Very happy here. Delicious food, wide variety of activities with amazing staff dedicated to residents safety and happiness. Super activities dept always has exciting trips and creative projects. Great location for shopping and access to health care.

It was a nice place. We picked them because it was a nice location.

Initially my mom’s heels were dug into the ground resisting her move to her new home even though she chose it herself!!! Once settled, she embraced her new family of friends and gracious, caring staff. Previously more to herself, she looked forward to meals with friends, bingo, Euchre and learning left center right! She forged friendships that were important to her, and truly enjoyed living in the Pineridge Community!

Have use of a 2 bedroom apartment front floor. Find that in my own personal opinion this faculty is more like a nursing place not independent living.

Both are great. Friendly residents. Independent living it is not.

PR on Pinebrook is a wonderful. Independent Living facility. The staff and residents are friendly kind, caring. I would recommend this place.

The maintenance is very good and all of the staff are helpful. They could improve on the food by offering a salad bar and having more variety on their menu. They could improve on activities by trying to get more residents involved. Overall I would recommend Verena at Bedford Falls to others.

This is the best of the three retirement communities. My only complaint is that the villa I live in is not well maintained.

I moved here a year ago after my husband passed away so have just recently ventured out more in this community. Neighbors and people I've met have been very friendly. The events I have attended seem well organized and food is always good. I plan to become more involved in the many daily and monthly activities offered.

The first person I met was [name removed]. He was warm and friendly and very patient with me. As I met more of the staff in the office, in the dining room and all others, I felt very welcomed and loved. I feel safe here. As I don’t doubt that it’s the same in other senior communities, the meals aren’t always the best for my choices; however, it’s easy to find an alternative off of the menu.

Facility felt like a hotel instead of an independent living facility. The food was okay. The residents seem happy with this community. My negative no employee/contact person are in the building from late afternoon until the following morning.

Previously booked an appointment but happened to be in vicinity so decided to drop in. Marketing personnel were out on tour with other clients. Was greeted by resident who was most helpful in securing a brochure and answering questions. Resident was very positive about the services and amenities! Certainly a site to add to your search for senior living, etc.!

Verena is on the verge of excellence. It has the facilities it needs to be excellent. The staff members are hard-working and caring. However, management fails to provide the communication that would pull everything together. Transportation is unpredictable. This pulls other staff members from their jobs to correct this. So their jobs are not done as correctly or timely as it should be. Rules are not enforced consistently. Why have a rule that you can only have 2 pets if you’re going to allow 4? The food is not gourmet, but it’s perfectly adequate. You aren’t confined to eating at one sitting only. There is transportation—most of the time. An argument could be made that marketing has a fluid idea of what “Independent” entails. The main drawback is communication.

We have found that Pine Ridge is the facility that meets all out needs and would recommend it to all of our friends.

Have been a resident for 2 1/2 yrs. Very friendly staff. Meals are frustrating one time it is very good. Tasty and next time-very blah-no taste. Cleaning is spotty-due to time for doing it is not enough. 2 people for the whole complex is not adequate.

We were the 4th residents to move into Chesapeake Bay. This was before Phase One was even complete. It is a conveniently placed property with easy access to highways and freeways. We love the look of the property as well. Would definitely recommend it (and have) to others looking for this style of living. The residents here are super friendly and help to make it a fun place to live. There are activities for all who are interested in participating - at whatever level of participation you are interested in doing. Currently the Cafe is not up and running, but we are told it will be back open yet this year. When it was running, it was always fun to meet neighbors for a quick dinner without having to get out and travel.

After visiting approximately 10 other facilities when my husband died, my daughters took one look at Chesapeake Bay and told me this was they wanted me to live. The staff was very congenial and helpful in getting me settled. There are lots of self-generated activities (generated by current residents) for you to participate in if you so desire.
