I think that the memory care workers are better and organized more in memory care as compared to the assisted living. Try to show up and be there as often as you can because I feel that improves the experience as a family member. Its not perfect but its high quality.

I do have some reservations in regards to response time to request. The staff were not trained as well as it was portrayed that it would be for taking care of a dementia patient. The literature stated special training and there was no obvious showing for everyone that they were specially trained. There were a few people who were outstanding but majority were average. My loved one ended up on hospice and the coordination between hospice and the facility were very limited. There were a lot of restrictions for hospice. I would not recommend this facility when it comes to a hospice need.

Our family was able to do a virtual tour with The Bouldevard Senior Living community and we thought the tour was fine.

The staff members here at Montvale Estates are very friendly, and we get three meals a day which are not bad at all. The activities are great, there are several things each day for us residents to get involved in.

The food was good. The residents seemed to be happy. The staff seemed to be friendly and caring. The dining room was clean, and if my loved one wasn't able to go to the dining room, the staff would check on my loved one and deliver the meal to her.

This community was a whole package it had and has everything we needed and wanted.

The community is neat and clean and the staff is very friendly. I would like to see more variety with the activities. I would recommend this community for independent living based on my experience

Overall we are happy with the community although they can seem unorganized at times. They keep the community clean and the staff is very friendly. My loved ones say the food is good and they have some activities available,

Overall, it's been a good experience, just some hiccups early on. They said that they would put our loved one's headboard onto her bed and put her TV up. We went back a month later, and neither of those things had been done. So I wasn't overly impressed with the maintenance staff that was supposed to do that. There were a couple of occasions with Covid going on where there was confusion about visitor protocol. It seemed to be a problem with internal communication about what was allowed and what wasn't, so there was no consistency week to week when we would come to visit. When she first moved in, we saw our loved one walking around with someone else's glasses on and had to keep asking them to get those swapped back out. But there's been nothing really major. For the most part, the staff and the care she receives from them has been very good. We saw our loved one finish her plate at dinner the other day, and she told us it was good. They do fairly well with activities. I've seen her do some woodworking projects. And tey have e Facebook page that's private to the family where they post pictures for us to see.

My loved one was there for a short amount time before having to move out of the community. The staff were pleasant. I asked for a spot to be mopped and it wasn't mopped before leaving. They have a chef prepare meals for the residents.

The community is neat and clean and the staff is very friendly and so far have done a great job. The food is good and they have lots of activities available for the residence. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

The staff is friendly and the community is safe and clean. I feel that if your loved one is social and able to communicate then this might be a good community. The staff is nice and friendly and they do have activities available.

I would tell others looking into Vitalia Senior Residences of Stoe that the socialization is great and people are so very friendly. If you ask anyone who lives here they would tell you the best thing about the place hands down are the residents. It has been a good experience and I would recommend.

My loved one was only here for 10 days and had to come back home. They tried to charge us for the full 2 months but after speaking with them they dropped it one month. The community was very clean and the food was amazing. I would recommend this community to others.

The help was good. Everybody there was great to work with. The food was not good. You didn't have a choice, and you got very little. It was a great place to live other than the food.

In person tour with [name removed]. Very helpful. Very few residents seen during visit. Still post covid but seemed very empty. Was not able to assess dynamics/state of residents.

The Monday through Friday day shift care givers were better than the weekend or night shift care givers. I ended up having to hire a personalized caregiver overnight for my loved one during some medical conditions. Housekeeping and kitchen staff was better than the weekend and evening caregivers. The chefs provided good food. The memory care side activities were not as much fun than for the memory care residents than the other areas of the community. They have a new activities director that was trying to do more with the memory care residents.

Recently it has been harder to get responses to our phone calls with questions or concerns about my loved one. This is different from the beginning when we were getting communication regularly from the community.

During the pandemic the residents did have a lot more freedom then other communities. They could improve on the house keeping, sometimes when they go into the residents room they do not do the things they say, and the kitchen staff can be pretty rude.

My mom has lived at Carriage Court for 1.5 years. Before Covid, the staff did a good job caring for her. There were plenty of activities for residents to do. The food was good. Since Covid, they’ve done as good of a job they can with what they’re dealing with. I feel staff goes over and above to help the residents get through this tough time. They’ve had to adjust everything and make changes. My mom has dementia and has to be told over and over what’s going on and they are so patient with her. I appreciate how safe they are being and keeping the residents and staff healthy.
