I would recommend the facility. The only downfall is there is just one small elevator. Lots of residents have walkers, so it gets fairly crowded at times. For any place, I would recommend good communication with the staff regarding concerns that the residents or family might have. Having a tour/meeting to discuss everything available to the resident would be good.

The interior needs an update. However, people are very friendly and it's very clean. Besides needing an update- I think Montvale is a good place.

Based on what I currently know, I believe most homes in the area are receiving the same amount of retention and appreciation of well trained aides. Partly due to local and corporate management. The food is marginally better than my previous facility. They are going through some staffing issues, at all levels. They also no longer have a way to accept credit card payments.

The food is exceptional and the kitchen staff are accommodating and nice. The amenities that Vitalia offers are beyond any other facility that I toured. The Forenight infared camara in the residents rooms have alerted the staff immediately when my mother has fallen. It's been a game changer and so reassuring for our family. Sometimes the communication/questions gets lost and we don't get answers. That would be the only constructive criticism I would have with Vitalia. I'm sure that happens with most places though. The overall facility is very clean, inviting, beautifully decorated and welcoming. I feel that they could do I better job in my mom's room with cleaning. Even though my mom still refuses to participate in the activities, there are wonderful opportunities for her when she does. The nursing staff is exceptional. The head nurse is approachable and knowledgeable. The floor nurses are kind, compassionate and have attended to my mother's needs. Overall we are thrilled with our decision to place our mom in Vitalia.

Based on the experience we have had so far with Pinnacle Groves community, I would have to say I like the individuals who work there more than the community.

I can't say that we've been really happy or unhappy with the community, but my dad complains about the meals and the lack of grab bars in the shower. They seem to be really short staffed and have sometimes been out of basic food items.

The intake experience was exceptional. People are friendly, the facilities are new and clean. I would say that they've had some surfacing issues and as a result, haven't been able to deliver on all that they committed. However because it is so new, we expect these things to improve.

My mother-in-law STILL doesn't have cable and now they're saying it's going to be satellite tv. We've been to a couple of happy hours and apps were delicious. Haven't experienced any "meals" yet. Can't comment on the activities really...the only thing I've been to is to attend happy hour

I moved my dad to Montvale during the last part of September 23 after meeting with [name removed]. [name removed]was amazing with my dad and I. This has been a very difficult time for our family and I have been very overwhelmed. Every time I have reached out to Kim she has put my mind at ease and has been a real God send for me and my dad. I feel very grateful she is there watching over things.

Friendliness of staff, the community itself - it a clean and beautiful facility, and the location is very convenient. They also have a lot of activities for the residents and often have activities that include the families.

I toured Rock Creek Senior Living when searching for an Assisted Living facility for my loved one. This facility was quite nice. It is a bit more updated than some of the other facilities that I toured. However, it is also more expensive. Ultimately, they didn't have availability when I toured, so I continued on with my search.

Ask many questions. Read the lease. Visit the kitchen and talk to the (Chef). We picked this community because it was convenient to hospital stores. And it's real pretty.

I kept a stiffer there so I could clean the floors sometimes. Everyone was always friendly. For the most part he seemed to get good care. He usually wanted to eat in his room. Couple times they forgot to bring him food. Meals were ok. Not great. He was in a wheelchair plus couldn't hear so mostly stayed in his room. They took him to a few activities. Hospice visited with dogs. He loved the music lady who sang with him. Wasn't impressed with the spiritual person. Disappointed that the facility didn't have church services. Think that was a fallout from Covid. It was lots cheaper then when my mom was in memory care at [name removed]. Also helped that I got a discount for being a Univ of Mich retiree.

What I like the most about the community is the communication between the nurse line and the staff as well as their willingness to always help and be there for our family. Our loved one loves the food too! They treat my mom with so much love and kindness.

I would recommend! The tour experience was really pleasant and informative. We picked this community because of staff knowledge and friendliness, the accommodations and location.

We had a good tour experience with Montvale Estates. The main reason we did not choose this facility for our loved one was because they did not offer a kitchen in the apartments. It was just a small refrigerator and that was not going to work.

The staff members here have been very accommodating to our individual needs. They are open to new ideas from the residents, especially for new activities. Hard to say how they could improve the food. I think it was mostly related to short staffing from Covid fall out. Otherwise I do think the menu could be a bit more healthy. Especially for that age group. I would highly recommend Vitalia at Solon.

What we like most about The Boulevard of St. Charles is that the community is clean and it has everything you could need. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families looking for a place for their loved ones.

Facilities are excellent. Staff genuinely cares, but they are short staffed. Management is mediocre. Overall a nice place, but you will have occasional frustrations.

So far our experience has been a positive one. My mom only complains about the food, but that's normal. Also, they are expanding the building...doubling the size, so they aren't sure how it will impact some of their activities and the food scheduling.
