Things are going fine, really good care, she particiaptes in bingo and she participates in the group activites and they have the church services on Sunday, she participates in that. one of the things they could imrpove with dementia patients- my moms situation is, before she had the fall in April and the stroke, she was very sedintary- she had all this rehab at Greenfield and she got real strong but in the morning they get her dressed and bring her out into the general population because she's a fall risk, even though she's strong, she's weak on her legs so she can't be in her room by herself. Because she's sitting and her legs are down, her legs are swelling, i was thinking about bringing a recliner into her room but she can't stay in there so I don't know what to do.

My husband's Aunt Nancy, who is 100 years old, moved into Greenfield in April 2013. We moved her to the memory care unit because she has Alzheimer's Disease and her strength had deteriorated to the point that she could no longer walk with a walker and had to be taken everywhere -- even to the bathroom -- in a wheelchair. She had fallen a couple of times at home and it was clear she needed more help than we could provide. Within a few months of moving to Greenfield, Nancy was once again walking with just a walker completely on her own. Her overall health has improved and she continues to improve. She is happy and engaged in the many activities offered to her. Everyone who works there is kind and caring. We are very impressed!

They are wonderful. He's happy and he's gaining weight. I know he does activities. I'm not sure what they are but I assume since he's happy and he does them that they must be good. The things I like about them are the kindness and the respect that they staff gives them. They give him so much kindness, respect, and humor so he's comfortable there. He's kind of a recluse so that makes me feel really good.

Fantastic place & Rich was great!! Place offered so many amentities & the apts with balconies were fantastic. Looks like a GREAT place to live....would love to choose this place but costs may be an issue.

Arbor Terrace was outstanding. I think this would be my first choice. It had everything I was looking for. Just not sure if I am set to do this now. I may waiting for another year or two. Also there is a one time Community fee, not as high as some of the other. Food was outstanding here too.

Visited this Community in June. Very friendly staff; well maintained; good atmosphere. Appeared to be a lot of interaction and alot of staff on duty. Very nice sized rooms and baths.

We chose Greedfield because it was a lot more affordable then the other comparable communities. In our locations the communities were charging $5,000 to $6,000 and at Greenfield for the same package we are paying around $2,200. It is a little further away and we have to drive around 30 minutes but it is really worth the value we are getting. When we added everything including the gas, groceries and everything we were even paying more when she was staying at home with home care companies. She really needed the companionship and socialization she is getting now. Greenfield has well kept ground and two screened porches with rocking chairs where you can just sit, rock and enjoy nature. I am pretty picky and had looked at 8 different communities before making my decision. We are very very happy with our choice.

We chose this community for my father because it was recommended by a friend and they have received the Best Assisted Living Award in the Chesapeake area two years running. The only downside is that the staff does not take time out, but family and friends can take them out when they come and visit. The community is very small and gives it a more home like feeling. He was in a rehab before we moved him here and we are much happier now. The price of this community is very good for what they offer. We are very happy with the choice that we made and would recommend this community.

Greenfield of Stafford is smaller than some of the larger facilities we toured. We preferred the smaller ones. The Meals are good, I had a couple of meals with mom. The people there were friendly. The rooms were pretty big too, 12x 18 for an individual room.

My family and I visited several places and decided on Heritage Hills. Of all the places I went, I was most comfortable with the way the community is layed out. The staff was super friendly and even before we knew for sure that my father would need assisted living, they called just to see how he was doing and if there were any questions they could help with regarding his situation (even if he didn't come to their place). I like that they refer to it as a senior community, not a home, not a facility. I have been to visit my father several times and even had a few meals with him there. Each time, everyone I met was friendly & helpful. My dad is not a very social person but he seems happier since he is there. It was also a great help that he has the option of having an inhouse doctor, eye doctor, dentist & podiatrist. This is a difficult decision for any child to have to make, but I know he is safe & well cared for.

Toured this facility and very impressed. My brother also liked what he saw on his tour and moved in.

I feel confident after the tour and meeting some of the staff that my father would be in good hands here @ Arbor Terrance. The director couldn't have been more helpful, reassuring and personable. The community is homey and has a feeling of serenity. Thanks.

Very nice facility!!! Small pets allowed for extra charge (under 20 pounds). Private room within price range. Med administration part of base rate. Low community fee.

Loved this place and was my #1 choice

Staff is amazing, caring kind, compassionate. Administration is working hard to improve and fix ongoing problems (they just took over in May of 2024), executive director is dealing with getting staffing right and doing her best. Tries to be accommodating to everyone's needs. Already seen many improvements since our loved one arrived in January. We are extremely happy overall with Viva.

I just love the fact that they always have some type of activity goin on. You can be as active as you want, or you can choose not to participate if you don't want to. They provide lots of outings for the residents, which I think is great. And everybody is super friendly. I would definitely recommend it.

Our loved one are delighted to be there, and they just rave about how delicious the food is. They talk about lobster bisque, prime rib and cheesecake. Our aunt never misses bingo and loves to take advantage of the beauty salon. Our uncle plays poker with some other gentlemen in the community. Their apartment is set up nicely, the community is very well kept and they really like all the staff there.
