The management at this community are very well trained. They all help in the community with the rest of the caregiving staff. The staff are nice and helpful. They offer a variety of daily activities. The community is clean and the food is pretty good. I would recommend this community.

This is a lovely community and everything is working out very well for my mother here. They have a great staff and they have been very caring to my mother. They have two young student aids, and they have very attentive to my mother and her needs. I've tired some of the meals and the food is good. Overall she is being cared for well and I'am pleased. This is a community I would recommend.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. I thought this was a nice enough looking place overall, but I don't think it would have been a good fit for us. It was on the larger side, and I think Dad would do better in a smaller community. It was also one of the more expensive options we looked at.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for our loved one. This was a very nice looking senior community, and everyone seemed very friendly. Unfortunately they did not have the level of memory care that our loved one required, so they were not an option for us.

I liked it from a skilled nursing approach, it had a small smell, but not as bad as Riverwalk Village. My husbands grandma was there a couple of years ago and everyone that dealt with it seemed really happy with it. They did not accept medicaid or they had a really long waiting list and we needed something right away.

Shelby Crossing is a wonderful assisted living community. The staff is exceptional. When you enter the facility, friendliness welcomes you. My mom, 98 years old, moved in 3 months ago and settled in within a short period of time. The staff made the transition pretty easy. My mom loves the musical entertainment that happens twice a week. The food is good, lots of variety. She’s able to get her hair washed and set each week in the salon. But most importantly onsite physical therapy is available 3 days a week. Recently mom had to be hospitalized and rehab was the next step in the healing process. Fortunately, Shelby Crossing has a rehab unit so we didn’t have to go far. This was a real asset. The family feels very secure with the care mom is receiving. A nurse is onsite 24/7. When mom had to be rushed to the hospital, the staff did an amazing job. At times there seems to be a shortage of caregivers, but most of the caregivers are well trained, compassionate and diligent. Also, Catholic Services are held twice monthly, instead of weekly. I highly recommend Shelby Crossing!

If your loved one’s mind is still semi-sharp, and it’s a temporary stay, this place is fine. The PT/OT is very good, the food is ok (ok is great in comparison to other places), and the staff is luke warm friendly enough. My mom can hit the red button all night long and make sure she gets the care she needs. Also, I’m in there every day pressing the flesh with aides, nurses, and admin staff. If: 1) my mom had serious cognitive issues; 2) It was a long term stay; 3) I wasn’t able to visit on almost a daily basis; I would look elsewhere.

The food service is very inconsistent. The cleaning is the same.

My mother stayed here. While they are very clean and MOST of the staff was very pleasant, I do have some concerns. It consistently took 20 minutes for a reply after pushing the call button. Also, my mother was given her heart medication an hour later than prescribed, leaving her feeling terrible. Lastly, when she felt very sick and called my brother to take her to the hospital, she was yelled at by the nurse practitioner. I'm sorry to say I'm not impressed with Oak Grove, [name removed].

I looked at Harrison's Crossings and talked to the director. It seemed like a fine place. However, the community is two stories, and I know that my loved one is not comfortable in an elevator or on stairs. As a result, this community would not have made a good fit for my loved one.

I toured at Cobblestone and I thought it looked like a pretty nice community. I talked to the director and got to see the facility a bit. It seemed to me like it would have been a good fit for my loved one.

The tour was good and the staff was nice. They answered all of my questions. The rooms were spacious, I just think that this community was really to big. It was 4 stories and just didn't think that was a good fit for mom.

This is a nicer facility and I personally saw nothing wrong with it. It’s really good place but unfortunately, all my mom saw when she walked in was a nursing home. The manager, Penny, was very friendly when she showed us around. The only drawback I saw with the community is that the hallways were really long and it would be harder for my mom to get around. I would recommend this community to other families.

I would say the food at this community is a ten. They offer a menu as well as daily options. The community is kept clean. They offer daily activities. The caregivers try to take good care of the residents, however they do not seem to have enough staff to give a lot of personalized care. They do not offer alarms in the chairs of the memory care residents in case they get up without anyone in the room with them. Overall it is a good community.

The community was clean and the people we met during our tour were nice. This community did seem to offer some nice amenities. This community felt a little more institutional than other communities we looked at.

The facility is great! It is very clean, the food is very good, and, for the most part, my loved one is receiving great care. My primary issue, however, is the fact that the nursing staff do not listen to the requests of the families or whoever has authority over medical decisions. There were a few instances where the nursing staff did not address me concerning serious issues with my loved one, which I found to be quite upsetting. Other than this issue, this seems to be a fine place.

When I toured the Triple Creed Community, it was my favorite of the bunch. I would not recommend it based on my experience. The staff was nice, though, and the tour guide was able to answer my questions and gave me good information.

This is a beautiful facility. She had a beautiful room. Some staff was very helpful others not so much . Asked for a bedpan was told you have a diaper on ,right?just go in it! Food- most meals were ice cold , few were like warm. Who likes cold food? Staff knew for a week when she was going home. Day of discharge all staff had been told all week she would be ready to leave at 8 am. The nurse that day said there are 20 patients ahead of your getting medication! Then I have to print your discharge papers and prepare 3 days of medications for you so you will not get out of here till 10:30… she was not friendly or nice!!! All patients should get hot food and be able to get foods they like. Most meals was the same thing every day She liked [name removed] ,and a few female nurses there were a couple aides also. And the maintenance man that put her rails on bed .sent a woman to try to make us happy and she informs us they were told she would be l1:00 am try asking the pt instead of listening to others

The facility is setup for care regardless of what level the resident requires. This can be a great benefit. Assisted, independent, nursing, rehab are all supported. Memory care is coming. The only downside is the independent living area is not as full function as some of the other facilities we visited. I believe this is due to the multiple levels of patient care available at Waunakee Manor. This might be a better choice for non-independent care individuals.
