We were not pleased with the facility. Three administrators within a year. Several of the care staff spent more time on their phones than engaging with residents. We had to ask 4 times over a 2 week period for the beeping fire alarm battery in the room to be changed. Clean clothes were stuffed in drawers rather than hung on the hangers we provided. Although we had asked the staff to take our friend to the bathroom every few hours to avoid accidents, there were many times his clothes were soaked through. Staff turnover was high. Some staff were caring, but that was the exception. That's probably enough. Our friend is now at Mill Creek and it's a much better fit

Night care givers are not attentive. Residents are afraid to use their call buttons because their rent goes up. The food is terrible except for one of the cooks. Complaints to the management gets swept under the rug. Once my moms VA funding comes through, I will be moving her

Father here. Awful food. The executive manger is rude and a child. I am sick and my father needs to be here for end of life care. [name removed] has return to correct issues with and we pay over [fee removed] a month! They took our money and I hear her talk bad about me in the office to the security. When I walk by. My father is dying and deserves better maturity.

They seemed very nice and reasonably priced. Just didn't know what I was getting into. If they want employees to do anything make sure they have a drs order. Check on family frequently because they do NO fall check ups after a fall nor do they notify family of a fall. Friendly people but will do the bare minimum for residents.

The management completely over promised services they could provide. My sister, my dad, and I stayed with her most of her stay. The didn't have enough staff to keep her diaper reasonably clean. My dad and sister changed her diaper and cleaned her. We would not have placed her in Sinclair Place had we known she wasn't going to get the care the intake manager described. If we'd have known how limited their staffing resources were going to be, we would not have put mom in Sinclair Place. She definitely did not get the care they described on intake.

The activities were great and the facility was always clean and smelled fresh. We had several concerns over her health while she was there. They put her to bed while having a stroke and didn't call and also would put her to bed with low blood sugar without notification as well. They are always short staffed. The food was unrecognizable and uneditable most days. We were told this was an age in place facility but it becomes unaffordable if your parent needs any real help or care. That being said we had some amazing staff that did work there. The move in and out process was easy and the room was comfortable. We did have an issue getting things repaired from time to time but they only had 1 maintenance person as the time.

I don't know if Wildflower Place has the same people in charge, or if they might have made some significant changes. But when my loved one was there, they did not check on the residents every two hours as promised, and they did not take adequate care of her. I did not think the activities were adequate. The food was second or third quality, with no choices offered. There were too many problems to keep my loved one there.

Our family had an in person tour with Oakley Place and we were not impressed with the tour experience or the community at all.

Our family had an in person tour and we just knew it was not going to be the place for our loved one, it was more assisted living and residents who needed more care and we were looking for independent living. Also just did not leave good first impression

They do not provide consistent nor adequate care often, they struggle to keep trained staff, and the corporate management has little interest in resident well being, simply profit. The mid level staff are generally kind, but the base level workers are lazy, and cooperate is dismissive and rude.

This community wasn't impressive. It seemed cold and in need of some love.

I wouldn't recommend Cimarron Place to others for their loved ones. My loved one was there for a short stay, and none of the employees had checked on my loved one during the time my loved one was there. They didn't have enough food, and my loved one didn't get any food they wanted. The family had to supply the food for our loved one. Linda is really good upfront; however, her concern is just getting the residents in the door and then not helping the family afterwards.

I think covid had some to do with our experience but we also had a different circumstance going on. I felt that they should have been more up front with us in the beginning, we got my parents here and they were separated and that caused a lot of issues and we had to end up moving them both out. I think it is a great facility, it is clean and they have a lot of activities going on but I would tell other to make sure to do their homework before moving their loved ones. It would be a great place for a more active person who needs some assistance.

I did not like this community as much. It felt like the people who lived there were close with each other, however it felt old and dirty and was very loud. The rooms were also a lot smaller. Seemed to be more into the sale than my loved one.

The brochure shows amazing food options but we only got a repeat menu and they would not offer any other options. I would like to see more options when it comes to activities. There was an issue with some of the aids and following the medical directions. After a fall they would not allow my loved one back to the community and tried to charge us for a full 30-day charge.

Cimarron Place did an excellent job following up with me after our tour. The problem I had with them was they couldn't tell you what your cost was going to be. They base their cost on a health evaluation, which is really scary. If you go in and your loved one is having a bad day, you could be stuck at a higher cost. And if they're having a better than usual day, you could move in at one price and then be faced with some steep increases as they adjust for level of care.

Well...the staff does seem friendly, but the cleanliness of my mom, is not satisfactory. I don't think they are making sure her teeth are brushed everyday or the showers, as what they said they would do. I question their that they are doing laundry as they said. A number of times, when picking up our loved one, once a week she is not ready and has not has her showers or even clean clothes on. When something is said about this, they seem to make the corrective actions as requested, but it only last a time or two, and things seem to go back to they were, is what it appears to us.

I’m deeply concerned about Raytown senior living some of the staff are rude to the elderly and I’ve witnessed this. House keeping terrible. And cats in dining area. I’m hurt because the nurse was fired. I’m a black woman and she’s not racist.i reported things to management but I’m sure it’s somebody’s job to clean his office and the guest bathrooms. I wish I was at the meeting. This was not a good move. I guess it’s better to remove one employee instead of the ones who don’t do their job. Bickford is a beautiful place. If employees would do their jobs. I think placing cameras in the dining area would be helpful. I toured this facility for 6 months before I moved my parent. The staff I met Day and evening are gone. Hopefully things will improve!

My mother has been at Oak Creek Place since June 2018. Shortly after she moved in corporate changed hands. Since then we are on our third director and our third nurse. There is no communication; this facility is grossly understaffed. The food is terrible according to my mother. My mother was recently placed on hospice care through an outside facility. There is absolutely no coordination between the hospice company and OCP staff. Medications and dietary needs are not being handled correctly. Aids are not trained; turn-over is constant. They are all very pleasant and want very much to help but without training they seem hesitant and bewildered. The only one holding this place together is the receptionist. She handles everything from waiting tables to dealing with internet/cable tv problems because there is never enough staff to take care of these tasks. We are getting my mother out of there as soon as possible. Unfortunately we have to give 30 days notice which means we will have to pay for a room that my mother will not be in for 30 more days. I would not recommend Oak Creek Place at this time.
