The Good- They cared about her and were really on top of everything from meds to food to sitting with her when she needed it. Need for Improvement-There was a delay in installing a warning system for signally when my mom got out of bed. She was wobbly so she could have fallen. I would recommend it.

The staff I have met seem to truly care about the residents even though as in our case the resident is overall selfish and irritating. Also like visitation of medical personnel. Don’t see much that could be improved on given the cost

The staff are so kind, helpful, caring and very approachable. They have a great sense of humor to balance their professionalism. I would recommend to others.

Everything is as expected. We chose them over others due to cost. I would recommend them to others who are searching for a community for their loved one.

Well the food people with special needs need to be paid attention to some nurses are not so pleasant.

The facility and staff have been amazing. Cleanliness is stellar. The apartment for the cost is appropriate. There have been a few issues here and there, however when brought to their attention they address them very quickly. Overall a great experience.

Friendly staff, a nice variety of activities (although mom has only participated in a couple). Apartment is small, but sufficient. Generally the facility is clean and cared for, but the apartment was not clean-move-in-ready when we received the keys.

At the Terrace at Chestnut Hill, it's a clean, well maintained facility. The staff are very kind and friendly. The food is good too. There are a wealth of activities to keep you busy.

No place is perfect but this place has been wonderful. One complaint from residents (I experienced too) is a long time to serve dinner. There were times I could smell urine when entering and in the building. I understand this can be difficult to prevent if the resident has soiled themselves and that is the odor. As far as everything else...the activities, entertainment keeps my Mom busy (if she chooses to be). The food is good with a variety to choose. The apartment is a nice size and very clean. The facility is also clean. The very BEST is the staff and care led by [Names removed] to name a few. They are responsive and I feel like my Mom is in good hands. The other thing is that it seems everyone pitches in. [Name removed] doing meds on Mother's Day, etc. the director (cannot recall her name) doing Taco's on May 5.

They are doing what they say they will do....the food/dining experience isn't the best...food is mostly bland, but there are exceptions, just average fare. I would recommend it. compared to other places I visited my family is happy with the place. Its not perfect, but the staff is nice, helpful, and accessible....its a big place, easy for newcomers to get turned around. Every hallway looks the same....but there are always things to do, entertainment, options for peer engagement if you want to....

All the staff are very nice, place is clean everywhere- rooms, hallways, cafe. It doesn't smell like urine anywhere like a lot of other nursing homes do. They have there own laundry unit where you can pay to have it done for the resident or family can use the facility for free. There are a ton of activities going on including outdoor outings with there company bus, garden club, crafts, bingo, movie nights, and nail painting. There is definitely something for everybody. Even if you don't like to mingle the staff are still very friendly and try to make you feel at home as much as possible. The only reason I would t give 5 stars is because there are a few aids that dont change residents as soon as they should be. I understand they are busy and have a lot to do but some work faster than others. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this as your loved one's next home!

I didn't know what to expect - but everyone I talked and dealt with was nice & tried to be helpful - and every company / service has room to improve The facility and staff are I would say awesome / exceptional .... every need I have had they have tried to go over and above -- the staff are all professional , caring , and the Exec Dir. for VIva Senior Living is very great , compassionate, understanding- and like I said - any issues I have addressed ( have a couple small ones ) and he has been more accommodating.... and the overall facility is very clean , orderly , professional etc .... I would recommend this facility to anyone in need of assisted living / independent living -- overall prices are competitive with a facility of its style & caliber

It is a very nice place, room is nicely sized, activities everyday. I wish the nursing staff were more available.

Accommodations are far too small. Otherwise I thought it was a wonderful place. Great place for some, but I would be bored and cramped.

Good is good. Nurses and staff are friendly and attentive. Yes, would recommend.

Smaller size with fewer residents, custom menus, nice rooms and amenities, friendly staff.

Nice place. It was clean and well lit. I was there during lunch and the place smelled great with the food they were providing. My guide was helpful and answered all of my questions. Showed both room options they had available and reviewed all pricing in detail. I am in the early stages of looking for a place for my mom and this was a good starting spot.

#1:4(I am a diehard New Yorker; miss the whole vibe. Nowhere else has been like it. As a home-away-from-home, it's more like a college dorm experience) #2: 5 #3: 4 (there are always a few less-than-upbeat individuals in these communities). #4: 5 ( though I don't require the kind of care that assisted living residents do, I have observed good attention being paid to the residents in that section) #5: 5 #6:4 (not always great , but adequate) #7: 4 ( As there is no pool or hobby shop, there are games and entertainers that make the days interesting enough). #8:5 ( there is adequate attention to the facility as well as enough well-maintained areas to make the living comfortable and worthwhile for the cost involved)

Cardinal village is a nice property. She's happy adjusted nursing staff is great very receptive. At this time, we have no complaints about the facility other than the facility was bought out by a company called Viva, and they never notified the family only the residence that it was a change of hands. The nursing staff is very nice very reliable. The properties clean the room is clean or the apartment. I should say. My aunt says the food is OK. Some things are better than others.

[name removed] has been very good and is very clean. Rooms are a little bit smaller than some of the other places I like the holiness of Traditions and I like the fact that it was very close to our home. My in-laws seemed happy though. I like that the place is not too big and feels like home.
