They were really good. The first thing you see when you walk in is that the carpeting is worn, but that's the only negative about the whole environment. The Marketing Director and Executive Director knew me by first name. The staff were outstanding and constantly showed concern toward my mother. They tried to get her involved in activities. I think it was an excellent value.

I've lived here for 3 year, and I'm very satisfied with my experience here at Westwood. Staff is very nice to me, and very friendly place. I have a great relationship with other residents. I would recommend this community.

I find the staff to be very friendly and helpful, they are always ready to assist. All the residents are friendly and we have a good time together. The overall building is always clean, and decorated very nicely for every holiday.

staff is caring, compassionate and competent. they continually check on our sister to ensure her safety. she has made many new friends and enjoys her interaction with them. the food is good both in quantity and quality.

This is a GREAT community! The staff are very loving, attentive and go out of their way to make the residents feel like family.. The residents are warm and very welcoming - HIGHLY RECOMMEND WESTWOOD! Great Place/Home away from Home! Welcoming Residents!! Knowledgeable - Dedicated Staff!

We had a great tour with Hunters Crossing Place. The staff were very informative and answered all of our questions that we had. They were also great at following up with us after the fact. We just felt another place we looked at fit our loved ones needs a little bit better.

Westwood place is an amazing facility and the staff are awesome. My mother in law is a resident there and the care she receives on a daily basis is the best!!! We tried to keep her home as long as possible but with dementia that was not possible., but Westwood is the next best place to home. My mother inlaw is very happy and content and that’s what we were looking for when she was placed there. 1000 percent would recommend Westwood Place to anyone looking into assisted living!!!

Urbana Place has wonderful compassionate staff. It is a warm and friendly environment that I would recommend to anyone!

This community was fine it just came down to the price at the end of things.

Our loved one was there for about a month and everybody was very accommodating and wonderful to our loved and our family. The place is so lovely, we wish our loved one was able to stay longer. She had a room that overlooked a patio which was so beautifully decorated with flowers, really lifted her spirits. The community was also very clean.

The staff were all very friendly and the facility was clean, but it is older so it had a more run down feel to it. They do allow residents to smoke.

Before Suncrest Place, my mom was at home by herself all the time and never went anywhere. My brother stopped by Suncrest Place the other day and caught her out socializing, sitting by the fireplace doing a crossword puzzle and talking to people, which was shocking to us. We're pretty happy about it. She doesn't need a ton of care right now, but this is a great place for her not to be alone. The staff have been great. So far so good - nothing bad to report.

This community would be worth your time to go check out for your loved one. The staff here have been positive and are very friendly with my loved one and all of the other residents. This is a nice community.

When I was forced to make the decision for Assisted Living for my mom, it was heartbreaking. I found Hunter's Crossing Place, and during the tour, I could feel the hominess of the residence. I selected mom's apartment and set it up, and as usual, the first few weeks were difficult for her. The staff was so patient and soon mom felt right at home. As her dementia progressed, I eventually had to move her to Memory Care, which Hunter's Crossing also offers. They are so wonderful and patient with mom, and I was quite surprised that the pricing was so much less than other facilities available in Gainesville. I highly recommend Hunter's Crossing for Assisted Living and Memory Care. It gives me much peace of mind knowing how well mom is cared for.

I love the way the staff addresses my mother by her name when they see her. After 6 months here, mostly late afternoon/evening visits I wish there were more staff available until later in the evening but couldn't ask for better staff on duty! I like the phone calls and/or emails for questions/problems. I especially like that I can rest easily knowing mom is in a safe, clean and caring facility.

Everyone there has always treated my loved one with the utmost love and respect. She requires more care than most and we get what we pay for. The only complaint I have ever had is that I believe it is time for us to be able to get the code to get in and out now. Other than that, I am 100% satisfied.

Referral from A Place for Mom and so pleased. Listened to my concerns about Mom’s needs, buddied up my Mom as a new arrival and she made friends fast. Great care and communication as behavior & health challenges happen. Appreciate the caring staff and so happy to have my Mom in this Senior Living. It’s a great fit with having a piano for her to play, activities and the group of friends she has. Beautiful location and rooms are well maintained. Mom enjoys the food and loves the beauty salon. Hoping Mom able to stay at Whitman Place for long time.

My Mom has been at Kingswood for three months now. It was a very difficult situation with her move, coming from the community where I actually worked to Kingswood. My Mom needed a secure building, which we didn't have, and my first thought was to call [name removed] at Kingswood. She, [name removed], [name removed] and all of the caregivers have been so kind to my Mom. They are right there if I have any questions or if my Mom needs anything. If you are looking for a smaller, homey assisted living where ALL staff jump in to help, you should call Kingswood.

The only reason we did not go with this community is because it cost more money. Outside of this the community was beautiful and great. This was our second choice.
