Wildwood is quite a large facility. There were several activity corners for residents. It was difficult to get a true picture of how it functions since the memory care section does not open until next week. Therefore I could not get an impression of the staff and their interaction with the residents. The foresite sensors in the resident rooms was an impressive addition. One concern was the feasibility of have having locked clothing closets in the resident rooms. How and when will they be unlocked for the resident to get dressed or changed in the mornings and evenings? There is also a locked storage cabinet above the toilet in the bathroom - how would that work?

[Name removed] gave a well-informed tour. The studio long-term care was a little small in area. Blue Springs is also quite a distance from my family. Will keep The Parkway in mind.

A good tour. Little concered about the food choices. Ability to have a balcony he can smoke on it a plus.

Seemed a friendly atmosphere. The studio they showed us was not particularly clean, so you had to have a good imagination to determine if it would work for your Mom!! Low pressure presentation. Still have lots of questions, but will wait until we have seen two or more locations.

My loved one moved into a cottage at The Gardens and so far the community seems very nice. The community is a really nice looking place in a quiet neighborhood, and both the staff and the residents seem very friendly and pleasant.

While looking into various options for my mother we toured this property. From what we seen the apartments were a little smaller than we would like. We also noticed that people were not participating in anything. The staff did offer activities with a card game room and pool area. But you did not see anyone participating. The dining room as well seemed pretty empty. They had open eating hours and you didn’t see many people there that you could mingle with. My mother wants people to talk to and she like to be social with others.

Mom is staying here now and I live 4 hours away so the staff and I communicate well if it's needed. They are providing the daily essential needs and they are nice. Mom says the food is fine. The community is clean and I would recommend this place.

Wonderful tour and beautiful facility. Only two handicap units, no 1 bedroom units. Not able to tour handicap units.

My wife and I are very happy here and we’re glad we moved in. I wish we had done it sooner, honestly. The facility is brand new and pretty nice, they’re still adding to the buildings and a new assisted living side should be done soon. They still have little bugs here and there that they need to work out but they’re getting them fixed. The staff is easy to communicate with and knowledgeable about what they’re doing, they keep the facility nice and clean, and everyone seems friendly. It is independent living, so we have our own kitchen, but they serve food as well. It could use some improvement, especially with the service, but they’re hiring more people so that’s being taken care of currently. They offer tons of activities and one of my favorites is chair beach ball but my wife loves bingo. They offer other things like ice cream socials, happy hour on Fridays and usually a singer will come in for that. There are different types of clubs that you can join, they have a brand new pool table, and they have ping pong. Overall, you get a good deal for what you pay. We have a maid service and all of the utilities are inclusive of the one price we pay per month. The only thing you would pay extra for is if you decide that you want an outside phone line for your room. I think other people would be happy here too and I totally recommend it.

[Removed] did an excellent job giving us the tour of the facility. He was VERY professional and the facility definitely chose the right person for that position. What really impressed me the most was that every resident we bumped into during our tour, he called them by their name, that in itself says a lot about him! The facility was nice and would fulfill our mother's needs. Now the thing we are faced with is getting her to make the move. I assumed that was settled when we took the tour but now she insists she is going home. Are heading to an assisted living facility today so we will see.

The staff here did a great job on my tour, they took their time showing me around and they were able to answer my questions. The community is bright and open and the grounds very nice. My mom just did not like the multi levels and did not think she would like it here.

Carriage Court is an older establishment. It was very clean and the residents seemed happy. The staff gave a very nice presentation of their community. We were looking for something a little more upbeat and active for our loved one. It did have a nice quiet feel to this community.

The people we met at this community were nice. The community was nice looking and they seem to take good care of it. They seem to offer some nice activities and they have a jacuzzi. The community we chose was closer to family.

I toured this community and like the staff who were able to answer the questions of the care that is offered. The community was nice and we wanted something with more brightness. The menu and activities would have been good for my mom. We would suggest that other families tour this community for the care of a loved one

The Walden Place community is a fun place with a lot of potentials for my sister to get involved. We especially like staff members [Removed] who have been very helpful to us. The other staff members are very friendly. I really like her room it is very spacious and has a nice view. We are working with housekeeping to make sure it is well-kept and cleaned regularly. My sister says she likes the food that they serve. They offer a lot of activities and provide transportation excursions outside of the community. The landscaping is beautiful along the walkways and there is seating to relax and enjoy the fresh air. I would definitely recommend the Walden Place to others.

My mother in law seems to be enjoying herself living here. She is meeting new people and likes to socialize. She is liking the food. We have found the staff to be kind and considerate and helpful. The landscaping is nice kept very well maintained and the inside is always clean no issues with it being dark. The temperature seemed to be just right not too cold or hot.

I like my apartment here at Mallard Point. The apartment only comes with a refrigerator and a sink. This is a large community and the staff do the best they can. The food is fine and I am learning my way around the area. If you are looking for independent living than this community is a good place to start.

I had a good tour of this community. I toured it for my mother, and her needs. The community was a nice looking, everything looked great. The staff was welcoming, and kind. They were informative, and my questions were answered. The experience went well overall.
