I toured the facility with our mom, and family. This facility is absolutely beautiful. The staff are so kind, attentive, and caring. They have activities for the residents, and are very involved. We are very pleased!

My sister was happy there. She was there because I was taking care of her and needed a break. The staff was very pleasant/ helpful.

Everyone is very friendly and easy to talk to. I feel welcome when I go to visit. I don't have any answer to that as everyone has different tastes.

I have recently been to this establishment. The manager [name removed] was so enthusiastic, professional and informative. The first thing I noticed while here was the cleanliness and the nice smell. Everyone I spoke with was very nice.

The staff has always been friendly and helpful whenever we have been there. They gave my mother in law extra attention the first few days to help her become confident and comfortable in her new home. This was much appreciated. Moving in occurs through the front door. This is challenging with all the other visitors coming and going. There was no dedicated parking area for movers. They did not have a good selection of carts to get her items to her apartment. We had to use a small elevator up to her apartment. With how many people are constantly moving in and out, they should have a better set up. Food choices and quality should be improved.

All staff members were extremely kind, efficient, professional, and loving to resident and family. Apartments are the perfect size for the situation, everything is outstanding.

I toured this facility through [name removed]. My experience with [names removed]. (the activities direct) [name removed] (the person who sits at the front desk) [names removed] and many other caregivers has been phenomenal. They had a tough task with caring for my sister and in the first seven days have proved to be fantastic. They have my sister up and moving, participating in Bingo, providing her medication’s and meals on a daily basis and that is exactly what we had hoped for. Toward three other facilities and this was the one we chose. I’m glad we made that choice from our sister. We are pleased with the food they serve, not a lot of carbs and Mast this and that. They are amazed at the staff that serves the food how they know each and every name and what people want and like. We will write another review in the next 30 days. Keep up the good work TrustWell, you’ve got a winner here. After these first seven days, I would definitely recommend this to other people looking for quality care

Mom lived at Astor Place 8 years before passing at 102 years of age. She was well taken care of and really enjoyed her caregivers, especially [name removed] who had a special relationship with her. So happy that Mom’s end of life was with friends.

Very nice community. Staff is very friendly! I encourage you to visit for yourself to experience how friendly everyone is. The recent remodel is just gorgeous. You will need to visit to see for yourself.

Everyone has been very welcoming and helpful. The apartment is small but she is getting used to that. The food is good, although she wishes they would cook more traditional south Louisiana style. But she's not complaining too much about it. My mom is kinda anti social so she has not joined in with the activities. Although we have sat in the activity room and played a few games and it's a nice open room with view to the courtyard. And it's very clean!

[name removed] is the recreational director at Whitman Place. She also drives the van and takes my mom and sister to their medical appointments, so I see her often. I find [name removed] to be pleasant, kind and engaging with the clients and myself. She decorates the facility seasonly in a fun and creative manner. She looks for activities that involve family members. An especially fun one was bringing out street side to watch an antique car show. She is one of my favorite staff members at Whitman Place.

Everyone was kind, helpful and treated me like family.

I always know if I have a question about my loved one that I can ask anyone and if they are not sure they are more than happy to find am answer for me. I could not ask for a better place for my loved one.

Sweet and thoughtfully involved with the community, everyone seems very kind and motivated. Thank you for the community trunk or treat, it was a lot of fun and the kids loved it!! We hope you do this again in the future

When you walk into Blanchard Place it always smells so good. Everyone is very friendly and greet you with a smile.

Here're my thoughts: WP is a top notch facility. The staff is incredibly caring and friendly (this includes the maintenance man). They work hard to make sure each resident is cared for medically and socially. I wish [name removed] had more positive feedback on the food, but I realize the difficulty feeding a group consistently when tastes are diverse and dietary needs differ amongst the group. I also think they could up their activities game. This is my first experience with Assisted Living, so perhaps this is a normal level of activities given the population...just not sure. As for value, the monthly rate seems very high when just looking at the housing and food. However, when taken in it's entirety and considering the high level of care and genuine caring, the value equation rises greatly! I like ~ the genuine care and friendliness I see from the entire staff ~ the level of security ~ that there has not been a high rate of employee turnover since [name removed] arrived [date removed] ~ they have responded quickly and earnestly to all medical needs and have kept me informed

Love seeing all the workers with my loved ones. They really do treat them like their own family. Always enjoy their family might they go above and beyond to enrich the lives of their residents.

When you visit Blanchard Place you will always be greeted with a smile and a warm hello. Always clean and smells great!

They are friendly and know my father very well. I would highly recommend Trustwell Living at Cherryvale Place.
