I broke my hip and had to stay as in-patient. It is a wonderful place to stay. Staff (including maintenance, nurses, cooks, servers, cleaners, administration, and rehab center) were wonderful and friendly. Food was excellent. Even gained 10 pounds. It amazes me that everyone knows and can call you by name. I did find the bed was uncomfortable but would return if necessary and recommend Avalon to others. Thank you for helping me. My Aunt ([name removed]) was a resident and I was impressed so that's another reason I came to Avalon Springs.
