My grandmother is doing fine here. She has settled into her comfort.She is not one to socialize and do any sort of activities she tends to stay to herself for the most part. However, the community offers a lot of things that the residents can do. The community is well taken care of the very nice place. The staff is very nice to every one the residents and families that come to visit we are always made to feel welcomed. My grandmother loves the food here.

Adequate. Understaffed but friendly people. Patient care as far as bathing and clean clothes needs improvement. Will try to accommodate patient food choices. Family member or close friend is helpful for the patient in making sure that all needs are met.

As a family member I have had first hand experiences with several different nursing facilities. Cypress Pointe made it to good with reservations. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful but there always seems to be a shortage of help. I cannot imagine what it is like for patients that have no one to speak for them. Bathing of the patient on a regular basis seemed to be a problem along with clean sheets. I realize with a shortage of help these things cannot be done on a daily basis unless there is urine or feces involved, however a sponge bath with clean clothes would seem reasonable at least every other day. The food is adequate and the kitchen will try and get whatever the patient requests. The therapy department is very helpful and always answers every question and offers advice if asked for it. Housekeeping kept the room and bathroom clean. Never met the director of the facility saw him but he never introduced himself. Other staff in authority were friendly and helpful.

There were a few things about this community that weren't going to work in my favor. First was the location it was on the east side of town which was going to give us more traffic to have to deal with. The location would have been a 40-minute drive from my house so that wasn't going to work. The community itself was just too big. However, on the positive side, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They keep it very clean and well maintained.

When dealing with difficult people in your family it tends to be hard especially when they don't want to be there and refuse to do anything. The community itself is wonderful the staff is friendly and encouraging the food is good. The community is kept very clean and well maintained. They offer a lot of activities and events

With all the upheaval my grandmother had been going through I was looking for a community that was going to match her personality and her taste. As soon as we walked in the door I could just feel that this was not going to be the place I was looking for. The building and community were fine clean and well maintained it just didn't give me the sense of home that I was looking for. The decorating style did not quite match what my grandmother would have liked. The staff was kind and informative on the tour.

This was a very nice facility. Clean, good food. [Removed], the director is wonderful, however they could no longer manage him as he has become violent.

It's been awhile since I toured this community however from what I remember they didn't provide the services that I was in need of for my mother. The location was not an issue, in fact, it is right across from the place where I ended up placing my mom. The staff seemed friendly enough but it just wasn't what I was in need of. Placing her there would not have given me the piece of mind.

My mother is still taking some time to adjust to her move to this community. However I'am comfortable with her move to this community. This is nice community with kind people. The staff is well, and they are taking good of her, and her needs. So far all is well for my mother in this community.

State of the Art facility that is absolutely beautiful.

This is a nice community, and our tour of it went well. Everyone was kind to my family, and I. From what we saw the community was nice, and clean. The staff we met was friendly, and informative. The experience was a good one, but we did find another community that suited our needs better.

I toured this community for my mother, and her needs. Everyone was nice, and friendly. The staff was polite, and answered my questions. The rooms they showed up were a bit to small for us. Overall my tour went well, but I did find another community that suited our needs better.

We liked the facility and we think it will work out for [Removed]. We are having dinner there Sat night.

This facility is fairly new and seems to be a very nice facility. The staff was friendly. There was a musical event going on during the end of my tour. The call system is limited to wall units without the ability to have a device worn on the body and since my family member is prone to falls I see this as a negative. There seems to be a communication system similar to email that is built into the TV system. I don't know if my family member would be able to learn the system or not. But it could be different way to communicate which I have a problem with currently. I was incorrectly led to believe that there was a one bedroom unit available prior to my visit. The unit I was shown was a fair amount smaller than what I was looking for. I skipped seeing the Willows at Citation for this reason.

My tour of Waunakee Manor also went pretty well. The person that took me around was friendly and informative. The facility was clean and well set up, but it was not the best fit for my mother at the time.

Lovely facility, friendly staff and helpful, only problem is that we did not meet the financial requirements. Large property.

Mom seems to be adjusting to living at The Oaks. The staff seem to take good care of her. She said she likes her apartment. They offer a lot of daily activities and she does participate in many of them. I like that this community is clean, classy and has an elegant decor.

I am in a position where I can compare facilities. My mom had Alztheimer's and was in a facility elsewhere. I had only one choice in our town, as she was a Medicaid patient. If your parent is going into a memory care unit, be prepared for some missing items, as other patients like to "shop." At least at The Legacy at Prairie Lakes, you can request a lock be put on your loved one's door that can be opened from the inside. There will be laundry mix ups anywhere you go. The Legacy is a small facility, so things can be tracked down. Buy cotten clothes larger than needed because the laundry is set on very hot as to ensure cleanliness. The option of ordering food from a menu, if one does not like the daily entree is great. The facility is very clean and looks like a hotel lobby, but homier. All of the staff are kind and seem to understand the needs of people with dementia. CNAs are the ones who do the dirty work: bed changing, diaper changing, tooth brushing, bed making, etc. they receive low pay everywhere, but you will find so many with hearts of gold. The Legacy facility is calm, pretty, and friendly. There is always an attempt to involve your loved one in activities. The food there is great; it has its own chef. SKILLED CARE is different. The rooms are small, but most patients are not very active when they are there. It does seem short staffed. We have never had any problems that were not immediately remedied. No one will care about your loved one's wants and needs as much as you do, but this place is staffed with busy, yet caring employees. It is a safe environment. You still have to be the advocate. That's the way it is anywhere. My mom got good care, but the environment was not nearly as comforting and calm and visually pretty.

Things were going okay when she moved in but she wasn't able to get therapy here so we had to do outpatient. They had a lower price when you moved in but it increased after 30 days. They should make it more clear to people what they are getting into. We chose this community because of the price. They could have a quicker response time. You want them to respond right away but sometimes it takes them longer. I understand it's difficult to staff places like this though.

Orchard Pointe provides care from Assisted Living to Memory Care to full Skilled Nursing Bed care. The staff are very knowledgeable and kind.
