They do not currently offer a large variety of activities, however they are working on changing this. The food is good most of the time. The community is clean and I would recommend it. The staff are extremely helpful.

My heartfelt appreciation goes out to the staff of this facility! At every experience, a staff member went above and beyond the call of duty for my dear friend.

My mother is 91 years old and was living on her own until a few months ago when she suffered a stress fracture in her leg which severely limited her mobility. I contacted a Place for Mom and was provided a specific list of assisted living facilities near her home. I visited each of them and quite frankly had a positive experience visiting each of them. Given my mom's condition it was imperative that we quickly find a suitable place that could address her physical needs as well a place where she would be content. Brookdale West End was the place we selected. In fact, I took my mother there to visit before making the final decision. The team was great and worked closely with us to move the process along as quickly as possible including completing all of the necessary forms and even suggesting a moving company. To make my mom feel even more comfortable, they paired her with one of the residents so that she was not left feeling alone and isolated. To date, her experience has been quite positive and she has found the staff responsive. I now sleep much better knowing that she is in a place that provides for her needs and a place where she feels secure and accepted. She has enjoyed the activities, the proximity of the beauty salon and the company of the other residents.

I currently live at The Hearth I find the employees at The Hearth to be exceptional. I enjoy the activities, the food and the prompt attention maintenance gives us. I have made many friends here.

The Hearth at Hendersonville has good food and good entertainment. I enjoy watching movies in the movie theater. Everyone here takes good care of me and housekeeping keeps my apartment clean.

I am happy to take the time to write in praise of the facilities and staff at Brookdale West End Richmond where my husband has lived since Jan. 19. Everything about this place rates 5 stars, from the welcoming entrance, the residents engaged with each other and in activities whenever one enters, The activities are not always staff directed. One sees them working together on puzzles, drawing, coloring, feeding the birds, helping to po- lish the cutlery and fold the cloth napkins, Without exception, the staff has been super nice, considerate, helpful. The size of the place is relatively small, and it feels like family.

The grounds and facility here are beautiful and well kept and maintained. The staff is very personable and you ca tell that they really care. There are lots of activities to keep the residents entertained. Overall, a great experience so far.

The staff have been wonderful. We were very apprehensive about putting our Father in a home. He is in the memory care. They keep him very active. He actually participates and seems to enjoy it. He seems to be thriving. So far so good!

So far, we really like the building and also the staff. The people here are really nice and this is a nice, clean facility. The level of care is excellent, the activities are fun and appropriate, and the kitchen staff prepares excellent meals.

The grounds at Atria St. Matthews were really nice. My ability to come and go to visit was very convenient. I could come in any time and see her. The complaint that I would have is they talked about implementing all these services and that never happened before she died. Part of the implementation was getting therapies so she could get stronger so she could get a bath. 2 or 3 weeks in they decided she would just get sponge baths. When she went in the hospital 2 or 3 days before she died it was clear she wasn't getting cleaned in a lot of areas. It was too late to be talking about all that. If they realized that they couldn't fully bathe her they should have sponge bathed her a lot sooner. Other than that I think things would have been pretty good there. I think the were responsive for the most part and things would have been good if she would have lived longer. When she died they were very caring.

I have been very pleased with them. I have been very pleased with their introductory program. They had ambassadors for the first week. They continue to encourage her for activities. They are so encouraging anytime I go in. They have meetings to address questions, with staff, residents, and family. The residents have been extremely nice to my mom. The food has been excellent, they have a wide variety with menus on the table, and grill you can order from. Even the waitstaff have been really good, and attentive. The room gets taken care of twice a week. The medication management seems to be smooth, and they are communicative. They are very quick to respond to a button, and again very communicative. One of the best things was having the option of a one bedroom apartment, not just a studio, so she doesn't feel like she is in a care facility. It's very bright and they have a courtyard. The third floor has a higher level of care. They have beautiful sitting rooms at the end of each hall, so there is a nice place to socialize. They have a happy hour, and a karaoke singer.

While our mother has only been there for a short time, we knew that Brookdale understood the care needed for her. While some days our mom is the mom we always have known, other days it is a bit tougher. Brookdale understands the needs for our mom who still needs her independence on her good days but might need a little extra help or redirection on her tougher days. We feel like we have found a place where our mother will be part of the community.

The apartments are very nice and very cozy and they do a good job in keeping them clean. The laundry service is excellent. And this isn't a complaint about all the residents, but my father talks about the food. I would like to see an improvement in the food. Overall it's a really nice place, and they are convenient and considerate to us.

Overall our experience with Aspen Village at Lost Mountain has been a good one! The facility itself is well kept and clean, and the staff are friendly and professional for the most part. They also do a great job with the food! My only concern is that since we moved our loved one in there has been a bit of staff turnover, and not all of the new people are the quality we were hoping for.

Overall I would say things have gone well so far at Aspen Village! They've been very consistent when it comes to assisting my loved one with medication, movement assistance, bathing, etc. The staff here are very friendly, and it is a very professional environment. One area they could stand to improve, however, is the food.

My loved one has been here for about A month. She loves it. They show up to give her a bath and give her medicine. We are happy with everything. It has been great. My overall rating of this property is 4 1/2 stars. I would recommend the Emeritus at Pleasant Hills. This is a nice community. They are remodeling it so It will be even nicer. It is also very clean and have wonderful staff. The staff and residents are kind.

My husband & I enjoyed every moment of our stay. We could not have asked for anything more. The friendly people & staff. The food, The entertainment everything was great.. We would recommend everyone to go there.

Mom has been at Atria Lake Forest for over two years and feels most welcome and comfortable at this ALF. The staff are very professional and kind. Solid, consistent performance, Overall, many thumbs up!

The staff was very helpful, knowledgable and friendly. It was a hard decision that the staff made easier.
