The staff are wonderful, caring and knowledgeable about how to care for a resident with dementia. My loved one is in the memory care unit and I do not feel they offer enough activities. Most of the activities seem to be geared towards women. The food is good and it seems homemade. We are satisfied with our decision and I would recommend this community.

I liked this community when I toured it. The people I met were nice and helpful. The food seemed good. They offer independent and assisted living. I think this will be the community I chose when I am ready to move.

I had a good experience while touring The Lakes Monclova. The people there were very friendly and the tour guide was knowable. Thre facility was very clean and organized. I would recommend it to anyone looking, it was just not the best for my loved one's needs.

So far the Orchard grove appears to be a great place. We moved Mom in last week and she seems to be adapting very well. Food is great, room is clean and spacious. Lots of things to do and keep busy. The employees are very helpful and very kind.

Everything is going fine so far for my mother since her move to this community. The place seems to be kept very clean, however, its a new place and still understaffed. I noticed the other night they seemed to be overwhelmed, but they do a good a good job. Other than that they do a fine job and the food seems to be good. I would recommend them, to anyone.

I know any feedback is good as elder parents and their situations can leave you feeling hopeless. We moved my father in 2+ months ago into their assisted living after looking at many, many places. While any new place takes getting used to - he likes it quite a bit and the care there is excellent; and they have been excellent at managing his diabetes too! He says the food leaves a little to be desired, but not horrible and the monthly family brunch and the Friday Happy Hours are a great thing for all the family! If you can get into the facility, i would highly recommend it!

It did not have the memory care facility and she got to the point where they couldn't handle her there. I was very pleased with the assisted living. They were very friendly. They had some activities, but part was the level of the people. They would start playing cards or doing other things on their own, so the community didn't have to organize as much. The food was great! They had a chef for a while, and he would fix a big buffet and would wear his white hat and apron. They also had a rehab, there, which was really great.

Waunakee Manor was really nice except it was huge. They have skilled care, assisted living, apartments, everything. She got good care there, and the building was in good condition.

I looked at it one or two days before it opened and it was very nice. They were able to provide skilled nursing without her having to move to another room, so once she needs more attention it would just be a different type of care and they had a couple of different floor plans that I liked.

They appear understaffed quite a bit but I know that is the norm these days. Overall... it was a good experience and we would recommend Walker's Trail Senior Living to other families who may need a place for their loved ones

Very nice community, the staff were hard to get ahold of to check on our loved one. Then when I was able to get ahold of the staff member they didn't know all the details about my loved one's care since they floated. Overall the staff took good care of my loved one during their stay here. Beautiful community with beautiful winding driveway with hills.

My loved one was a resident here. It's a great place and they treated him very well. Unfortunately, we had to move him due to financial reasons.

There are multiple different things offered here like independent living, assisted living, higher levels of care and even a rehab unit and that was something we like. There are plenty of activities going on Monday through Friday, they do a good job keeping the residents busy. The cleanliness is great, even though it is an older facility it was well kept and not run down. They could work to improvement the meals, we personally think the quality is just not really adequate for adult seniors.

Avalon seemed really big. It was very nice with a whole building for memory care. I feel you would get lost in the general population as it is huge. The Medicaid beds are only in the general population, even if you have memory care needs.

I would tell my friends that it is a good place. However, you must make sure someone is overseeing your loved one. You will want to make sure your loved one is being showered on time, going to meals, and going to activities. The room was nice and clean. My loved one thought they were in a hotel, because it was so nice. The administration is very open, friendly, and accommodating.

The room sizes are pretty good. They do a good job keeping the residents engaged. Some of the staff spend more time talking to each other than caring for the residents. The food seems pretty good. They have a good variety on the menu. They have a few different outdoor spaces for the residents to use.

They are under staffed in some areas. All in all I like it fine. They are close to a hospital and several doctors. Close to restaurants and shopping.W

Food was good just a little too much of it. Activities were good Bingo, arts and crafts, movies, Church service, beauty shop, therapy/exercise, good good staff/nurses, etc

So far everything’s been good.

Beautiful facility, it definitely doesn't have that clinical or nursing home feel. The Personal Care Rooms are a little smaller than other facilities we've looked at. I think maybe the admissions staff (or whatever you call them) are a little overwhelmed with the new opening and I'm sure they have a lot of families interested in their facility, so just go in with some patience for the tour. Everyone was very nice, though, I would have no concern about the level of respect my mom would be given here.
