The community gives a warm, welcoming, inviting and clean presence. The staff has been very open, knowledgeable, kind and eager to be of to be of assistance, as well as very professional and efficient.

My father has been a resident at Greenfield for over two years. The staff is remarkable and treats him with great care and kindness. It's so comforting to know he's treated with dignity and love.

I am very happy with the level of care provided by Greenfield. My mom has been at this community for 7 weeks now and she is well provided for and happy. She now has a circle of new friends and an active social life, something that had been lacking in her life for a number of years.

Greenfield at Berryville has been very interesting. At one point they seem to have a few issues but was always encouraged how quickly they resolved them. Now it seems as though the place runs like clockwork. My mother loves this community. I highly recommend Greenfield at Berryville to anyone wanting a comfortable, caring place for a family member you love.

I was somewhat familiar with this community as my mother’s good friend was a resident there some years back. However, I was not prepared for the changes (to the good) that have taken place. It is a beautiful place and just small enough to be friendly. The residents appear to be friendly and I could not help but notice that there are several veterans who live there.

My father has resided at this community a little over four months. I cannot express enough gratitude to the staff for the attentive and professional care they have demonstrated. He is really happy there and has made a number of new friends. There really is a feeling of community between staff and residents! Thank you!

This community has been wonderful for my great aunt. The staff is friendly and compassionate. They take great care to make sure she is clean and in a healthy safe environment. The quality of her life has improved so much since moving to this community since she had difficulty taking care of herself.

I thoroughly researched a number of communities before deciding on Greenfield Senior Living At Cockeysville. The home was recommended to me by a friend whose mother spent the last two years of her life there. She said that her mother loved the place and always had a smile on her face when she visited. My sister has now been there three months and could not be happier. The care is exceptional and there is a wonderful sense of community between the staff and residents.

Over the passed five years two relatives have lived in this community. First my Aunt who sadly passed away a couple of years ago and now my mom who moved in six months ago. Overall, we are extremely happy with the quality of the home and level of care provided. I therefore wanted to express my gratitude to Greenfield and the staff at the Cockeysville community by writing this review! Thank you!

Greenfield Senior Living is homely and the atmosphere is relaxed and informal. Overall, a thoroughly excellent care home. The staff are caring and their residents are treated with dignity. There are many activities to keep the residents occupied and the facilities are in great shape and kept clean. My father is extremely happy there!

At Greenfield Senior Living I have found the staff to be professional, supportive and caring in every way. Management is always approachable and willing to assist with everything. Most importantly Greenfield Senior Living provides a high standard of care, not only physically but also socially and emotionally. I would therefore highly recommend Greenfield Senior Living to anyone considering long term care.

I am caring for an elder relative with a pretty rapid decline in cognitive ability. Dementia . 1 year ago I was referred by another residents family and found this pleasant oasis in Sandy Springs. I do not know what I would have done without their assistance and kind care of my Aunt. Their knowledge of the aging process and care of the elderly allows a smooth transition for the resident and family members. It is small enough the she and I rapidly felt at home and part of the community. They continue to be caring to this day. We recently moved to the memory care unit in the same building with the same staff. I was dreading this move but if anything I like it better. The staff really knows how to care for these lovely people who struggle to communicate. Yes, caring for aging adults is not easy. The challenges of hygiene and daily routine are huge. Insignia handles all of this as well as it can be done. I am so glad we found them.

I was impressed on my first visit and in the following months, there has been nothing that has changed that view. The professionalism and care displayed by all employees is to be applauded. Excellent community on every level!

The home now has a new director and the quality of staff has greatly improved. In fact, it is like night and day! I understand how issues can come up in any type of business. However, it is how the management addresses (or does not address) these issues that is a true testament as to the integrity and quality of a company. I am pleased to say that Greenfield went over and above board to alleviate and rectify my concerns and for this reason I am giving them 5 stars!

the site visit went very well. Rooms were very nice, staff were very informative and the residents encountered appeared to be very happy.

I have been volunteering at Heritage Hill Senior Community for about 12 years as a retired Registered, Board Certified Art Therapist. I volunteer there two times per week; on Wednesdays I hold an art class for the residents, and on Sundays I play piano and guitar for the Sunday Devotional Service. I have been very involved in all aspects of the facility. I attend many activities and field trips in addition to my regular activities. I feel uniquely qualified to evaluate the facility. I have experienced other similar facilities in my own personal life, as my mother spent considerable time in an assisted living home prior to her death. Heritage Hill surpasses others I have experienced in many ways. As a volunteer, I spent a lot of time there. Heritage Hill is clean, well kept, and attractive. From my standpoint, Heritage Hill is a facility that really cares for their residents, for their physical needs as well as their psychological needs. Each resident is cherished and respected for their individuality, and treated as such. I have attended community meetings where the residents are encouraged to voice their opinions freely. The employees of the facility are kind and caring, both to the residents and to the volunteers. I have always felt welcomed and appreciated, and I love being a volunteer there. Recently, I was asked by a professional organization I belong to, the Art Therapy Credentials Board, to write an article about what I am doing in my retirement. In the article, I wrote a section about my experience as a volunteer at Heritage Hill. I would like to include a section of that article for this evaluation; it will give those who read it a "window" into what I experience as a volunteer at Heritage Hill. "In 2007 I retired from the Jersey City Schools, and my husband and I moved to a new retirement home in the Pennsylvania Poconos. Naturally, I missed my work, and my students, and I yearned for something that would fill that void. One day I visited an assisted living facility, Heritage Hill, with my friend [name removed], who was a hospice worker. She had come to visit a client at the facility. She mentioned that I was an Art Therapist, and [name removed], the Activity Director, overheard her. [name removed] came up to us and asked if I would like to volunteer there. I have been volunteering there ever since that day. I work with the seniors, men and woman, in art therapy one day a week; it is the highlight of my week. These dear folks are so eager to work with various art materials, and talk about their work, and their everyday activities and cares. We share stories from their past lives and their childhood memories. I look forward to seeing them each week, and they have become very precious to me, more friends than clients. Recentlly we did a tree project, and when it was completed, I took each finished tree, and talked about it. I told them that a tree is a symbol of the self. I excplained how each tree was individual and unique, and represented the characteristics and spirit of its creator ... strong, flowing, playfu, graceful or searching. They loved how the trees told me about who they were. I also use "music therapy" at Heritage Hill on Sundays, and volunteer as Music Director for Heritage Hill's devotion services ... I play piano for hymns and guitar for praise choruses. My art therapy "students" sing along with me and worship God. I accompany my seniors on field trips, go to their parties, and celebrate holidays with them. I have become a part of their lives, and they have become an invaluable part of mine." As a senior citizen myself, the best compliment I can give Heritage Hill is that if the situation arose when I needed assistance in my daily living care, I would happily "check in" there myself.

My mother is a resident of Heritage Hill and we are extremely happy with the care she receives there. Beautiful surroundings and very caring people. Top to bottom. They have many activities for the residents both inside and outside of the facility. The holiday parties - Valentines day, the annual pig roast (was amazing!) Christmas and New years eve were awesome! Definitely a great place for a loved one that needs some extra special care.

Greenfield is a beautiful yet homey facility with friendly and caring staff.
