My mom recently moved in to Verena at Leander. Sales told us it was a cruise ship without the ocean. It is!

Preston Place is a beautiful facility with really nice people. My loved one's apartment is nice and has all of the appliances with air conditioning. He can furnish it however he wants and make it into his home. His apartment comes with a balcony that has a storage area attached. He says they're remodeling his wing, so they're constantly updating. The grounds has lots of trees and areas for him to walk around too. It's a great senior living facility and a nice community. It doesn't feel like a nursing home and I would recommend Preston Place to others.

They only serve lunch and they have brunch on the weekends. The chef is great and the food is very high quality. The activities are great but they stop at 5 on the week days and there are none on the weekends unless there is a special occasion. Residents do their own activities too such as going to see movies, birthday parties, cook-outs by the pool etc. Everyone is very friendly and likes to socialize. It is in a very good location and close to anything you may need. On Mondays they have a bus service that takes residents to any appointments that they may have. They also take you out to eat, grocery shop and things like that. They are doing a good job especially for being short staffed. It is a beautiful campus and I would recommend Preston Place to others looking.

I liked the community, I needed something that was more handicapped accessible and friendly.

I was there were more options for weekend activities for those who do not have family and friends nearby and I wish they had a staff person to help with computer and cable problems and a person to provide advise to make sure we are aware and using the various service available to us such a having prescription's delivered. I would not recommend a community that has a buy in or required that you have a certain amount of liquid assets. I would not recommend a community where I could not age in place. I like that Arbour Square placed the emphasis on this is my home. And my family is included in events such as holiday brunches. I have Parkinson's disease and I have no idea what my future will be like. But moving to Arbour Square has given me and my family the peace of mind that we needed to know that we have done our best to see that I can live out the remainder of my days with an excellent quality of life.

I enjoy the people, I enjoy the staff, they are always very helpful, always with a smile. The activities ie: strength classes, art classes. The food is excellent. There are always new choices and I love the fact that they have a beautician on the premises. I am very happy to have come to Verena at Leander.

This is a very nice place. The staff are very considerate, and very helpful. There are a lot of activities for the residents to choose from. Trips to restaurants, games, bocce ball, church service, bible study, and more are some of the activities available. There is a library and movie theater on site. There is even a thrift shop on site, as well. The community has a chef meeting for the residents to provide feed back as to what they would like to see on the menus.

I liked that during our tour they invited us for a meal and also encouraged us to go and talk to the other residents, other places did not do that. The staff is very friendly. [name removed] and her team that welcome people go out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable and help the family with the transition. The food is the one thing that is a little lacking. I have eaten here a couple times and it is pretty bland. I would definitely recommend Pine to other families looking.

We are so happy with our experience so far with the Pine Ridge Villas. The best part about this community is the overall friendliness and caring nature of the staff. Even though it is independent living the staff still make sure the watch over the residents and show genuine care to them. For other families looking into this community for themselves or their loved ones we would definitely recommend.

We have only been here for [dates removed] but the experience we have had so far with Preston Place has been wonderful, and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. Everyone here is very professional. The activities are wonderful and the food is delicious and the chef is amazing. It has been really positive so far and we would encourage anybody to come and check out Preston Place.

This is a very friendly atmosphere. The staff and other residents are very friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. The meals have been exceptional. For Easter they served lobster bisque, and prime rib. The breakfasts are included in the monthly fee. They have happy hour every week. They also includes outings for some of the activities offered.

Our loved one is really enjoying all the different activities they have planned for everyone, there are a lot of things to participate in and great social activities. He is really loving it there. He has not really had a chance to eat in the dining hall but on our first day of visiting they brought us some BBQ lunch and it was very good. Based on the experience we have had so far with Parc Place we would recommend them to other families.

This is a great place. I would highly recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff are attentive, cooperative, assist with any means, and more. I have no complaints about the community. My loved one enjoys the food. Every now and then there will sometimes not be food soft enough for my loved one's needs. Some of the activities offered are art classes, historian speakers, music, and more for the residents to choose from.

They offer games, music you can to, shopping. They offer activities like trips the zoo or shopping. They offer transportation to appointments. They have a pool with exercise classes. There is a pool table and hot tub. We had to a bring a washer and dryer for our apartment. Some of the other apartments had some already but ours did not. We like our 2 bedroom apartment. Our apartment came with a dishwasher, stove, microwave and refrigerator.

The staff members at the Preston Place are great and every time we come to visit the community is well maintained and clean. Our loved one does not eat the meals there and wishes that breakfast would open up earlier than 7AM. They do have quite a few activities and we think the value for the money is good. Given the apartment costs in the area, this community is very affordable.

This was our second choice. They were very friendly, answered all our questions. It all came down to price and what my Mother liked.

Our loved one is incredibly happy here, the staff member are fantastic and anytime she needs anything they are right there to help. She adjusted very well, that made her feel comfortable and right at home very quickly. They have a bunch of activities to keep the residents busy and have great meals. If there is a meal option they do not like they will make them something else so its nice to know they are very accommodating. We highly recommend Pine Ridge to others.

I loved this community. I lived here for a number of years. Its was like being with family. I only had to leave due to my budget and expenses.

I chose Verena at the Glen because I really liked the atmosphere, the friendliness of the people, and the homey feeling you get when you walk in. The apartment size I have is adequate for what I need. You are able to have up to 2 pets. They do also have a nice cement walkway that goes all the way around, in good weather it is great for walking. I really love it here and would definitely recommend them to others looking.

We chose Preston Place because it had a more homey environment and the activities director had a lot of fun stuff going on for residents. The apartment sizes are very nice a roomy, she has a porch and she looks over beautiful green space, it just feels light and airy. The location is amazing, there is a pharmacy right across the street you can get your meds from. Shopping and restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely recommend to others depending on what you are looking for.
