My father is suppose to be making the move into this community soon. It is a nice looking community, and they been good to work with so far.

We had a pretty decent tour of this community. Everyone was very kind, and courteous. The community appeared to be clean, and well-kept. The staff was nice. We just did not get the feeling that this was the community for us.

I had a very short tour of this community, the gentlemen who was giving me all the information cut it short when he found out that my dad would need more care then they could provide. I was a little thrown off at how quick he was too turn me away and was disappointed.

We went to go take the tour and was mislead. We were under the impression that they had a memory care department and come to find out that they do not. We left before the tour was over.

Since Atria was purchased, it appears the residents are funding the acquisition. This year's $5,000-$6,000+ increase should be built each year's budget for those with a limited amount of retirement income. If the residents received better care justifying the increase, perhaps it might be worth it. We initially placed our parent with Atria and were very satisfied but are becoming much less so. While Atria may be better than many in the area, that is a low bar. Take your time and walk around the entire property, is everything up to date? Do the residents seem ok? If so, god bless.

We toured this community and found the staff to be outstanding. The community is clean and well taken care of on the inside and out. They have a cafeteria that has good hours if needing anything even late at nice. We found this to be a great community and recommend other families if this is what a loved one is needing.

I had a good tour of this community, everybody was very kind and helpful. From what I saw the community was nice and well maintained. Even though we chose to place some where else, they still extended their help out to us. One of the main factors in looking where to place my mother was our budget. Their rates were a little to high for us. It was a pleasant tour, this is a nice community.

I toured this facility for my mother in law. My tour went pretty well. From what I saw the community appeared to be well maintained. I didn't like that it was a two story building. I didn't feel like it was convenient for my mother in law. The staff I came across was kind and courteous. This is a good looking community, but not the one for my mother in law and her needs.

I wont be able to keep my sister at Brookdale Arlington too much longer. She is not doing well. Diane is pretty good. She gives me good information and takes care of my sister. The nurses all look the same to my sister. She cant tell the difference. [removed] Some of the staff are nice and some are not. I don't think I am getting my moneys worth here. My sister is having kidney failure and I don't think this facility can handle that kind of care. One time I had to pick her up at 1:30 in the morning from the hospital and take her back to this facility. There was no staff around to help. The lady that came out and said she was just night watch and couldn't help! So I had to leave my sister in the clothes she was wearing. Overall I am not very happy with this facility.

Not to bad, parking was a major issue and the rooms are really small.

We had a mixed experience with this community. From what we saw the facility itself was beautiful and clean, and the staff were all very helpful and professional. However, a few hours after signing the contract my loved one decided she just was not ready for the move, and we called them to let them know. They told us it would be no problem getting a full refund. For the next 6 to 7 weeks we never saw the refund, and every time we called them they had a different excuse. We eventually had to get the corporate office involved, but we did end up getting the refund. It was a very nice looking community, but our experience with the business office soured the experience as a whole.

Bad parking and long wait for elevator. I thought living room was too narrow in one bedroom apt. we saw. No cooktops in kitchenette, so she would need electric kettle. Only concrete patio area off the activity room or dining room, so no real green space.

Nice staff, but building was noisy and roof leaked after only being open 8 months.

Very well organized and managed. Staff seems to care about residents and everyone was very friendly and treats residents with compassion and respect. There appear to be a number of activities and I saw that residents seemed to be engaged in what was going on rather than staying in their rooms. There are 3 areas - independent living, assisted living and memory care. Staff-patient ratio seemed good. It is an older property, but seems to be well-maintained. There aren't many choices for memory care in the area but we felt comfortable that my mother will get the care she needs at this facility.

My mom is in the memory care unit called Keepsake Village. The positive: The workers are friendly and I think they try to do their best. Residents are friendly. It's clean and secure. They have some organized outings to local places like restaurants, etc. The negative: Medication mistakes happen a lot. Food is not that great--not bad but not great. Rooms are small. I think they could use more workers.

This one's not too good, the service was not that good, the foods not that good either. The employees are crazy, they were missing stuff, like his clothes, they never find his shirt, one lady said she would find it and when we moved they never did. It's very sloppy too, they're not as clean and their activities are mostly for women.

Didn't see anyone happy here! That may have been just the time. They were a little too eager to have me sign my mother up. Their studio apartments are small with no stove or microwave. You have to eat downstatairs. My mom would like to cook for herself sometimes. Look out mainly on buildings.
