Vitality Living

We chose it in 2022 when it was [community removed]. It was highly recommended by your organization, it was in the mid-price range, and it was a 10 minute drive from my home. Many things have improved since Vitality took over but the senior management team there does not communicate well with families, collectively or individually.

Aspire offers transportation and that was the deciding factor for my mom. She needs transportation to shopping and for doctors visits. Based on the experience we have had, we would recommend this community to others.

This place is great. Have had some staffing issues in dining area and among caregivers. Friendliest staff ever. I highly recommend Vitality Court Texas Star.

My visit was very nice. Every body concerned went out of their way to amend me comfortable and cared for. I would definitely consider them if I need someplace to go.

It is a very nice facility but also at the high end of the price scale. Her room started at $[removed]/month and then was increased to$[removed]/month. It is well staffed with capable and friendly workers. We have had however had to challenge them sometimes to get mom to leave her room and participate in more activities with others and have had a couple of issues with lost clothing and their laundry service. No place is perfect and overall we are very happy with the level of care that they provide.

The Hillside Springs community is great. Mom has really thrived there. I think they just use more fund allocation for the grocery/food lists to allow a little better food choices and quantity to the residents

We picked this community because It was a combination of the cost, the moderness of the facility and unsolicited good reviews from a few residents we saw. Also, compared to our #2 choice, the common area was bustling with activity. It was the upbeat atmosphere that won us over.

Loved the community overall .. activities and food are good no care needs , but I think we can do more activities. We have a committee that helps as well as a resident president. The views are great and the staff are extremely friendly and we have a say in what goes on

The facility recently underwent a major renovation to update floors and common spaces. The staff are very caring and take time to get to know your parents. The common areas are great, housekeeping for the rooms are adequate but could be better. The staff from all departments are outstanding.

My dad has been adjusting well. They did promise a lot of construction would be complete by now and those are still way behind. He is getting good meals that he is happy with. His weekly laundry and cleaning service have been great. The only issue we have is his participation in activities, but that is more on him.

There are lots of activities and the majority of people are like family. That's what makes it worthwhile to stay here, and that's what made our decision to come here.

It has everything he needs for the care of his health.

We made the decision to move to Traditions at Millcreek in Brentwood in January. Traditions is working out great and is closer to where we live. She has a bigger apartment and a full kitchen and has made new friends there. She's very involved in all the activities.

They should address their meals and dining. That is not working well. Focus on activities. The Executive Director is a bit stiff.

It's great if you can afford it. Be mindful of price increases every year.

We are sorry to see the dinning issues going downhill, other than that we are satisfied with everything else. Has gone downhill since we moved in a few years ago.

I don't think my dad is getting as much stimulation as I had initially expected. But this may not be specific to Vitality. Maybe all places are like this in the memory care. They kind of let the residents do what they want, even if they don't want to do anything (like my dad). I had hoped they would push him more to take showers, change his clothes daily and attend some activities, but I had to be on them to take care of this. I think the staff mean well and are doing what they can but residents don't get individual attention like I had expected. I have looked into hiring a personal home health aid to visit him since I can't be there and I think he needs more stimulation, both physically and mentally.

The facilities are brand new & gorgeous. The rooms are more spacious. The staff is friendly & responsive. I would recommend to others.

The paperwork, payments to facility and process was very confusing and stressful.

Vitality Living is close to where I live. Family is always welcome to join her at all activities. A bit of a rough start when the call buttons were not working but they finally have it fixed. Allowing her to have her pup.
