I would tell others that my loved one is happy and well cared-for. Communication when there are concerns has been a positive experience for the most part. The staff is caring and positive when interacting with residents.

Residents' apartments are larger than in other assisted living places in the area. They are able to prepare themselves meals in their apartments when they prefer. The staff is helpful and kind. While there are many activities offered, few appeal to my father, who is younger than most other residents and able to be more active.

We liked the feeling of the community and the staff were wonderful. It was a little out of our price range, and we weren't crazy about the rooms available.

I didn't see any residents or staff come in to welcome my loved one into the community after the first day. I feel this might have contributed to my loved one not enjoying the community. I feel that it might be beneficial for the community to have a welcome committee for the first week to make the adjustment easier on the new residents. The staff and residents were very friendly when meeting them. The food was really good.

Don't take anything unless you don't mind if it gets lost. Things tend to disappear. They don't have enough staff. I don't think the activities are that great. They say they take the residents to participate, but very rarely do I see my loved one participating. I think that ties back to understaffing. I think it's overpriced. You pay because it's pretty, but they don't do a whole lot for the money. It's not a terrible place. It's probably better than a lot of them. It's just overpriced.

Anyone in a similar situation looking for assisted living, Park Terrace should be on your short list. We looked at a few places and I think we did the best we could when choosing this community. They do have some deficiencies, but they are mostly quite good. Every place will have some failings. Overall I would still recommend others to add Park Terrace to their short list of communities.

The staff is very good to the people who live there. The facility is clean. They are constantly doing activities - bingo, pedal bikes outside, they had horse wagon rides one day. They load them up in the bus and take them around town for a ride. They have movie days. They celebrate the holidays. They're constantly doing something. Overall I think it's a good choice.

They need to have someone there at night time to answer the phones, there is no way to get in touch with anybody with any questions or concerns we may have after 5PM.

Commonwealth Senior Living is very clean, we always saw house keeping cleaning and picking up after our loved one. The care services that came from the aids and the new director were amazing. They were always so nice, kind and caring to our loved one and family. The new director is really starting to get the activities going again, and she really encouraged our loved one to get out and be social. Where some things fell short was the head nurse and certain services. We expected certain services to happen that were important to us, and they did not. So we were not very impressed with that. Also the head nurse just had a really hard time keeping up communication with us, it was always difficult to set up meetings and get the nurse involved.

I had a good tour with Franklin Manor. All of my tours with the facilities I looked at were similar, it just came down to the location for us.

Thus far I have been pleased with the Commonwealth of Berryville(formerly known as Greenfield) I believe there are new owners. The staff has been very accommodating to myself & my family. They have been very respectful and attentive to my loved ones. The facility is very clean, low odor and quiet. Only concern with Covid is staffing, which I was assured there are several new hires.

Everything has been working out well. Heritage Hills is a very good facility and we are satisfied with the experience so far. I would definitely recommend them to other families in the area who are looking.

We had a virtual tour with Heritage Hill and it was a nice facility and the staff who showed us around were all very friendly and conducted themselves well.

We had a very nice tour. The rooms were nice, and the staff was nice overall (although not as nice as another place we looked at. At Park Terrace, basically anybody outside of tour just ignored us). But every single resident there was in a wheelchair or a walker. It was basically a higher level of care than what we looking for for Mom.

The staff is wonderful. They will do anything you ask of them and tended to our mom like she was their own. The pictures I see on the Bright Leaf Place Danville location does not show the Memory Care residential area. Memory Care needs to be renovated with more space. The sitting area and dining area are situated right beside each other. It's a very cramped area. The staff's office area is too small. There's a small bathroom right there in the dining area. The Memory Care staff is commended greatly for what they have to deal with. Well done ladies and gentlemen! Thank you so much!

Our family had an in person tour and the tour was wonderful the lady was very lovely but another community was able to accept our loved one with their level of care.

We chose Hope Center because it looked like it offered the best quality of care. I talk to others who have their parents there and they seem to be happy as well. It has been a good experience and I would recommend them.

Our family had an in person tour and it was very nice but smaller than what we were looking for. Since it was smaller it did not seem like they had enough resources and amenities on site. However the people were very nice and it was kept really clean. very nice but smaller then what we were looking not enough ersouraces and facility on site peopel were veyr nice and place and clean

This is a very nice community. My loved one seems well taken care of. All the staff are really nice, and proactive in the care of my loved one. It has given me peace of mind knowing my loved one is here. I've been pleased so far with the care my loved one has received. The food isn't as hot as my loved one would like it to be. They had a loaded activities calendar when we toured. There aren't as many activities offered now that my loved one has moved in. Due to the pandemic they haven't been doing outings with the residents.

We chose Wilson Manor because they made you feel welcome and like family right off the bat, they really just take you in from the moment you walk in the door. They were so easy to deal with on all aspects. They truly felt like family and I would definitely recommend them.
