This looked like an active community when we visited. The person that took us on tour was friendly. The carpets in the hallways unfortunately looked dirty and the community was not pleasant to look at.

The facility was just fine. However, we could not choose this facility for my husband's respite stay because they were not able to accommodate him due to his specific health needs.

It is hard for me to talk about my experience at this community because everything was under construction. They where in the process of remodeling the place and re doing the dinning room as well as other common areas. The staff where kind helpful with the information they provided me though.

The Greene Place has been a great change for the family, but like any of these types of places it cost so much it's highway [Removed]. Your parent(s) work so hard throughout there life only to go through God's natural processing of aging and the people have figured a way to take every bit of their hard earned money. Especially for what little they get in return. Just an example is Greene Place meals. I believe even the [Removed] have better food then they do. There meals should be real meals not sandwiches, hotdogs etc. For the holidays it was sickening what they fed them. The folks that are there or anywhere should be treated and given what they pay for. And that is not the case. They changed hands I don't know but when you have good employees, cooks you don't get rid of them you do what it takes to make it work. You never can find staff, don't get me wrong there are positive and I am glad they are there, but they need a lot of help in making this the place like it used to be. These are someone parents and they deserve a whole lot more than what they have to pay. Would you want to be taken care of like that?

The staff is not good about keeping me informed on what my loved one needs. That is the biggest issue and the only one that I have. The food is good and they give good portions and a good variety. My loved one has gained 6 pounds. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The community at Lamar Court seemed to be pretty nice. The staff that offered the tour were very friendly and courteous. They were upfront and honest with everything. We did not choose Lamar Court because they did not offer the level of care that our loved one required.

Wesley Court's has a very attentive and friendly staff. They have lots of fun activities all month long.

It's dated and they do everything they can with the property.

I was really happy in the first few weeks. We have had a couple of issues since then. In the beginning they were really attentive with communication, and working on a plan. I like the opportunity to be around people and socialize, and they do a good job with monitoring her medically, and recognizing medical issues if they come up. They have a lot of things on the calendar, not everything always pans out, but they do have a lot going on. The food has been enjoyable, with a menu to select from. The dining is done in shifts however, and I believe recently they went from two shifts to three shifts, which can be a bit confusing.

Mom has been at Hope for about one month now. She receives good care; however, she is also in Hospice so she receives additional care. The one outstanding feature about Hope is that nothing ever smells like so many care places do. It is always clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. So far, this move to Hope has been a good experience.

need to know that you have to supply everything, was not informed of this till after move in, a little shocking. very friendly staff.

It wasn't going to work for my mom because she is more independently functioning that a lot of the people there. They needed more help

I didn't feel this was a place for my Mom. It's an older facility and smack dab in the middle of town. The staff was friendly, but I didn't feel like my Mom would be happy in this facility.

Getting pretty expensive. The contract you sign is in their best interest of course. They do have great activities but that is all the bus can be used for they dont do doctor appointments. The pull cords do not go straight to emergency responses. It goes to a desk in the main building which can be a delay. All and all they are a decent place. Just if you are in independent you really better be completely independent.

Planned activities a plus. The help is hit and miss... Sometimes good sometimes not so good due mostly to nurses being spread too thin across too many residents. Nice outdoor space. Building is one level, no stairs or elevators to deal with.

Staff does not communicate well with each other. Week 3 of new resident and last week they still could not get her bedding or personal laundry day done when they told us it was going to be. Lots of activities is a plus. Not sure how often they actually check on their residents

This facility is physically stunning. It looks like something that [Name Removed] might have built during his heyday as a builder. However, there are some areas of concern. First, while it has independent and assisted living facilities it lacks an upward link to the long-term care one that shares its building. Thus, there probably would be an additional community fee charged to enter it. Next, it has several additional monthly care fees that are only determined after a person moves into it and is evaluated by its staff physicians/nurses. It would be unwise to move into a facilily without knowing what the monthly bill would be. Finally, several online reviews praise and express satisfaction with its facilities, but there are also a few that discuss its staff issues/problems. A beautiful facility needs a good staff for it to succeed. It could become an ugly one if it has a poor/indifferent one.

There is value in all of the services and everyone is nice. They leverage many support staff with disabilities which is nice but makes communication a struggle at times. The cleaning staff don't seem invested in the attention to detail as desired but is still a benefit to living there.

The food was great. The communication between the family and staff was not good. [name removed] the Executive Director did not call me back after 3 times I called her.

One bedroom apt is enough room for her. Location is ideal close to her Dr. The food at Church Creek has gone down hill per my mother in law. overall she likes it and I'm thankful as her health is not any better so it's the right choice for her to be independent but have extra help f needed . She has made many friends there and it's affordable . I'm glad she is there to get the help as needed.
