Loved this place and was my #1 choice

Staff is amazing, caring kind, compassionate. Administration is working hard to improve and fix ongoing problems (they just took over in May of 2024), executive director is dealing with getting staffing right and doing her best. Tries to be accommodating to everyone's needs. Already seen many improvements since our loved one arrived in January. We are extremely happy overall with Viva.

I just love the fact that they always have some type of activity goin on. You can be as active as you want, or you can choose not to participate if you don't want to. They provide lots of outings for the residents, which I think is great. And everybody is super friendly. I would definitely recommend it.

Our loved one are delighted to be there, and they just rave about how delicious the food is. They talk about lobster bisque, prime rib and cheesecake. Our aunt never misses bingo and loves to take advantage of the beauty salon. Our uncle plays poker with some other gentlemen in the community. Their apartment is set up nicely, the community is very well kept and they really like all the staff there.

The community is very clean and all on one level which is very nice. Our loved ones bedroom is very large, the square footage is unlike anything we have seen. The staff members are very friendly.

This was a very good tour at this community. The community was a bigger community and they seem to really push the activities and gatherings that they have. Everyone comes to a dining area for meals. There are also gathering areas on each level and there was a lot more interaction with people. It was not a good fit for us due to the size and also more expensive.

They got me out of me a hot spot. They were able to take my loved one in a short amount of time.

We have nothing but praise for Heritage Hill Senior Community. From the first day we met the staff to plan for my mother's admission to the present, they have been a source of security and comfort for her as well as for us. They implemented strict safety measures quickly when the Covid Virus epidemic was in its early stages, and have kept both residents and staff safe. Each member of the staff seems to have formed a personal friendship with our family to the extent that they have become an extension of our family. When grandchildren and great-grand children visit, they, too, feel they are in a comfortable place. The nursing staff, therapists, and activity staff all give care and kindness at a high level. The activity director goes above and beyond to maintain cognitive functioning and uplifted spirits, meeting not only the needs of the residents as a whole, but also the particular individual needs of each resident. Essentially, Heritage Hill is a clean, friendly, well staffed caring service, which comes highly recommended by medical professionals. The fees are kept affordable. We are thankful for Heritage Hill.

Every Single person, we have come in contact with, are so far beyond phenomenal! My mother is so happy and loves everyone. We've had her in Nursing homes before, however, nothing like your facility. If I have questions, there is always someone to help, and mom is soooooo happy! Thank you all for EVERYTHING!

Mom loves it!

My Mother is a resident at Commonwealth Senior Living (Hbg.) From the very beginning she enjoyed the relaxing peaceful setting. When she first arrived the family was very concerned about her happiness & the transition from her home to senior living. Thankfully she engages regularly in group activities, devotional services, movie theater & art classes. She enjoys her fellow residents, the compassionate staff & the connectivity. We cannot say enough about [names removed] just to name a few. I have noticed the staff seems very respectful of my Mother's needs and her day to day happiness. Whenever we have a question or concern [names removed] are always very helpful. My Mother enjoys her meals because of helpful kind dietary employees. My Mother's room is always kept very clean & the facility is decorated so beautiful with seasonal items which brightens up the residents days. It is such a relief to see Mom happy and taken care of thanks to the wonderful staff at Commonwealth.

My Mother [name removed] came to Cardinal Village ins [date removed], after the death of her husband. Mom and i looked at a few local places and she chose independent living at CV. She was Very comfotable there and seemed to enjoy it, with time and circumstances we moved her to assisted living where she was well cared for, and commented how pleasant all were to her. I would recommend CV to any family because i could Trust them to look after a loved one with dignity and compassion.

I am a former PA Vol. Ombudsman and now a volunteer at Heritage Hill. During the 7 years that I was an Ombudsman, I found the facility was always clean, orderly and had acceptable temperatures, lighting and sound levels. Upon interviewing the Residents I found that they felt safe and secure in their surroundings. They felt free and confident to ask for help when needed and received that help in a very timely and respectful manner. The atmosphere is friendly, cheerful, warm and accepting and without prejudice. Now as a volunteer at Heritage Hill I find the above statements still hold true and I see first hand how caring, helpful and respectful the staff are toward the Residents and how comfortable and happy the Residents are while enjoying what H.H. has to offer.

I see real efforts from the staff in Memory Care to address the residents' individual needs.

Moved my elderly relative into Greenfield of Stafford (They have various ones in the area) at the beginning of JAN2019. When I initially looked at it, I went to it unannounced and received a tour, etc. It is a clean, fresh smelling facility. In other words it doesn't smell of urine or "old people". You can either have individual rooms or shared rooms; individual rooms costing more. From your base cost (being the type of room, individual or shared), the additional cost is the level of care that will need to be provided. It is a 2 level facility, the top floor being for the memory loss. There is a security elevator so people can not wonder off. Cable TV is included (basic Comcast cable), phone line is at individual cost if they want a phone in their room. Staff is attentive and friendly from what I can concern; my relative and other residents I have befriended have told me they are treated well and not mistreated in anyway. I have asked staff members if Greenfield treats them right as employees and have gotten the same responses. They have a monthly calendar of events posted and distributed to all. Security for elderly that might wander off or go outside alone and are prohibited from doing so works as well. I experience seeing an elder resident trying to go outside, and the doors immediately locked and no one could get out? We were not aware at the time why we could not get out... A staff members came and took the resident away from the door, and the doors then unlocked for us. They have some type of security that prevented her from opening the door. It was comforting to see that that type of security was in place, had my relative needed it. All and all this facility as of FEB2019 is excellent and I have nothing negative to say. I will revisit the review if I see something I am not satisfied with.

Greenfield is a great community and has lots of activities to keep the residents occupied and active. The staff is helpful, polite, and caring. The facility is clean and the staff responds quickly to any requests. My mother-in-law sees the value in being here and taken care of and safe.

Just about the nicest staff you've ever met. Very caring people- helpful to me and my parents. My parents are very happy there. There are many good activities every day, and great food. The residents seem happy. My one complaint is about the bookkeeping, it's very slow to fix errors.

Excellent, caring staff who keep family informed of any changes in medical condition. Couldn't be happier with the care of both my parents here.

After being in the Heritage Hill Community for approx. 5 months I have to say this was the best decision for my aunt. I was worried she would not adjust well, but she loves it there. I can say, not only is the home always clean, the people who work there, makes it feel like home. I always ask her how the food is, she laughs and says, it must be good, I eat everything on my plate. I, myself am very great full for the care and attention she gets. I would highly recommend Heritage Hill Community to anyone. Thank you all.
