They’re friendly and they know what they are doing. Overall they’re just really good. The food is great. Parking is a little limited. There are nice outside areas for residents to enjoy. The best feature is that they are very friendly!

This is a wonderful place! The staff is terrific. What makes it more appealing is that each apartment has its own screened-in balcony or patio. Makes for a more homey feeling and is very unusual in assisted living communities that we visited. The dining experience and food are delightful. The Engage Life staff do their best to provide diverse activities and musical entertainment for all to enjoy. The nursing staff are exemplary; concerned and caring folks; we feel comfortable leaving our mom in such good hands.

We toured this community when we were looking into senior living options for my loved one. I was very impressed by what I saw during the tour, this was by far the most beautiful community we toured. Both the facility itself, as well as the location, were very nice looking! However, it was also one of the pricier options we looked at, and we weren't as impressed with the size and layout of the individual rooms.

Appletree Court is celebrating its 15th year. My dad has lived there for 8 of those years. He hadn’t been at Appletree Court long when he made several really close friends. I liked that Appletree Court was near the Richardson Senior Center, but my dad says he doesn’t have time to go over there! He is busy with activities at Appletree Court: Wii Bowling, Bingo, music programs, Bible Study, bridge, and exercises. The greatest thing about Appletree Court is the staff. Several have been employed there the full 15 years!!! Everyone there, from the administration to the caregivers to the cooks to the maintenance crew, are extremely friendly and caring. Dad and I are very pleased that we chose Appletree Court for his assisted living.

Convincing a loved one to move from their home to assisted living is difficult. Agreement is needed for success. The Atria Stony Brook staff has been very accommodating. Since I am the Power of Attorney for other relatives, who circumstances are moving in the same direction, I intend to use Atria again in the future once their agreement is obtained.

Appletree Court was a wonderful place for my mother to live after moving out of state to be near me. The staff and aides were always upbeat and eager to help my mother in any way. Mom felt safe and very happy in this environment. The food was wonderful and the premises were always clean and well cared for. Various activities abounded and the staff encouraged residents to participate and make new friendships in their new home. Activities to include the family at her new home were fun and entertaining. Appletree Court is a family of loving and caring people that provided a warm home for my mother.

After a lengthy illness, we chose Appletree Court as Mom's new home. After a year of star treatment, Mom left to live independently once more, but told the staff, " I WILL BE BACK!" Another year later and a broken hip, without hesitation, Mom returned to AC as a "two-timer." Upon her return, she was so happy to see ALL the same staff, caregivers, and housekeepers. Most of the employees have been with AC for 5-15 years. This speaks volumes! This is an EXCEPTIONAL community with an experienced management team and 5 STAR caregivers who treat their residents like family. They are happy, kind, friendly and go out of their way to accommodate the special needs of their residents. My Mom is happy at Appletree and I am able to sleep peacefully, knowing my Mother is well cared for.

My Mom lives at Appletree Ct. and I am so thankful for finding this residence. But most of all I am thankful for the caregivers who always gently care and respond to each resident and the staff who amaze me with their understanding care and attitude that each resident, regardless of needs and handicaps, deserve compassion and respect each and every day. I would gladly talk to anyone who is seeking a place for the people they love the most.

The staff was their strongest point. I thought they were a little bit pricey. My loved one didn’t really participate in many of the activities. I would, overall, recommend it. The staff was very good. They have a lot of patience and they’re really good people. I had very few problems up there. One of the things I will say is that I didn’t understand that this is assisted living – not a nursing home. It’s a very nice place.

This is a very good community. They have a very supportive staff. They keep you informed. It’s just overall very good experience. They have excellent food . The laundry is okay. Parking can be dicey. I reviewed a lot of communities. This one had the most support for ALZ and dementia. This is perfect for her. They are very patient. With Atria you know what you’re paying for without suprise charges.

Atria Windsor Woods is a great community, mom has only been there for a few days but so far so good. The place is very clean and the staff are all very friendly. They have activities for the residents everyday and even had mom circle all the activities she would like to participate in. This is a place I wouldn't mind living in myself. My mom is safe and even though she has her own apartment she is not alone and that is what we were looking for. So far I give them 5 stars across the board.

I am happy with the community, I don't have any complaints. I haven't heard any complaints about the food either. They are clean and the staff is friendly. I think the value is there. They are quick to respond if there are any concerns. The activities are pretty good too.

I would feel very comfortable recommending them to anyone. My loved ones haven’t used any of the medical services. The staff is very friendly, very concerned about individuals staying there. They respond very quickly to any requests. The staff knew their names right away and they connect me with them. I feel like it’s very safe place and that they could get help very quickly if needed.

It's a wonderful place. They are very clean, and extremely friendly. I really feel like it's worth the price, they do such a good job. They are very responsive. And they do have a good variety of activities going on. When it comes to the food the, quality, the kind and the amount, is plentiful. I really have no complaints. We had heard that it was a nice place, and we just liked it from the interview.

We are extremely happy, she is getting very good care. and all the staff members appear to be crazy about her. It seems to be going very well.

I was impressed that as we toured, the sales manager knew all the names of the residents. From maintenance to dining to reception, all personnel are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They have a great way to ease the worries of us knew to the experience of family members in assisted living. They have answered questions and been most supportive. The facility is utilitarian and pretty. The food and activities are wonderful.

This has been the perfect place. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they are always smiling. And with everything going on, there just isn't enough hours in the day. The place is very clean and service is excellent.
