I highly recommend Traditions of Smyrna. It is a beautiful building with amazing staff. There is a full calendar of fun activities and the food is so yummy! The building always looks and smells great too.

From our first tour to moving in the staff has been very supportive and caring. The big complaint would be the food in memory care according to our friend. But other than that she is feeling like it’s home.

Vitality Living has been a God send for my mother. She had be a caregiver for my specials needs brother for 74 years until it just wasn't possible. After 92 years of living, she is now able to take a breath, relax, make new friends, and stay busy as she wants with all of the activities at Vitality. She is finally taking the time to enjoy what time she has left. Vitality is the best choice we could have ever made. What an awesome facility and overly attentive staff. Thanks a million!

Many facilities were looked into, but Vitality was the only 'assisted living' that would accept my mom with her limited mobility. Many were checked into! The family really liked the apartment setting. The staff/home health helped her tremendously move muscles she hadn't worked in years! In her only 3 mos there, she got stronger as a result & began doing so much independently! She left a more expensive skilled nursing center before moving to Vitality. We would've loved for her to continue residing there, but it wasn't affordable since all $ also goes towards my dad's at-home care. Also, we do want to mention the outside of the center incl landscaping are very appealing & inviting (resembled a southern plantation) A plus with me was a special touch that the sales staff did for me when I took my initial tour - a welcome sign with my name on it & I was given a gourmet fruit pie! Staff is helpful, friendly, personable & go above & beyond expectations! Residents don't have to eat the same items & can choose different items from a menu in the dining room. Vitality is very homey, clean .. there's no feeling of it being a nursing facility or an institution of any kind.

The apartments are beautiful, the staff thoughtful & caring, lots of great activities & events but nobody is pressured to participate. A resident can choose to do as much or as little as they choose. The food in the dining hall, if the resident wants to eat there, is very good. My mother is very happy at Acclaim, has made lots of friends and is glad we found this wonderful place for her.

I love everything except the menu of higher priced upgrades they can install later. The facility is very clean. The director is lovely. My mom constantly says "the staff here is amazing". It fits my mothers needs.

They really try to fit your accommodations to your needs. Apartments are the largest of the ones we visited. Milage charges are rather high.

I love this place for my brother. If I ever need this service, Vitality is where I would choose. ?? The residents and staff are so friendly. Everyone seems to know and respect each other. My brother loves the meals. The is always something going on to engage the residents, such as indoor/outdoor concerts along with happy hour, trips to shop or eat, barber on site and the theatre room. Keeps everyone active.

It's a wonderful, beautiful, new facility. Very modern n up to date on the decors , hardware, landscaping and especially the Apts. They are the largest, very open concept , and the large windows in every apt. Give you so much light. Very uplifting ! The entire welcoming living rooms with numerous fireplaces are so inviting . These r places where you can sit, talk , and enjoy if you want to get out of your apt. Overall, it's a very caring , beautiful facility and would recommend to older couples ready to retire and need a little help with their health as we grow into our last chapter of life. It's the best and very affordable. I am very proud, blessed, and content to be here.

They are very informative. Not pushy will answer any questions you have. Went out of the way to schedule tours that worked with all our family members.

What we like the most about the community is the communication and activities. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

The Executive Director of the facility is very kind, experienced, and knowledgeable. The director of Memory Care is hands on and often sits with the residents while they eat and knows them all by name. The Care Buddies are well trained, kind, and efficient.

Communication. Room size. Menu. Activities. Mainly the communication. Everyone there has answered any question. [name removed] is great.

I should tell you my mom moved out last August. There's been changes since then. Lot of activities for residents. Family is always welcome. That was nice. I would recommend.

The place is very clean, the people are extremely pleasant. Both the staff and the residents. Beautiful Lakeview property. Plenty of grassy area if you have pets. One area of opportunity would probably be service calls for maintenance. The smoke detector was chirping in Mom's room she reported it in the morning and by evening it had not been rectified. I ended up coming over and putting in new batteries myself. Another issue with the toilet. Again she let them know at the front desk and in my opinion it should have been resolved before maintenance went home for the evening. I came over to check it and by then it was working. Not sure if the clog cleared itself or if maintenance stopped by. But it would have been nice if they did if they would have left a note that the problem had been resolved. These are relatively minor, but overall I think Sonata at Windermere is the best option of all the places in our area.

So far, I would say a 5. If they could win the accolades of my stepfather, they have accomplished a lot. 5 doesn't mean they are perfect. It means that we have no regrets, so far. Everyone from the property manager to the business manager, to the concierge services, to the residents have been helpful, nice, kind, and supportive to my mom and step-father. The food is amazing. The facility is spotless. Facility is older and in need of updating but they are in the process of getting updates. New Memory Care area is really nice. Old Memory Care area needs a little help. Most staff that I've interacted with are great. They truly seem to care for the elderlies. I would like to see more activities for the memory care residents. All in all it is a well maintained managed facility. There's a lot of staff that have been there for years and have family members also working there. During a recent hurricane evacuation, they could not have handled that situation any better. Staff members left their own homes to accommodate the residents to a safer facility with a hot line for checking on your loved ones at any time. My only concern would be communication. Upper staff members are a bit hard to get in touch with. Another thing is management turn over. My dad has been there for one year and we're on our third Memory Care Director. And most of the management staff has turned over a few times. In summary, I feel my dad is well taken care, safe, and comfortable.

The staff tried hard to be personable and friendly and professional, but, as always in care, more staff would have been great because the staff has a lot of responsibility when in the memory care unit. This is not at all a complaint--I just care about how seriously the staff cared for the patients. I felt my husband was safe and as content as could be expected and that there was a real effort to let me be aware and involved and valuable to his care.

We found the facility to be very clean and well maintained. The nurses and staff were always friendly, caring and willing to answer any questions we might have. We were always contacted about any issues that arose such as falls, sickness or mobility problems. There were also planned activities and celebrations for the patients to enjoy. We were very pleased with the facility while our loved one was there.
