Decent place. [Removed] is very sweet and offered us many treats for ourselves and especially for Mom. We didn't get to meet many residents and we don't know if they like it there. Rooms with a lanai have a couple steps down, which is not good for Mom. Cost is higher than other places, but first year sale price is tempting.

I had a pretty good tour of this facility. Everything looked nice, and clean from what I saw. The staff was kind, and friendly. It was a good experience, and they were very kind to my family and I. There were many factors that played into where to move my aunt too. Unfortunately she didn't feel this was the place for her.

I had a pretty good tour of this community. From what I saw everything looked nice and clean. It is a larger community compared to others. I felt that they would be a little overwhelming for my in laws. The staff was kind and friendly. It was the community to care for them and their needs.

This community is primarily for adults with dementia. The physical facility is older but well maintained. The rooms are smaller than many of the more recently built locations and residents share a half bath with the adjoining room. The dining area looked really nice and well maintained and the common living area on the side visited was homey with comfortable chairs, books and TV.

I must tell you I am there almost every day to visit my mother in the memory care unit The service you get from management when there was a issue with my mothers feet swelling. Needless to say my mother has kidney cancer. Trying to get someone with patient care to help was very unacceptable Almost two weeks to get them to have a Dr look at my mother. I was very disapointed in the care and compassion my mom never received,

The staff that offered the tour were very helpful and nice. Southern Manor Living Center is a decent community but seems to be a little crowded. It was a little older and not as clean as it could be. The community would be great with an update and deep cleaning.

Everyone who worked at Belle Reve was very helpful and kind. They tried to make my mom feel welcome. Unfortunately her dementia did not allow her to stay there. They are not equipped to deal with patients who are disruptive. So my mother had to leave.

Too far from home

We visited and really enjoyed our visit. Everyone was so nice. The rooms were a little small for us. I have a problem with small places. If this was not my problem, I would have loved to live there. The view was amazing. People were great and made us feel welcome.

Mother didn't like having Jack & Jill bathroom

Although the staff are friendly and seem to genuinely care about the residents, there are not enough staff members to take care of the needs of the residents.

Greenfield of Berryville is an excellent facility. Overall we are happy. There is, however, a lot of overturn in the aids and therefore a lot of constant retraining which can be a little burdensome at times.

It was one of those places where we didn't really get a good feeling which was unfortunate because it would have been convinient for us. There was a back door that went out onto a road that was always opened and it wasn't as clean as we thought it should have been. Price wise it seemed pretty good, average price at least for Northern Virginia. It didn't seem that anybody was unhappy there, but we didn't spend a lot of time looking at it because we didn't get a good feeling about it.

They were originally my first choice, but they promised they were going to do this and that, like the evaluation form and stuff like that and they didn't come through on that at all. They kept postponing things and making arrangements with the rehab

I liked the other location better, but not the quality of care. Charlotte stated they did not have a room available. The rate for Level 3 respite in a private room was $5000/month. She stated the applying for MA could take as long as 5 yrs on a waiting list. It could be an option to use VA benefit coverage, which takes less time. However, I don't know if you would be limited to VA sponsored facilities. The shared room would be $3400/month, single room $5000/month. She offered to visit Mom to talk to her and assess (not formally), if she would be appropriate for lower than Level 3 care. I really don't think she would.

Not that impressed - nice place and people but just not what we are looking for at this time.

Said allowed pets. Did tour and found out they wanted $500 deposit for cat and an extra $200 per month. Have plenty of dogs, just do not like cats apparently.
