My tour of this is community was a nice one. The community looked well-kept. From what I saw they do a good job with the cleanliness of the facility. The staff I met was friendly. It was a good experience,

Older metropolitan complex with dated floor plans but property maintenance better than average. Grounds and landscaping attractive. Food preparation/presentation better than average but variety limited. Cramped entry way not particularly welcoming.

We have had a very positive experience with Atria Park. They have a lot to offer. My Grandmother is still adjusting but is doing well and she has made some friends. They do a lot of activities to keep the residents busy. The food is good. The people there are very friendly and nice, the staff and the other residents. The only drawback is that they could use some more parking spaces for visitors. When the lot is full visitors then have to park in the dirt lot.

They only had 3 choices for lunch others while others had 5 choices. They only have 2 slots for visitors parking otherwise you have to find a meter and on Sundays are free days, you can park for free.

The Emeritus at Pleasant Hills is a pretty good place. They are Very friendly and wanting to help you out. The only issue was that the staff was short. I wish they would of sat down with us and discussed all the rules. Other than that this is a nice community.

We were really turned off by the fact that when we toured the community, it had only been open for eight months and the roof was already leaking. The carpets were all wet and there were parts we couldn't see because of the clean up. The room that they wanted to rent to us was at the far end of the hall. We only saw 3 people walking around.

Overall, most of the staff are friendly and do their best to maintain a good standard of cleanliness. The activities are good, and there is a nice variety to choose from. Personally, I don't care for a lot of the food. I'm very picky because of my background in the restaurant industry, so I may have higher expectations when it comes to food. As far as I can tell, the apartments are very nice and well-maintained.

Room was nice and spacious. A little dated. Very clean. Food quality was not great and seemed to run out a lot. High turn over in the kitchen. The housekeeping/aides day and night were wonderful. The nursing staff seemed to turn over a lot. They used a lot it agency. Front door receptionist was extremely nice. Never met the administrator. Walked past her a few times I think j but she never introduced herself even as were were moving in so not very impressed with her.

Rooms are small compared to her independent living room she had. The room itself has some dingy carpet that should have been replaced and we have reported to the staff of seeing a few cockroaches. This is totally unacceptable. The care she has been getting is good but inconsistent for the price we are paying.

My mom is a force and making the best of her situation, but she tells me the food is often very greasy, her room is not cleaned regularly ( although that may have changed as of this week), and the response time to her call button can be as long as 3 hours to not at all ( she now calls the nurses' station). Vitality has location on its side for our needs.

The Care staff, Wait staff and administration make an effort to know your name. Day care staff are good but the night care staff are not so good. Most of the administration are friendly and more than willing to help with any issues except the Medical Director is self focused and not friendly. The food is mediocre at best. Mostly over cooked and served luke warm. There are a lot of activities but not too general in nature. It is very pricey but they had the only 2 bedroom unit available.

The staff was very helpful. The facility was good for the time she needed it, but was pretty intrusive, doors being opened without permission

The staff is great - I have a stomach problem so I can't always get the kind of food that helps. My facility (cottage) is a good size and cleaning is weekly. They’re still working on repairing tornado damage so outside areas are not clean or tidy, but they do cut lawns and trim hedges on a regular basis.

The staff was good and attentive. The activities were good and kept my Mom engaged. The food was not good and the reasons my Mom left the facility. The turn over of the staff affect the quality of the meals.

The attention to detail is lacking. We pay for extra services for my parents that they don't receive.

It's been a bit of a challenging time for aspire with new management coming on board in February. Then the dining hall closed due to a pipe bursting. Then they got new cable and my parents and others couldn't get re-connected for 3 weeks which was infuriating.

Our experience varied over the 6 1/2 years there. Early on it was a 5. After Covid, it was a 2-3, mostly due to staffing issues, kitchen changes, and rising costs. The food was definitely a strength. But after covid, it went way downhill.

What I like the most about the community is Being taken to "medical" appointments instead of driving myself. Playing Spades, Bingo, Bunco off and on. "Lunch Bunch"- they take you to local restaurants for Dutch Treat lunch once a month. Chair exercise. Vitality has its good and bad points.

The staff makes the place. Kind, attentive, and always willing to help. The food, however, makes it difficult to enjoy life here. Meal combinations that make no sense and inconsistent preparation makes most meals a real guessing game.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facility is very clean and well kept also. However, they need more activities. [facility name removed] had five or six activities a day every day except Sunday.
