Trustwell Living

So far my experience with Sawyer House has been a good one! It's a clean, friendly place, and my loved one seems to be enjoying himself here. I'm pleased with the place overall, and I would recommend it as being worth a look if you're looking in the area!

For the most part everybody is very nice. I think they do care about the residents. There has been a couple of things I had to address. For the most part it has been pleasant. My relatives also think that as well. They have all kinds of levels of care. They seem to do a good job balancing them out. I don't have any major complaints. For the most part I'm happy with it. My mom was mad when we first put her there but they turned her around. She is very happy here now.

Since we moved our father into Cimarron Place he has gotten the best of care. The staff has been very helpful with any and all of our dads needs. I would recommend Cimarron Place to everyone.

They help me with transition and are very caring and supportive

I had a wonderful christmas dinner with my family and many other families who came to visit their loved ones on christmas day. I was impressed by the atmosphere in the facility and we all sang christmas carols and the meal was very well prepared. Kingwood has truly transformed itself from what it used to be and am thankful that my dad is in a good place. Thank you for taking care of my dad!!!!

We were scrambling to find a place for my Father -in-Law to live when he was released from the rehab center. He is in KC and we are in North Carolina. Allyson at Bickford was fantastic! Aways available by phone, even after hour. She got everything set up so all I had to do was come to town and move his belongs and make sure he was comfortable. He was very pleased with his new home. The staff is very caring.

The staff at Cimarron Place is the best. Everyone I have met is friendly ,caring and interested in caring for my mom.. I was concerned about moving my mom from another facility to Cimarron. Change is hard for everyone especially as we age but with the great staff and the great environment she loves it there.. Thank you Cimarron Place and a Place for Mom .. We had to find an assisted living facility in a one-week period of time for our Mother and toured many places. Oak Creek Place was the BEST of all of the local facilities around the South Milwaukee Oak Creek vicinity. Pam and Richard were extremely helpful and our Mom needs a high level of care right now. She is adjusting well and it's an absolutely lovely facility. Every area was clean, neat and the dining room area is stunning. We are hoping that Mom becomes more active than she was being home bound for the past four years. I would highly recommend Oak Creek Place.

My 97 year old father-in-law recently moved to Oak Creek Place. While he initially had some trouble adjusting to the changes in his routine, the entire staff has gone out of their way to make him feel welcome and comfortable. He is now happy there and our family is relieved knowing he's in good hands.

Our loved one has only been here a few weeks, so my feedback is just based on her short time here, but so far they've done an excellent job! I'd give them high marks across the board. We liked that it is on the smaller side, and we just felt like it would be a good match for our loved one's personality.

I am tickled to death with Bickford! They take animals. They're very pet friendly and I think pets are good for older people. My mother is not impressed with the food. She said they don't give much choice. Where she was before, she didn't get involved in the activites. They had a person come in and do balloon animals and she knows something about that so she enjoyed that. She's in the hospital right now and she's looking forward to going back to Bickford. When I visited I didn't tell them I was coming; I just walked in the door. They were very friendly and helpful. They even helped with getting mother's furniture from her house.

My mother loves her apartment size she says people are friendly sometimes I find it difficult to get a hold of someone. I only wish they would help people with dementia get signed up for activities since they seem to forget other than that it's a great place

Trustwell is a great place. The building is clean, modern, and nicely decorated. The residents are wonderful and welcoming. The staff greets everyone by their name and they are pleasant and graciously helpful. The rooms are a decent size and are clean and modern. Rooms are cleaned by staff every week. Trash is picked up by staff daily. Laundry is also done weekly and delivered back to your room the next day clean and folded. The food is delicious are varied. Three meals every day. Breakfast includes pancakes, waffles , Eggs Benedict, eggs anyway you prefer, coffee, tea, numerous juices, fruits, bacon, toast and I assume cereals but I haven't seen anyone eating cereal. Lunch is also excellent and varied. Soup of many kinds to start. Then a variety of different foods. The food is like a dinner serving and includes sandwiches, various pasta dishes, meats, fishes, vegetables , French fries and drinks including juices, sodas, lemonade, milk, coffees, and teas. The menus change daily but they are creative and thoughtful. In addition to the daily menu there is an extensive separate list of food alway available to order. It includes strawberry salad, turkey sandwich, a bacon cheeseburger, a large meat pizza, fish and chips, and others I don't remember. Dinners are even better. Steak Diane, roast beef and roast pork so tender you can cut it with a fork, pastas with meat sauces and cheeses, meatloaf, and numerous other excellent dishes. This chef does an excellent job of offering an excellent variety of food well prepared. Plates are often heated to keep the food warm.

[name removed] seems to be happy there for the most part. They have had a LOT of turnover at the manager position. [name removed] sometimes complains about the food, but says they usually correct any problems. Other than that, everything seems fine. She does some activities and outings. She has a small 1 bedroom apartment and its clean and plenty big for her.

I'm growing very fond of my new little apartment. It is small but I have everything I need and want. The staff is good. We are going through a staff shortage at this time but everyone has stepped up to help in all areas so we get our pretty good meals. The staff is attentive and answers calls quickly. Very nice, sweet and caring people. [name removed] and [name removed] are especially helpful in my new settling in. Laundry people need lessons on how to do folding of sheets as well as hanging shirts, pants etc. [name removed] is excellent at doing the laundry. She could put on classes for the rest of the staff. I'm thankful for being able to live here. I've made some friends at the dining room table who are very welcoming. After we get a full staff ( especially in the chef section) I know we can all have a delightful home.

Everything has been going well other then the billing is a bit odd. It's been a little bumpy as my dad has parkinsons and shuffles his feet so getting used to it there and him not falling has been a task but overall I don't have anything negative.

Overall experience has been great. They have treated my in-laws very well and have taken care of all of their needs. The place is very clean and always smells clean which I like. Staff is friendly and always helpful. The rooms are not huge but adequate for their needs. They just had a admin change so hoping things stay the same.

I like how the director is easy to reach. The food could be better but we would recommend Trustwell Living at Springfield to other families.

They were very amenable to her moving in--no questioning her memory issues or inability to walk. It was VERY expensive initially, but medical expenses dropped off considerably after a month or two. [name removed] seems very happy there. Loves the food and her independence.

It is very clean. The staff are friendly and show care and concern for the residents. The dining hall and food are good. They use table clothes and make the tables welcoming. The only thing that would have been more helpful for residents and their families would have been a meeting with the staff in the first week so we knew how to access various staff when needed, a notebook about procedures like how to sign up to get rides on the bus, a schedule of monthly events emailed to family, etc. We had to learn all of this just by asking busy staff when we found it necessary. Overall it has been a good experience and I would recommend Trustwell to others looking for their services.
