True Connection Communities

I chose this community because of all the amenities they have and the location is close other family. The staff are wonderful here they go out of there way to help you out. The activities are great and if you participate you will make many friends and you get to know all your neighbors very quickly.

I chose Verena at The Reserve because it met my requirements which included a walk in shower, outdoor space, plenty of windows, and 2 bedrooms. My apartment is spacious, bright and cheery and I am very pleased with it. The staff here is very sensitive to the needs of the senior citizens. The activities planned are designed to stimulate and maintain physical and mental well-being of the residents here. They bring in great people to perform as well, they really offer a lot. They make a real effort to invite families to events going on so that they can participate and get involved. The facility itself is very attractive and in a great location. It is independent living, so you are able to bring your car if you want to/are able to. But if not, they do have several buses that take people to doctors appointments, field trips, the grocery store, etc. They do allow home health aids and hospice when needed which I find a plus. I would definitely recommend to others who are looking, but act fast.

The food is marginal. There is a daily menu and they have items on this list that are not available in the dining room such as tuna salad and cottage cheese. There is shortage of staff in the dining room and kitchen. The staff overall is fabulous. The community building is an older building.

The location for our family was really convenient, we also really like the grounds of the community. All of the pathways and gardens are nice. The apartments are larger than a lot of other places. There are two pools here, the community is just attractive and very homey feeling.

My mom chose Pine Ridge mainly because of the location and also it had a beautiful courtyard, they had a balcony. The apartment size at the facility were perfect. Some meals they do very well, and other times its just like sandwiches and chips so they could use improvement there with healthier options. The location of the facility is great, residents can walk up to the pharmacy, the grocery store, bank, restraints, etc. I would recommend to other looking.

The community was always really clean, but once the pandemic hit the cleanliness really went downhill. The staff members have always been very friendly, but we believe with the value we are over paying for what our loved one was receiving. The food was being delivered in boxes left outside their doors since the dining room was closed, and the meals were not nutritional.

We chose Pine Ridge because they were very accommodating and helpful during my tour and sent videos. I sat down with my dad and showed him and he really liked the floor plan so we went with this facility. The apartment size is perfect for what he needs, they could use more closet space though. They seem to offer a lot of variety of activities during non-covid times. Even during covid, they are still trying to engage them. I would recommend them to others looking.

Looks like a lovely facility - however, because we have decided that we prefer cottages it would not work for us.

The community is warm, inviting, and friendly. I always felt comfortable visiting. They had communications and was always available if we had any questions. I would recommend this community to others.

The Phoenix pre-COVID was a joyful residence. The administrators were accessible and caring. The maintenance staff addressed our concerns and needs. The social director and staff kept us engaged in fun activities. Our gym is equipped with state of the art equipment. Our wonderful chefs prepared delicious meals. During COVID many of the activities and dining experiences had to be modified. My compliments to the entire staff for making adjustments that ensured our safety.

Meadowstone was very nice,friendly staff and residents seemed happy. Clean, convenient, plenty of activities provided, and secure/safe location. I will keep Meadowstone in mind should I decide to make this type of move. Presently, my husband and I have decided to remain in our home.

[Name removed] was friendly, patient and kind. Moreover the apartments were beautiful. We also ate lunch there and the food was delicious.Spacious and met our needs. The only reason they did not get a 5 star is because they still had some construction going on.

Too many of the activities are going to the SG.

Friendly, helpful staff, Love the food and activities. The entertainment is fun at happy hour. Pleasant surroundings, fun and artful holiday decorations.

I like living here. WIsh there was evening meal in dining room.

Living in this community makes it easy for being independent. I've been here 7 years and really enjoy the staff are so nice. My home is very spacious. I like Sunday brunch.

The employees are wonderful. [Name removed] is number one!!! Transportation ([name removed]) very good. Many activities. [Name removed] good.

The administrators are wonderful and help usually good.

loved the staff we met! happy with most of what we saw. didnt like no balconies with studio's. we want outside access from unit. cafe' was inviting and we thought we would enjoy visiting mom there.
