Our tour with The Lodge was fine. It is a bigger facility with more residents, it has all the bells and whistles. We were looking for a smaller more personalized facility.

I wouldn't recommend the community to others for their loved ones. They train their employees, but it could be better to make it a more unified caring plan between staff members for the residents. They have low staff currently.

Large complex, polite staff. Apartments: small kitchens, wall dividing kitchen and living room ( not open), seemed very dated style.

We chose Brookdale Arlington because the location was good for our family and they seemed very attentive in their presentation to us and the price was reasonable. We were pleasantly surprised with his room size, it was very nice. He was only here about 4 months, he went in walking and once he came out he no longer could walk.

We did not have a good experience with Atria Park. I dropped my dad in on a Wednesday, on Friday he was in bed with his head and one arm out of the neck hole. He managed to get his arm next to his neck and he was like this for 1/2 a day, so the staff members were not checking on him or giving him medicine like they should have. He was also in the same clothing, with the bathing schedule they should have already bathed and showered him and they did not follow through with that. They have a tiered schedule, they put you at different levels of care and if you have to switch, its $400 more. I believe they mislabeled him for the money. He was here about 2 months and he only spent 5 days here. They agreed that they owed us a refund, they made the check out to him and it needed to be in a different name. When we asked them to reissue it they never did and we have never been refunded.

We have had an issue getting ahold of the staff, the communication between the staff and is not good. The rooms are good, the food is good and they offer a good variety. I would not recommend this facility to others.

The community is very nice on the inside and outside but it is not run well. There are some very nice staff members though. They have above-average room sizes but they have had a lot of employee turnover this year. They have a great location in our community The food needs more seasoning but they have a nice variety.

The staff are very caring. My mother lived in assisted living for two years. In that 2 years her room rate went up 15% while her social security only went up 3%. Right now they are advertising the same room for 35% less than what my mother was paying in May 2020.

The building feels a little like a hotel, the room themselves are very nice and adequate. The food at this community is inconsistent. One thing that stood out to us most was the the location.

Nice community. Hard to judge engagement level

Family own. New and nice still small room with big closets. Prices are not bad. No option for storage. Small parking lot. We've got stuck between a truck and a car, had to wait for the person to move the car. Family kitchen was dirty. Feel and looks more like assistant living. Miss some home filing. No gym. Just therapy. Bedroom has a wall between beds.

I toured this community and it was nice. But didn't have any openings. The guy that gave me the tour was OK. It was an older building and needed updating. It looked dingy in there. We chose to go elsewhere and not wait.

Unfortunately, the experience we had in the Life Guidance Unit was a negative one. Most of the staff was wonderful, but the unit supervisor was dishonest and told our relative that she needed to be more independent. As a result, our family member fell more than 4 times and was asked to leave the facility. We questioned the level of care that would be provided before our family member even became a resident. We were told that her level of care would be handled with no problem. There was never any contact once our relative was transported to the hospital, then to the rehab/long-term care facility. To this day, we still have not heard from anyone at Atria. It saddens us to feel that she was just a number, and she really wasn't important once she was no longer at their facility.

Older facility. Staff seems good and nice. Have a friend who had 2 parents live there for years and they were happy there.

Clean, basic and affordable. Rooms big enough. Has activities. A nice place. No real outside areas to safely walk or relax. Staff is caring and supportive. But seeing signs of learning curve in daily operations because they recently opened. However expect this aspect to quickly be resolved as the staff matures into positions. Overall is safe and clean.

I am a little disappointed in the handling of our scheduled tour. We had booked an appointment about 3 weeks in advance to when we saw the community and when we arrived the person they paired us with wasn't someone who was prepared to help us. It was her first time touring it she was dressed professional but not for the sales department she was dressed more for medical staff. She was unable to answer basic questions. At the end of the tour when we requested that someone gives us a call back that could provide answers to the questions we had it took about 3 days for the general manager to call back. At that point, they are giving me the feeling that they are not interested in my business. The community itself was nice it is on the newer side, however, the rooms were on the smaller size than what we had seen however they did have a kitchen which would have been a plus for my mom. But unfortunately with the delayed response time in getting back to us just made me wonder how the overall staff would respond in case of an emergency.

I toured this community for my mother, and her needs. My tour went well, but I did not feel this was the community for us. The location was too far me to travel too, and the community appeared to be outdated. The experience was a good one, but this was not the facility for my mother.

This place is too dark for me. I need more light around me.
