The facility is well maintained. The staff members are very accommodating and quick to respond to questions/issues.

They cater to the individual needs of each person. They are very attentive

The apt was what we needed. The help was very good and trust to do what we needed. The activities was interested and kept us busy not board. You could go to what you were interested in Not all things interested everyone. That would be a 4 also.

Staff is pleasant, seem to work hard. There is usually a number of activities during the day. My wife has colon issues and is very particular about what she can eat. For the most part she is pleased with the food. And when she can't eat what's on the menu, there is usually something (e.g. sandwich) they will make for her.

I believe these are accurate based on my experience and opinions. If you recommend Traditions of Smyrna to anyone please use my name to the management if they decide to move here. We have regular outings for lunch , ice cream shop visits, and coffee shop outings. They also take non-drivers to grocery stores, and a $[removed] food allowance is counted in your monthly rent and hot breakfast, lunch, and dinner are prepared for you until you use all your allowance. There is a Bistro in the building that will prepare most anything you would want. Each meal costs a certain amount that is subtracted from your monthly allowance until it's spent, you can still buy more if you want and it will be added to your next monthly payment. in this community if you don't have anything to do it's only because you don't want to do anything.

My friend had to move from the first floor to the third floor because her first floor unit was near the greenhouse, AND an exterior door that was in the hallway next to her unit. This door made a lot of noise as folks used this door all throughout the day and night. It would've been nice to know that in advance of her moving into the first floor unit and save the cost of the second move.

The building is kept clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and caring. The apartments are quite roomy, so a person doesn't feel cramped. There are a number activities available each day to participate in based on your interests. There are trips to local restaurants and other outings. The meals offer some variety and also has a la carte items as an alternative. Overall, Vitality Living is a good place to live.

The office staff, directors, employees and maintenance people are all very helpful and friendly, responding to requests in a timely manner

Really the only issue we have had is with the nursing care. Think they are having trouble keeping staff. Using agency and they just don't know the residents needs. The administration has been to responsive to our concerns and feel they are working for a solution

The Chef goes to great lengths to ensure you have the food you like and will make special items if you don't like what is on the menu. [name removed] in sales is wonderful and will help in any way she can. All staff are very kind but often short staff. We did have many problems with agency staff fill ins. We were in Assisted living then later moved to Memory Care. The staff in memory care went above and beyond to be kind and helpful. The head nurse, [name removed] in Memory Care, actually sat with my mother-in-law in the final minutes of her life so she was not alone.

A few things is the food selection. If your loved one is a picky eater they offer an Everyday Menu that is much better than daily specials. They have a "shared AC thermostat" for 4 rooms. So the rooms can't be adjusted. After my Moms room was too hot (80+ degrees) they installed her own unit that we can control. They do a good job at keeping rooms clean and laundry done. We enjoy taking advantage of the amenities on the Assisted Living side to allow Mom a new environment from Memory Care.

It is not perfect. The dining room is slow. They desperately need more maintenance personnel. Depending on your walking ability, some rooms are extremely far from the elevator if you live upstairs. The building needs two elevators. The Resident Assistants are nice and normally helpful. Housekeeping is okay. For our apartment but wish they could do a little more at times. For us, we like the location for where we like to go and for my driving.

Best: lots of windows: natural light + sky, clouds,trees,seasons, weather. Excellent choice of colors, cheerful and bright. Huge photos of local sights on the walls. Great room opens on a pretty garden with benches and a table and bird feeders. Young multi ethnic staff. The 2 women in charge are dynamite and fired an aide who had behaved unethically. It is [removed]$ cheaper than other facilities where I would not put my worst enemy!! I would like more activities but I understand that with a group of dementia patients it might be difficult. I would like visits from a dog.

Vitality provided a consistent place for my mom to receive her medications and community. My mom thrived from 11 am to 8 pm. She went to sleep fulfilled with accomplishments. At home alone she was scared and hopeless. The most negative thing at Vitality was when the lied about services, food or information. If you don't know then say so because lying always makes you look worse.

We chose Vitality Living Stony Brook because it's a smaller unit, so it felt cozy verses overwhelming. We loved the outdoor area and they go on field trips with memory care residents. It has not been perfect but we still feel it's been a great fit for our family. My husband's father has adapted to his new home well. He's participating in all the activities and enjoys his new friends. I feel like they have had a fair amount of turnover in staffing for the time my father in law has lived there. Just since March 2025.

Administrative staff changes constantly. I am not sure why. Kitchen staff was good when we arrived, then there were issues. Now they have a good chef and friendly servers. The caregivers truly care and go above and beyond loving on the residents. Their activity people truly love their job

Since we were in the independent living area when they first got started, there wasn't a lot of staff interaction or a lot of activities planned. My mom is no longer there, she's actually moved into a rental house, cause she wasn't quite ready for the apartment. My mother-in-law is there now and I think offerings have expanded a lot. I think she gets physical therapy and enjoys the music activities and things like that.

She was in assisted living and memory care 1=4 (AL) 5 (MC) 2=5 for both 3= 5 for both 4= 3 (AL) 5 (MC) 5=4 6=3 7 = 5 for both 8 = 5 Memory Care - staff is amazing. It is a very safe and caring place for loved ones with dementia or other memory issues. Assisted Living - great place for aging individuals who are fairly self sufficient and dint require medical assistance. Lots of fun activities each day and planned outings for those that want yo participate. Clean and safe environment. Administration is very involved with day to day operations.

The staff is caring and easy to talk to. There is a new dietician and the chef has asked for feedback from the residents to make it better - so I expect it to improve. New owners and currently undergoing a major renovation and will be beautiful when finished.

Aspire has a great living experience for Seniors. They offer an array of activities & fun outings. There amenities here are vast for your enjoyment. Gym, pool, movie theater, beauty parlor, dining room with chefs. However, due to my medical condition I am unable to participate in some of these amenities they offer, so I am not getting the full experience here but, if u are an able body Senior this is a wonderful place to live.
