Vitality Living

The facility was great, Sandy and staff at the long term facility were amazing. The apartment was the perfect size. However when it came to getting her into the assisted living side. The women in charge that made that decision was a total failure. She never communicated to me that she would not accept her. And the reason was false. With her not even telling me she rejected her and I had to find another place, quickly. On top of the communication failure I was then charged another months rent which could have been avoided. I fought that charge and again never heard back from anyone.

The facility is clean and the staff members are very attentive and easy to communicate with. Vitality seems to provide an upbeat, positive environment for it's residents. I feel like my mom is in good hands there.

Overall experience is a four stars only because it takes so long for things to happen in all departments, maintenance, and front office but every one is so nice and helpful, food and cleanliness are good and my mom is happy with that, activities are awesome. Apartment six if great, I do know the studios would be too small but my mom has a one bedroom and she loves it and it is perfect for her with so much storage. I should say there are different size one bedrooms so her size (medium of the one bedrooms if great). Overall I think they are just doing the best they can with the staff they have.

Initially the staff and the cleanliness of the facility. However, there has been so much turnover since putting my mom in the staff part is a little questionable.

Sending my mother to Vitality was the best decision I've made . The facility and staff are remarkable.. they get to know each person individually, so all needs can be met . The atmosphere is positive , warm and friendly. Memory Care always has exciting things going on daily , fun games , trivia , surprise milk shakes etc.. .. the staff is very encouraging to get all to participate. This facility offers so much .. anything you are interested in .. just let them know and they will make sure your loved one gets there !

Nice facility and the apt I saw was quite nice. Was pleased that residents can personalize their apts quite a bit. Might return when my son can join me. No timetable for this. The outside appearance is dated and so is the neighborhood.

The place us clean. The residents and staff are friendly. The apartment is nice. The food is adequate. The chocolate chip cookies are great.

Everyone that resides there and works there is very nice and helpful.

Why do they charge for meals when I don’t want them. I’m independent and won’t be there all the time, I travel and pre paying for every meal dose not seem right,

Acclaim at East Beach is a place that I was looking for when I was considering Independent Living facilities. I'm content living here and I'm becoming more familiar with the area. I've made several friends at Acclaim and I play golf, and sail with one of our resident's son-in-law. I take the opportunity to work out with others here in the gym at our facility.

Overall very pleased with vitality. Nice facility, good staff and quality of care. My father doesn't participate in many of the social activities but they certainly have a busy and varied agenda of activities and events. He enjoys the food, good variety and quality.

The staff looked to be kind and caring to their residents . The facility was very clean and organized. I did not like you had to have your love ones in the respite care for two weeks at the cost of $[removed] a bit much if you ask me.

They are kind, caring, and have a lot of experience

Their is a lot of women. You need to have a good positive attitude to get along with others. Food is so so. They do take good care of you and treat people very nicely. They keep rooms and clean and maintain the property to high standards. I would recommend this place to people who need help taking care of themselves.

I believe your organization does a good overall job. However, I think there could be more support for those who are paying the monthly costs for residents. In some cases, family members shoulder the financial responsibility, which can be a significant hardship. It would be helpful if your organization provided information about assistance programs or resources available to support families in these situations. Offering this information could benefit both families and your organization as a whole.

The facilities were nice and clean. However, there was a sense that because of lack of residents there was an issue with the facility.

Be aware of staffing of resident support employees depending on what is needed for you or your loved one. Good opportunity for activities for residents participation. Be ready to downsize as storage is limited. Consider using local medical providers unless you're able to provide transportation in some instances.

I would say it's a great place for your family member. I would recommend to others.

The facility was nice and the people we met there were very accommodating. However , the apartment we were shown was very small. In addition, the Acclaim doesn't offer a full range of transitional services (i.e. moving from independent living to assisted living that we were expecting).
