Mom is thriving at the Parkway. Having someone check on her daily is a relief. She is socializing again and doing well. Staff are terrific. Getting information from the administration can be difficult as emails can go unanswered. It takes more than one interaction to get questions answered and maintenance requests may or may not be completed. Wonderful care for mom, though.

Facility was fairly new when my Mom moved in an experienced damage from freezing water pipes. This was slow to repair but once done - beautiful facility. Receptive to resident and family. Very supportive. Positive changes have been ongoing to improve Pinnacle Groves for their residents

They were great. My father just needed more care after a stroke. He did wish there were more activities that suited him as an avid outdoorsman and sports fan. Apartment sizes and amenities offered are fantastic.

People are very nice, thorough, and attentive to your needs. Occupants are friendly and nice. Seems like a good community. Meals are generally good but high variation is present in a given day’s presentation. Activities are good and pretty well attended. Nurses seem good.

Staff is super friendly and goes the extra mile if we need some info or assistance. The apartment is nicely laid out with plenty of room to maneuver with a walker and the kitchen is upscale with newer appliances and easy access. The food in the dining room is very good, plenty of options and specials and the opportunity for flexible dining, versus ridge set times, is so accommodating and welcome. Mom loves it here!

My mom and dad seem to be comfortable and happy with the facility. The one drawback is they say there are activities but every time I am there I don’t see anything going on. Also the gym only has 2 pieces of equipment to use.

From what I have seen visiting my mom there I would have to give a 4 to everything. I don't know much about the food part but mom says most of the time food is good. She isn't into all of the mixing vegetables together. She has enjoyed her staying there. Staff is friendly and willing to help however they can. Rooms are perfectly sized for a single person to live comfortably. Plenty of room.

Pay as much for a single room that I did for a private. Disappointed in price. We like the manager of the unit changing hands to a new one. The aides really care. Clean facility. There only till 7:00 to answer phones. Can't call directly.

When it comes to the care services, through the day-night shift gets a 2- was understaffed. The nurses during the day were beyond phenomenal- [name removed] was fabulous. Very clean and a lot of activities for residence to partake in!

They love it there and don't plan on leaving ever. One time the restroom in the hall was dirty it was over the weekend. They have since changed when and how often they are cleaned. Sometimes when they go to eat all the tables are dirty. I feel they need more help in the eating area. It has been very friendly from the first visit. They are not needing much care. However when there have been issues with the toilet etc they take care of them well. They have changed protocol on how to get help over the weekend if needed. The administration are all wonderful people. There has been some turnover throughout the year but everyone listens to concerns and make changes as necessary. The food is ok. A lot of the dishes are not what my father grew up eating and mom is having trouble sometimes finding something he will eat. The biggest problem is lack of servers to accommodate the number of residents. It often takes close to an hour from the time they sit down to when their food is served. There are plenty of activities and mom is helping to lead one of them. She would do more but it won't work with my dad at this time. The place is beautiful. The staff are good. I believe the cost is comparable to other places nearby. When they fix the dining issues it be fabulous.

The food service promised has not always been delivered. There has been a problem hiring/keeping kitchen staff. Also, the place is new and having "growing pains." I expect things will get sorted out in due time.

Overall, it’s a great place. I would recommend Vitalia. I picked them because of the location, services offered and availability when needed.

Full-time staff are pretty good, but when they send agency workers to work with them, not so good.

They are attentive to the residents needs and medication administration. I do believe they provide overall good care. They could improve on including more residents in daily activities; not all residents understand their calendar or the codes on the calendar. When asked to provide reminders, they update your 'care points' (monthly fees). It would be helpful to get a monthly detailed report of these fees with your monthly invoice.

The staff was very nice and caring, and the facility was clean. However, they could improve on the food service, it was understaffed. Based on the experience we had, we would still recommend Brookdale West County to other families.

The facility is very nice. The staff is nice. My only complaint is the meals do not have the variety they did when mom first moved in and the activities are limited. My mom has asked several times about adding WII bowling. They told us they have a WII but there are no activities on it. Also the church service that is supposed to stream every Sunday never does. My son would be willing to set up the WII bowling if they would like to add that activity.

All employees are willing to help. You can pick your own rooms size Meals are wonderful-you can eat as much as you want between 7am-7pm. They also have snacks and beverages available 24/7

The staff is great. They're really responsive and they keep us up to date. The facilities are nice and clean and they encourage the residents to participate in activities.

The buildings are all new, comfortable and have a lot of natural light. The food quality is excellent and served restaurant style with many choices. My mother is in the assisted living program. The nurses are very nice and manage the medical issues. They have a doctor, nurse practitioner physical and occupational therapists available in-house which is very convenient. The other residents are also very nice and have been friendly to my mother. Overall, my mother is happy there and we are pleased.

The staff is friendly and eager to help with appointments and assembly or repair of stuff. When it comes to the friendliness, the care and the food most of the staff is great. The food service is dicey. The first few weeks of our loved one being there, they were given no options of food which were delivered to the room is Styrofoam or plastic containers and sometimes cold, without salt and pepper. The wait staff in the restaurant, once it opened, needs to provide a written menu for every meal because they are not friendly enough to repeat the options the multitudes of times required for our loved one to understand due to being hard of hearing. The food is not horribly bad except they have had staffing issues which left them without a chef for at least a week & a very limited menu options that my dad hated. They claimed that breakfast is an option anytime during food hours (7-7)but now they offer no eggs (no over easy, scrambled, or otherwise) & no french toast option. Offering cereal is about the equivalent of shoving a box at a teenager & not the type of services expected at this price. Also wait times have been exceptionally long to order & get food. I have no way to verify how often this happens- could have been only a few times in a busy week or more. They haven't offered a written menu of options for many weeks now & when dealing with people like my loved one with hearing issues he needs to see a menu. The management is responsible for overcoming supply & staffing issues in a timely manner. Management needs to fix the staffing problem for offsite activities as more frequent thought provoking outings were implied.
