Vitality Living

The Executive Director at Legacy Village was very accessible in glass office with the door open, and offering to meet with me, in fact - bringing up the idea of a meeting to me, to discuss questions Mom and I had in order to assimilate. I believe the total living experience of an Assisted Living place starts from top management and flows down the chain of command. The Executive Director/Manager/Chief Nurse are one person. Her philosophy is a delightful open glass door policy. She is energetic and can be seen helping out - ie: giving an extra hand in the kitchen, to the nursing staff, and to the med tech staff. When I had a question/concern she - the manager - suggested a meeting with herself, Mom, myself, and the Med Tech Manager. We met and the meeting went wonderfully because her attitude is one of making absolutely sure that her residents are cared for exactly as they need be. The Nursing and Prescription Management have been expert and no 'fumble' has occurred. The Med Techs (those who are most hands-on with the residents) are kind, concerned, and helpful to the residents. I visit my Mom every other day. The caregivers at Legacy will tell me how Mom is doing today, on my way in. When Mom went to the hospital, and I stopped by Legacy to pick up a few things for Mom, they asked about Mom and how she was doing. The physical facility is clean and also very attractive and updated. Christmas is an extra delightful time to be at Legacy Village. The decorations are beautiful. Finally, the food is tasteful and nutritious. Mealtime is especially important to the residents as it is a time to socialize as well as a time to enjoy well prepared food. The Thanksgiving Celebration meal was especially great and the Executive Director, whom I have mentioned previously, even made the Dressing herself. It was sooo good! I look forward to their Christmas meal. I would encourage anyone who is questioning where they have placed their loved one, to not wait any longer, but to look into other options, and make a move for the better! I have found that Mom still has so much to give, and at Legacy Village, she is LIVING, instead of declining.

I would recommend to others. We picked this community because it was located within where I live/shop/am, so I could be close. Clean.

Vitality is well kept. It is very well organized. Lots of activities. The residents seem happy. The fact that there are nurses on staff is comforting. The young ladies that are mom's aids seem to really care about her. She feels care for.

My dad recently moved into Vitality Living. [name removed]was really great to work with, and help with every step of the process. When my dad first arrived, he got a very warm welcome from the entire staff, and other residents. The room is spacious and everything is new. The hallways are nice and wide, and everything is kept perfectly clean. I've eaten a few meals with my dad in the dining hall. The food was excellent, and the service was great. So far, I haven't found any faults with Vitality.

I would value all as a 5 The food has been very good. Dinner hours are 3:30 to 6 :30 but it really is 6:10 because the kitchen begins to shut down and certain items may not be available. I am amazed that dinner starts at 3:30. Old people but I don't consider myself in that age group even though I am. Pets are acceptable with a one time fee of [fee removed]. Plenty of walking trails and a Marina a 10 minute walk away. They still have some building going on.

My loved one went to Vitality Living Springdale for a respite stay. The staff were all very attentive and easy to reach when I wanted to check on my loved one. The only thing that was disappointing was that they were private pay only. I would recommend this facility to others.

Moving my mother in-law from Assisted living to memory care was a very difficult decision. It was overwhelming, stressful and guilt ridden. My mother in-law has Alzheimer’s. She has moments of complete lucidity and days where she’s in a world of her own. During those moments of lucidity she knows who she is, where she is, but can’t understand why she’s there, There’s a lot of anger and frustration she goes through. I can’t put into words how wonderful [name removed] (Memory Care DIrector) has been throughout these exceptionally difficult times. [name removed] is professional, knowledgeable but above all else [name removed] is extremely kind, compassionate and empathetic. [name removed] understands the mental and psychological turmoil that goes along with moving a loved one into this type of facility. [name removed] has gone above and beyond ensuring that my mother-in-law feels safe, happy, and secure. All of the staff follow [name removed] example and are kind warm and attentive to the residents. Knowing all of this gives us great peace of mind.

My ratings pretty much tells all! We chose Acclaim at Belmont Bay for the appearance, and the value. Having all utilities included was a game-changer!

My mother has been a resident for a few months and feels at home. She likes the staff and has made friends. She has settled into a routine and has used the available transportation and participated in activities.

Great location, wonderful staff.

Appletree's staff tenure is exceptional. The Director of the Memory Care Unit, Lakesha has been at Appletree for at least 20 years. The staff are caring, loving, patient & gentle with their residents. Chef has been there for over 17 years & food is exceptional. He listens to the residents favorite food requests. ED is very responsive to family concerns & makes excellent recommendations for resident's additional services whether provided by Appletree or provided by 3rd party service providers.

Vitality- Hudson is a well-managed assisted living facility with friendly staff and comfortable (not stuffy) surroundings. Although a little older, the common areas were recently completely redecorated with modern furnishings. Attractive well-landscaped courtyards, pool area, sitting areas and outdoor walkways with woods view. Suitable for all levels of assisted living (but not memory care). All apartments have screened porch or balcony. Highly recommend.

Acclaim at Belmont Bay Has everything I was looking for and I would absolutely recommend this community to other families. Everybody seems to care both the employees and the community by all means use my name if you would like

My brother has been very satisfied with the conditions at Pine Valley. He always looks forward to breakfast as the menus is his favorite foods. He has been at several places; however, [name removed] has been more contented with the staff, his room and food than all other locations. He also has made friends with several occupants and visits often. At Pine Valley my brother enjoys being close to the stores where he likes to shop for his personal items and a burger or shake of his choice. All in all [name removed]feels very safe knowing that his family is close and able to visit often. Finally, A Place for Mom must be counted as sent from heaven. Without their help we would still be looking for a place where my brother would be contented in a place as good as Pine Valley for the cost just right. It is a smaller place so very intimate. Wonderful people and very helpful. They do not have individual outdoor spaces which is what my parents are looking for Room sizes vary but closets on the smaller side- 9 ft ceilings though, they have activities planned, dining hall and transportation provided.

All has been great at Vitality Living Spring Hill. The location of the facility and the people are what really stuck out about them over other places we looked at. The staff truly take pride in their work.

I am deeply impressed with how friendly everyone is, both staff and residents. The wide range of activities may help with that. The staff does encourage a variety of personal interests. Apartment sizes and amenities offered to residents are excellent.

We chose this community because of the price, the appearance and also the friendliness of the residents and staff there.

We like the sense of community, and the compassion and care they show.
