When I walk into Clyde Gardens, I’m greeted with a hello and smiling faces by staff and many residents. I’ve watched the staff interact with residents and they are always kind even when resident is not so kind. I have had the privilege of interacting with two different directors, several nurses, several aides, cleaning and maintenance employees. They have all been gracious, understanding, caring for the resident that I am affiliated with. My husband and I have recommended this assisted living to several friends.

The director was great and overall clean and good. Mom complained that food was not good. Mom got sick and we had to move to higher level care. The RN at Russ was not my favorite. During my crisis week did not think she had good people skills. 4/5 is rating. Only had 6 weeks there.

The staff was wonderfully and always there to help with Mom. Shortly after she was admitted she took a turn for the worse. We had to bring her back with Hospice. My only complaint is that the administration stopped communicating with the family. They wanted her moved to skilled nursing. She came back on a Thursday and had family and Hospice with her around the clock. She passed on Monday.

The food was very traditional over-cooked or fried, not many, if any, fresh fruits or vegetables at meals. Not enough food for someone walking each day. They didn't have seconds so I had to supplement most meals even after their own staff requested more food for this person. The staff were kind and caring.
