Vitality Living

This facility is nice.....newer and clean. They have lots of activities that are scheduled. They provide light house keeping. They also have an in-house therapy gym, so no having to leave the facility for therapy.

Vitality Living Lake Forest is worth considering. We've had a Very good experience. The people here seem to care.

One of the main reasons we picked The Hearth for our loved one was because of the staff - the are so attentive and so accommodating to not only the residents but to their families. Not everyone is perfect and there is always room for improvement but the friendliness of the staff and quality care is very close to a 5 star. We have no had experience with the meals ourselves but our loved one does not complain and seems to enjoy it. The staff do a pretty good job with the activities, we enjoy seeing the staff interact with the residents. The only negative complaint we have - is even though we were told to mark all of our loved ones clothes with her name - clothing items are still going missing or she is getting different residents items. However we would still recommend The Hearth at Hendersonville to other families.

My mom is really liking it there and I couldn't thank you all enough for helping me find the place. Of course it took her about a month to like it but now she has friends, goes to morning exercise every day and is involved with other activities they have. She is very happy

They have limited activities and menu. The support staff is extremely friendly, but definitely stretched thinly. The new executive director who just joined has promised to correct deficiencies. We had to move my loved one rapidly coming out of rehab, and the executive director at the time bent over backwards to get her a furnished room, waived the community fee, and did everything they could to get her in there - and that's why we chose them. If we had had more time, we might have focused on finding a place that had better food and activities. But overall I feel she's in good hands at Vitality Court.

The care was good, but the medication management was not good at all. There would be soiled linens in her closet all the time, so I had to do a lot of her laundry. I had all of her clothes marked but somehow they lost a lot of her clothing and we ended up with other peoples. The food was excellent and it did seem that they had good activities for the other residents. It is a very good facility that has a lot of space for the rooms and common areas. They have a nice outdoor covered patio for memory care residents and she enjoyed doing that. Overall I would recommend them with a few caveats .

The community is very clean and the staff and residents are very friendly. The staff is very involved and responsive. Improvements could be made on move in process to be more coordinated.

Traditions of Smyrna, like all of the places we toured, could have been a viable place for our loved one. It seemed like a good facility. It seemed to provide the same level of service and care as the other places we toured. We chose based on proximity to where we live.

I feel like they put up a really good sells pitch to get residents in the community but feel like the care is subpar. The staff communication is about average. The residents receive 3 meals a day.

Overall, this facility has been good so far. It's a really nice place and the people are really nice. It's beautiful and fairly well maintained, the staff has been great also. I haven't had any communication from the facility as far as details and health about mom. That kind of concerns me. I'd definitely suggest better communication with the family. I know it's not a hospital, but I'd still think that I would get some kind of update and feedback from them about mom. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Vitality Court Texas Star is a very nice facility. But I felt like it was too big for dad. I felt like he would have gotten lost even in just the memory care section. And it was a bit on the pricey side. They charge extra for added behaviors, so it is harder to budget.

The Hearth at Franklin is mostly very good but they seem to suffer from ongoing staffing shortages. This has affected the availability and consistency of any extra care my mom has needed beyond medication management. The facility could use additional maintenance.

This is a good community. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff are friendly and accommodating to the resident's needs. The staff communication with the family is good if we have questions. There are three meals a day served to the residents and they have choices to choose from.

The resident rooms were smaller at Vitality Living Arlington than at the place we chose. But other than that, I thought it was great. I just preferred a location that was closer to me and less congested. Vitality Living was right in the city, with more traffic and a more difficult parking situation.

This is my aunt's second Vitality facility that she has been in. She was not happy in the first and loves Vitality Living Hudson. She says she has lots of friends and there is so much to do. She also loves the woods view off her deck.

The community is very close to our family which makes visiting very convenient - that was a deciding factor for us. Even though our loved one does not always participate in the activities we appreciate how encouraged the staff members are to our loved one. Based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend Vitality Living to other families.

The staff and management at Vitality are all very friendly and very responsive to both the residents and the family members. The only reason I didn't give a five star overall rating is because of my loved one's higher care needs. If somebody has a loved one with fewer care needs who is a little more self-sufficient, Vitality can definitely handle it and stay on top of everything.

It is a typical assisted living home. The facility is older, but I know that they are planning on remodeling it eventually. They were just recently bought out by another company. Just like anywhere else right now they have some staffing shortages. The food is many times cold when it is served. Overall there are just some improvements they could make.

We chose Traditions of Mill Creek because of the convenience to my home. Also the needs that my dad required - they were able to accommodate him whereas some of the other places we looked were not. The nursing staff was really sweet. My dad passed there and the nurse on staff that day was very kind to our family. I know it is hard to get help these days but that is true everywhere. The nurses and everyone were great though. I would recommend to others looking.

We chose Vitality Living Arlington primarily because of the location, it is walking distance from everything and they also offer a free taxi service that my dad really likes. It is in a nice and elegant setting - the architecture of the building is very nice. My dad has big bay windows in his room so he gets a lot of natural light. For the most part everyone has been very friendly. We would recommend the facility to other families looking.
