The Marketing Director felt it wasn't a good fit because of my uncle's medical needs. She did recommend Arbor House, which has a specific diabetes program.

Very nice! Would be an option if I wasn't considering Independent Living.

Nice place. Mom has 2 cats though so this won't work.

Very friendly staff - and helpful. I didn’t consider this location since they had the larger studios and apartments - we were looking for smaller spaces

The only reason why I didn’t chose this facility is because the location was not near my Mother’s doctor. Even though I didn’t pick this facility, I was still rooting for them. The woman who gave me the tour actually worked at this location and another sister location. She was telling me about all of the employees who have been here for 10 to 20 years and I was impressed. Brookdale must be a great employer if they are keeping their employees around for 20 years. I like that because it means that the employees actually want to be there and they will take great care of the residents. The only reason preventing the 5-star review is I felt like the outside of the building could have used some work. It was vinyl siding that had a lot of mold on it and all it needed was just a good pressure washing. I would recommend this community.

Great place to live – meet other people, staff is wonderful – so helpful – can stay busy with exercise – crafts – entertainment or just watch TV in your spacious room. The Hearth lives caring people to meet all your needs. I would not want to live in another community. I tell other people about this place all the time.

Good caring staff offers assistance needed for active and semi active seniors. Offers activities, entertainment, nursing assistance, exercise program and many other programs – we have nice private apartment. They cook all my meals, clean my apartment weekly and do my laundry, and other needs. Have nice, clean surroundings for enjoyable life.

Good services are provided at this facility. Everyone is very helpful.

Best reason for living here is the people – both residents and staff together they are my family away from original family. Staff provide care which includes kindness as well as safety and service. I have been here 3 ½ years.

I am very happy to be in my apartment. All of the employees are helpful and considerate to the residents that live here.

We toured the Atria Windsor Woods and it was a very nice community. The staff was friendly and helpful answering the questions we had about what they could offer for my dad. They could not accommodate my dad's dietary needs so we chose another community that was a better fit.

My loved one stayed in the rehab portion of the community for a brief stay. It was a very nice community that was very clean and well-kept. She had a very nice apartment on the third floor. It is a smaller community that offered activities and really touted their off-site activities for the residents. I felt that when we made the final decision for our loved ones we wanted to make sure they had plenty of staff available and that there was more supervision for their care needs.

My sister likes the staff at Atria Park of Lake Forest. I think they are wonderful. She is doing fine and everything also has been fine. She like the activities and they have a full scale of them every month.

This is a nice looking community. They seem to offer some nice amenities. This community has a nice porch to enjoy the outside and an enclosed courtyard.

We liked this community when we visited. We appreciated the administrator. We liked the location and the community was nice looking. My loved ones just liked another community a little better.

It was rough adjustment process for my wife, and her move to this community. She was having some trouble at first, but she is doing pretty good now. I do feel she is safe, but I do feel the staff could be a little more attentive towards the residents. Other than that issue, the staff is pretty good. They do a good job with the cleanliness. There are good activities offered for the residents, and nice meals provided. The location is convenient for me to travel too, and they have good parking. This community is the right fit for my wife, and her needs.

I had recently taken a tour of this community for my mother and I have no complaints of how things had went. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions I had for them . They had a nice activity program available for the residents and I thought the layout was easy to navigate through. In the end decision it was just not the right fit for us and we chose another property.
