My Mother was in Cardinal Village awhile back and I have to say prior to her going there my stress was incredible, however once I got her settled in her nice apartment with a lovely little screened in porch, almost immediately the staff there took great care of her and took a great deal of stress and worry from me. Since that time my Mother has passed, however I work in the Health Industry so I still go over to Cardinal for various functions and have gotten to know Karen Dixon the Marketing Director there, she is a lovely person who is a big help to families as well as the rest of the staff. I highly recommend Cardinal Village.

Magnolias of Easley is by far one of the best communities we've been to. My in laws have been there for a short time now and things are phenomenal. They are definitely in good hands and happy there. The staff have been wonderful and they are not under staffed in any way. The place is as clean as a whistle and we couldn't be happier with them!

We needed a less expensive location for our daughter who has MS but is only 56, to extend the duration of her finances. Not only does Greenfield answer that need, but it is all on one level, has wide hallways, fine staff, and many interesting activities. She seems to like it and is participating well since entering early in 2016.

My mother has been a resident for almost two years. Trust me, I did my homework in placing and seeking out the best that I could find. The Director is the absolutel best. So very personable and helpful. The administration and staff try so very hard to accommodate my mother's needs. The head nurses and aides are a God send to me many times. Some days my mother's needs are minimal, some days the absolute max! I am a visitor (unannounced) many days and have never seen anything that is a "red flag" to any resident. Please arrange a visit for yourself. Talk to the residents but also talk to the families that you will come in contact with. The home offers activities and events for everyone. Christmas time was absolutely beautiful! The rooms are immaculate and my mother's room is cleaned each day. Monitored showers always and each time my mother receives her shower, her bed linens are changed. Excellent dispensing of meds and my mother's doctor visits almost monthly and is just around the corner. Dentist and podiatrist visits also occur. Great hairdresser on staff and a must for my mother! I have had the pleasure of eating with my mother on some occasions and found the food very good when I was there! Friendly staff ! This is the profession that should definitely get a higher wage. They are worth their weight in gold. So self sacrificing and a much needed and demanding job. I thank all of you for the care of my mother! At times I know it is not always easy!

Things are going great with her. I was just down there to visit the other day. The staff is friendly and kind and the facility is always very clean. They have a great level of care and great caregivers here.

She started in the memory care facility, but Belle Reve felt she was misplaced and so they placed her in an assisted living community and she has adjusted very well, so I am impressed with the staff for noticing that.

Greenfield is a "homey" atmosphere. The building is located on a hillside with apartment buildings behind, a 4 lane divided highway in front and a fire station on the other side of the highway. Positives: Staff is family oriented and friendly. People are clean and not pretentious. Rooms are clean and have bathtubs instead of showers. Most of the clients were friendly to each other which speaks loads of the care they are given. Negatives: really none.

My mother moved in here about two weeks ago. I was very worried that she needed more care than they would be able to provide, but they're doing a great job taking care of her, and she loves it there. They're doing everything for her that they said they would do. She says the food is very good (although she doesn't eat very much any more), and she even played Bingo yesterday, which I don't remember her ever playing in her whole life. Everyone is very friendly. Not only the staff, but even the residents made her feel very welcome. On the day she moved in, there were quite a few residents in the Activity Room, and as she passed they greeted her and said, "You're going to love it here...this place is great!" That made me feel terrific, to know that the residents felt that way about where my mother was going to be living. The first week, we had a few problems because her doctor had written her pain scripts for PRN, meaning she would only get her pain medicines when she would request them. My mother was not used to doing that, so she was having some problems with pain. But I had her doctor re-write her scripts so that she gets her pain medicines four times a day, and that seems to really have helped the problem. They have a LOT of activities every day for the residents, even on the weekends. I know some other places don't have activities on the weekends, and the people I know who live there are really bored on weekends. Greenfield continues activities on weekends, and has church on Sunday afternoon, which my mother is so happy being able to attend again. (When she was at home the last few months, she couldn't get out to church, and she really missed it.) My mother loves her room because it is a very nice size (much bigger than other places I checked out). And it has TWO six foot long closets -- she loves that!) She had lived with my husband and myself for 8 years, and it was really hard for me to finally realize she needed to move, but at my home she had to walk with a walker a lot of places where her wheelchair was not accessible, and my bathroom was very difficult for her to use. At the end, it just got too difficult for her to continue to use her walker. At Greenfield she is moved around everywhere in her wheelchair, her bathroom is very handicap friendly, and she has so much less pain because of that. It was a very difficult move to decide to make, but I really believe the Lord directed us to the right place for my mother, and He worked out all the details.

My loved one has been there for two months. We toured several of the facilities and my family choose this facility because it felt good the moment we walked in. We got that feeling from the first time toured. The staff are all very helpful. The food is good. It is very clean and always smells nice. It has been a very hard adjustment for my family, the administrator and the director of nursing have taken the time out to sit and walk us through the process and that means a lot to all of us. They are so kind.

My mother-in-law has lived at Southern Manor for the past 9 months. The staff is wonderful and caring. She has memory issues, and every one there goes out of their way to meet her needs. Her needs include searching for her glasses and dentures which she hides daily. They treat her with dignity and respect at all times.

My mother has been here since October 2014. Our family is really pleased with the appearance and the staff here. I have recommended this center to friends.

The sweetest, caring staff! So very clean and food and presentation is fantastic. I thank God for this facility and have no concerns leaving my mother who is 94 living in their facility.

Good service with excellent workers and the food is usually good.

My father has been a resident of Southern Manor since April 2015 and has adapted quite well to the regimens of an assisted living facility. The management and staff at Southern Manor are fantastic. They treat residents with dignity and respect and regard residents extended family members as part of the Southern Manor family.

My sister has been at Greenfield Senior Living in Hagerstown for about six months. We looked around at several other assisted living communities in the area. Greenfield Senior Living offers a great activity program with lots of variety. The staff is very nice and my sister always looks good. If I could give them 10 stars I would! One time soon after her admission when I was not able to visit due to illness, they called me every day to let me know how she was doing. When you talk about an extended family, this is really an extended family.

I want to start off by saying how lucky I am to have my loved one at Belle Reve! I was initially devastated when the time came when I realized Grandma was having some memory issues. My mom is her guardian so she made the decision to place her at Belle Reve in the Secured Dimemtia Unit. Again I was devastated because I have heard so many horrifying stories about nursing homes. After Grandma moved in and got acclimated I soon realized that my worries were over. The staff are so helpful and timely. Danielle is very knowledgeable and courteous. The day we met she gave me her personal email and cell phone number. I have to admit I never would have expected that. I thought that at the end of the day the day is over. I have called her on a few occasions and have received immediate feedback. Also the housekeepers are wonderful. They work so hard to make sure everything is neat and clean. I believe her name was Suzy she had a long braid in her hair. She was very helpful when grandma had an incident no questions asked she went right in and took care of all of the clean up. I have to say that I personally wouldn't have it in me to do that. I guess what I am trying to say is I am very grateful for everything everyone has done for my grandmother. Thanks for everything. It is a great place and I will recommend it to anyone who comes along!

The Greenfield of Berryville has been very good. They have more of a home-feel than other places. They have been right on top of things. If you have a question, they are quick to answer it. They respond well. We're just very happy. There's nothing that we're not happy with. The facility is close to a hospital, which is good. My loved one seems to be doing fine. She's disabled, so she's getting a lot of help. That was our main concern.
