So far they've been great! The staff is supportive and has been working with us quite a bit to care to our loved one's specific needs. They're very friendly and very helpful. It's a really nice facility, and very well-kept. It's light and bright. I like that they mix the assisted living residents with the independent living residents, so the assisted living residents aren't shut off in a corner by themselves. They're all treated as part of one community.

Vitalia was a brand new facility when we toured it, you walk in and it feels like a 5 star hotel. It did not feel homey like we were looking for. The price is a base price plus add and that can get very expensive fast.

Our tour at Carriage Court was very good. It was during Covid times, but they were very accommodating. All in all, the places we looked at were pretty much equal - it came down to location more than anything else.

We are having a good experience, my dad is happy here at The Gardens at Arkanshire. The thing that really sticks out about them is it is more like a retirement community, there are less rules and more flexibility for residents to do what they please. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

The kitchen staff are amazing and take great care of my loved one. However, the front desk staff are not the best communication wise. This is a nice safe community for seniors, it is a very comfortable setting. However, make sure you are on top of communication with management.

Our tour experience at The Madison was okay. They just weren't quite as friendly and didn't have the same kind of vibe that we got from the place we ended up choosing.

I liked The Boulevard. One of the things I liked was they had a security system that learned your family member’s habits so they could provide better care. For instance, it could notice if your loved one was going to the bathroom more often and might have a kidney or bladder infection. It could notice your loved one prone on the floor and know they had fallen down and needed assistance. I really liked the system that they had. I also liked that they give family members fobs so they can get in the doors after hours, and swiping the fob automatically checks you in. The person who gave us the tour was very energetic. One of the only drawbacks was the long hallways. It was just a big facility, and we got lost once we got in there.

The reason the meals and dining service got a low rating is because they are shorthanded, but we do understand that is like a lot of other places currently. However the staff that are there have gone above and beyond to step in and pick up the slack. They are really trying to make it work and still make the experience for the residents a good one. The community is nicely decorated and well put together. It is very welcoming, inviting, newer and the amenities are nice. The rooms are built for what they are being used for - like the movie theater room is built like a movie theater and not just a room put together. It is really state of the art.

Our family had a virtual tour and we liked it but it was just going to be to big for our loved one. They were starting to show signs of memory loss and we did not want them to be confused or overwhelmed in a big community.

Our family had an in person tour and it was fine, the impression we got is that it is an older styled facility. The staff were really nice and outgoing but we did not really seem much engagement with the residents.

It is covid times so obviously things are different and they change quite a bit, there have been quite a few staffing adjustments. My loved one is on hospice and has been since she has moved in, there has been some confusion between the hospice staff and The Boulevard on who does what. But for the most part we really like it and she seems to be happy here, she has made some good friends that she goes to activities with.

Our families first impression of The Boulevard was that it is very home like and does not feel like a medial facility. Based on our experience so far we would recommend them to others.

The community / staff at Walden Place is great. I am overall very happy.

I have lived at Walden Place for 7 years and really like it here. The residents are all very friendly and welcoming and the staff is always there if you ever need anything.

The Boulevard was our second choice, I think it would have been a great place for my mom to live. We went with another facility because it had slightly more activities provided which was something that was important to us.

The food is horrible, the food comes out cold. I have to ask for condiments for sandwiches. The staff is young with a lot of turnover. I would encourage you to shop around. There are a lot of activities offered.

Our family had an in person tour, now it was awhile back but we do remember it being a very nice facility. We ended up not choosing The Boulevard because the value was just to out of our price range.

The lady that we talked to was such a sweet person. The Kentridge seems like a wonderful facility from what we were able to see. They seem to specialize in earlier dementia residents rather than ones who are further along. The location was also a little too far for our family.

So far the community has done a good job caring for our loved ones. We feel safe with our loved one here. the community is kept very clean and neat. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience so far.
