True Connection Communities

I toured this community and although my mom decided not to make a move at all. We really enjoyed it here. We ate lunch and enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the service. The community was well lit and the apartments had a nice open setup. Mom is not ready now, but will be strongly considering this community where we do decided to move forward.

Pine Ridge is mom's first assisted living environment. It took a few months for her to acclimate, but she is fully integrated with the community now. The facility is well maintained and the facility staff are polite and effective. The facility provides a variety of activities for the residents and mom actively participates in many of them. Overall we have a very positive view of the facility and its services. Below are a few more critical comments - but overall the facility is very good. Professional Parent Care provides adult care services and mom has made friends with many of those staff. There does seem to be a bit of turnover in this part of the staff, however. Because of this, the level of training and care in that staff does vary somewhat. Mom's biggest concern is that the dining/kitchen services are understaffed. There is good variety in food, but it is not uncommon to run out of menu items. There are also instances where the food arrives cold and mom has had to send it back to get it warmed up. The apparent understaffing can lead to delays in getting served promptly.

This is a very nice community, and it was one of the community we were considering for my aunt. Our tour went very well. The community looked great, everything was well-kept. The staff we met was friendly, and our questions were answered. The experience went very well, but we did find another community that was the right fit for us. However this is a really nice community.

My father has lived at Arbour Square for over two years and loves it. This is his second retirement community and rates it the best. To remain independent at 91 is very important to him, and AS allows that. The staff are exceptional and very caring, which reflects upon the residents. It's not just a community, but a family environment. Knowing dad is safe, and has all the resources he needs, is a definite peace of mind for family members. I would highly recommend AS to those seeking independent care.

I really enjoyed my tour of this community. I was impressed with how well the staff distributed information to us and even offered us a chance to try one of there meals during our visit. I also liked how easy there floor plan was set up. They had wide hallways and spacious common areas. Overall great experience with no complaints.

Pine Ridge on Garfield is a beautiful assisted living complex. Brand new, bright and big are the words I would use to describe this facility. The residents are more independent than what my family is looking for for our mother but it was very nice.

We started yesterday with having my mother in activities and one meal a day. Hopefully that goes well. It's very clean! We chose Villas of Shelby because of the positive reviews and so far they have met those expectations.

On my tour I got to see the community and thought they were fine. I had seen a room that was to far for my mom to walk to the dining room. The facility has long hallways with elevators. It is a good community but I was looking for a place with an easy walking layout. I had a good tour and they were all good just not the right fit.

I was very impressed with my tour of this community. It was one of my top picks for my mother to move too. The staff was very nice, and friendly. The community looked very nice, and clean. It was a good experience. This is a really nice facility with kind people.

So far everything is working in the right direction for my mother with her move to this community. It is a good, well maintained facility. They do a good job with the cleanliness of the facility. So far I do feel comfortable with her move to this community. It is a work in progress, but so far all is well.

The Cadence at the Glenn was a very nice community. The place was very clean and everyone was friendly, but it was too far from where I wanted to be. I was looking for somewhere closer to my son's home.

The rooms at this community were lovely. The accommodations were very nice. The staff we met were friendly. I did not care for the way they serve the meals it did not have an ambiance I would care for.

Everything is working out pretty well since my mothers move to this community. It is a nice place, and I'am comfortable with her move here. They have an excellent staff, they have been kind and helpful. The community is well-kept. they do a great job with the cleanliness. She has gotten involved in the activities they have available for the residents. The meals are decent, but overall they are healthy meals. I know she is safe and in a good place. This is a community I would recommend.

I cannot find a way to express my gratitude to the staff, culinary, server's and residents at Arbour Square. During my time of grieving over the death of my wife. [Removed] and her staff went out of their way towards making time to schedule a special bus trip for residents to go to viewing. [Removed] and his culinary staff and servers help Ann greatly doing her time of illness before her death. The resident committee of [Removed],[Removed], [Removed] and [Removed] were specially helpful to me doing this time of my life. I want to thank the compassion that the residents show [Removed] and I with giving their condolences and sympathy. Arbour Square is a great place for me to know that I'm not alone in my life with this situation.

On an overall basis they are excellent. However like everything nothing is perfect, but they at the office they try hard to be perfect.

There is always something to do.

I toured this community for my parents and their needs. I really enjoyed my tour, this is a nice place. The community looked nice and clean. From what I saw everything was well maintained. The staff was friendly and nice. It was a nice experience, and everything went well. This is a good community with friendly people.

We had a nice tour but it was not what we wanted. Staff did not offer any of the meals. The community was very clean and staff were nice to us. We wanted a closed location. We would recommend this community.
