mother. It was by far the best place that we looked at. The staff makes everyone at the facility feel like family. At lunch the entire staff comes out of their offices to help and visit with the residents. Who does that!! I would HIGHLY recommend Hopkins Place to others.

This was a nice community. It was further from family than we wanted.

When my Aunt decided she could no longer live alone, my Mom and I search for her a place to live. We visited almost every facility in our area. The warmth, size and home like feeling had us convinced to choose Broadmoor Place. At 95, Aunt [name removed] loved the idea she no longer had to cook, do her own laundry, go to the grocery store or worry about paying her bills. She has thrived there for the past 10 years. She loves the group exercise, and games. You can always find her in the recreation room working on a puzzle or sharing her word search with someone. At 105 she is happy, healthy and very content , thank to the staff and management at Broadmoor Place.

The Executive Director and Community Relations Manager have been a blessing with my moms transition to assisted living . The entire staff are very professional and caring. My mom is very happy and settled in ,due to the effort of the entire staff at Broadmoor. We are both thankful.

1Excellent overall experience!! The community is very clean...nice smell even!!! All of the staff members were friendly!!! Our loved one passed away before she could move in but the quality of care seemed like the best!! Even though we never ate the meals...they sounded excellent!! Our loved one was so excited to get involved in the activities!! The value was comparable to all other places that provided that quality of care.

The food is kind of bland. It's pretty much like institutional food. The value for the money is good. We picked this community because, it was close proximity to where live, more affordable, and clean. It's pretty good so far. I would recommend to other families. They have outings/fields trips a couple times per week. They also have group activites, and keep the residents engaged. They have a movie theatre room, and big screen TV's in the lounging area.
