My overall satisfaction has gone down tremendously with new director. People here are not pleased at all. She has caused a lot of people to quit. The turnover of employees is unbelievable. She can't seem to take care of problems. Air conditioning out in the halls, untrained cleaning staff, turned down at the last hour for transportation. Right now I would not recommend it.

Inconsistent quality of service due to significant turnover in leadership. There has been 3 executive directors in 9 months and 3 head nurses in 9 months. There has also not been an activities director for 6 months.

Sometimes, other residents walk into his room and nap or use his bathroom . It upsets him immensely. The staff tries their best to prevent them from entering his room, but sometimes they are caring for another resident. They actually moved one gentleman to another wing because the situation had gotten out of hand. They try their best. I have found the staff caring and respectful. I like my loved ones caregivers very much. Overall, I would highly recommend Vitality Living Lake Forest to others looking.

My Dad was a very outgoing and personable man. After the change in staff at the top, he seemed to become a little more reserved, guarded and not quite as happy. He was not a big complainer but I did notice change which was why I was investigating a new place. There are some good "staff level" people there that were holdovers from previous management. Both my Dad and I were very appreciative of them and their kindness. They expressed some genuine sadness with his passing and were helpful to me after and my transition of his belongings afterwards.

It's ok but what we were told and what I am seeing I am not happy. Not sure I would recommend.

Professional to client families but care to client some what lacking. My brother said they didn't care how he was handled. But they responded when I got involved. Sales manager takes personal involvement with the new clients, and executive director responded immediately to problems which comes up. There medical team needs work on dealing with very old clients. They need to learn to have patience. Over all best place my brother lived, but only for a short time

There is a lot of construction going on right now and the place is a little not like it should be. I would give about a 3 even they are doing their best to take of us. We are short of servers which does not help and the food improved a great deal. I can't enjoy it because I'm on a low sodium diet. I'm comfortable in my apt and enjoy it. There isn't. Much activities because of the construction. Even though with all that's going on, it still operating the best that it can. Sorry I can't be more informative.

My loved one was previously a resident at Vitality Living Spring Hill. We had a problem where the facility required an outside person to be with my loved one 24/7. The daily cost for outside assistance was an extreme financial hit and we ended up having to move my loved one to a different facility.

I think if you are a well resident, it's fine. They assured me as my mom's cancer progressed that they would be able to meet her needs. This was untrue despite multiple meetings with them. They were short staffed and some of their aides were lazy. There were a handful of employees that were excellent. Once my mom was on her comfort medication, I could never find a nurse to administer it in a timely manner. I truly feel her passing was not as peaceful as it should have been. It was truly awful to see her struggle. Of course after my mom passed, they tell me that hospice needed to write the orders to allow the family to administer the medication. They were going through a company change. I hope the new company makes a lot of improvements.

[name removed] also had Parkinson's and they usually gave her Carbidopa Levodopa at meal time instead of at least 30 minutes before meals. She also had sundowners with her Alzheimer's and was taken to the ER 7 times in 7 weeks. No balance and no memory was a lethal combination. She really needed to be in a skilled nursing unit instead of a mind care unit. They discharged her and thankfully I was able to get her into [name removed] where she was under Hospice and skilled nursing. There are so many things she went through it's hard to explain all the details of her care. She never stood a chance.

My loved one is a resident at Vitality Living Baypoint Village and the experience has been okay so far. The food is not bad. The staff is attentive and better than the majority of other Assisted Living facilities. Suggestions for improvement: update the internet and remove the carpet.

My loved one moved into the facility a few months ago. With a change in management from [removed] to Sonata, the transition has not been smooth. Expected routines and management are not up to par yet. Myself, family members, and my mother are happy with the immediate staff that works with her - nurses and assistants. We are praying that all of the promised services (including routine showers, laundering, housecleaning, daily organized activities, etc.) will fall into place soon. Otherwise, the cost of the facility is certainly too high for the services currently promised but not offered.

The staff was not committed to cleaning my loved ones room. The food started out as a 5 but decreased to a 3 when they lost their chef. Most of the time, the activities coordinator did not show up. The activities posted on the schedule were not truly offered. It's hard to get great service if a facility is in transition. There was a lot of turnover of the staff throughout the facility including administration.

I toured with Traditions of Mill Creek and found that the facility was very dark and depressing and offered very little natural light.

In our experience with assisted living at Vitality Living Spring Hill - everything costs extra, so no weight management for diabetics, and lots of pasta. Also the price went up since last year.

At first our family thought we had our loved one in the right community. However, after our loved one being in the community awhile, we noticed that they were understaffed and unsupervised. We wish there had been better care for our loved one, and the value for the money was better. We would recommend you ask lots of questions about the care, staffing, and more before deciding on a community.

There was a management change not long before we moved in so staffing changes made it a little confusing. However the new management has made great strides in making it a comfortable place with all of the amenities we were expecting. Everyone has been very cooperative and seem to have a great empathy for the residents needs. Very lovely place. Well kept.

I toured this community and it was a nice place. Cleanliness was good, staff was friendly. But it was more expensive than some other options.

We had a lovely tour with Hearth at Hendersonville. The staff were all very nice. The facility itself needs MAJOR TLC. It is very run down and date, it is not bright and shiny like some places. They assessed my loved one and decided that because of a wound, they were not going to be able to care for him.

The community staff turn-over is high. The food is expensive and not that good you have $400 but there is no way to opt out, you can use the money towards the hair salon though but you must use the $400 or you lose it. Most of the staff is very nice and pleasant to deal with. I have seen management yell at the staff before. It wasn't always this way, however it use to feel homey and it is a comfortable place, there's just a couple of things that need major improvements on.
