It is an affordable option for many who are looking for a place for their loved ones. The staffing levels are not ideal but they are adequate. We picked this community mainly because of the cost.

It was sufficient for an early stage dementia patient but as they progressed the staff wasn't able to handle them. Didn't get showers as promised wasn't always fed correct diet. The hallways usually smelled bad.

The meals that are prepared are inedible and the activities are boring. It is expensive if the food is inedible The independent duplexes are very nice. So in that respect, it's a great place to live. But we pay so much and can't eat. I'd move if I found better food.

We were very happy initially but with staff turnover, things have gone downhill sharply. I would tell them to look elsewhere.

It started off great but no support once the placement is completed. Not very happy overall with them.

The biggest complaint is medications and the medical director has never returned any calls. I've given up on that. One of my loved one's meds is routinely out of stock with Gardian Pharmacy. She was without it for 8 days. I finally asked if it could be called in to Walgreens for me to pick up myself. The nurse is helpful. Room cleaning doesn't seem to be completely regular, but is satisfactory.

The overall facility felt really sad. I felt like I was in a nursing home, not a place for senior Independent Living. It would be good for some, but was not right for my parents.

hey are short staffed, turnover. Communication issues between pharmacy and nursing. When it comes to the meals, it is not the quality we expected. Mom walked in and now spends most all of her time in a wheelchair. There are very limited activities for the memory care side.

most people are friendly and helpful especailly the receptionist and activities director. The interior needs renovating (rug, furniture, paint). The location is good. Get a new dietitian. Many of her recipes need to be removed.

We picked this location, because it was close to me. They were engaging with memory care patients. I would not recommend. We had a lot of billing issues, and a constant change to all levels of management. Also a [removed]% increase within 1 year of being there.

It was not nearly as nice, didn't have the size I wanted (2 bedroom/2 baths), elevator made great noise and seemed unsafe, flooring in hallway and elevator was not well maintained. Knew at once it wasn't what I was looking for.

Great atmosphere at Traditions of Lebanon. Villa is spacious. Great staff. Poor meal choices. Menu very plain, and inconsistent in preparedness.

The tour guide was helpful I was not impressed with the staff, as it appeared to be agency staff.

The interaction with the staff is good, but sometimes they don't return phone calls. We picked this community, because it was newer and a smaller community. they can improve on improve on communication and returning calls. Also, housekeeping is not cleaning like they should. The activites and food is fine, it's just the communication.

The move in process was confusing and felt like I didn't know who from Brookdale I should rely on for help and didn't know what to expect. Also, receive a lot of calls at all hours of the day/night from staff to provide non critical updates on my dad. Wish they had a text messaging system or portal to view communication

This community was smaller and the pricing was more than we wanted as everything was a la carte. We saw residents parked in front of the TV by the staff during our tours. This is an older community as well, and there was musty smell to it. I didn't feel the staff were as engaged as we wanted and not much of an outdoor area for the residents.

Meadow Brook was a nice facility but admitted they had a shortage of staff issues. They were not going to be able to accommodate my loved ones over-night needs.

Traditions at North Bend was very similar to another place we toured. It felt more like they were doing business than anything else - as opposed to considering care for our loved one. The facility was glamorous and had all the bells and whistles, and there's nothing wrong with that if that's what you're looking for. But their businesslike demeanor was a turnoff for us.

We had a great tour experience with Five Star Residences of Lafayette. It is an older facility that is not as updated, just did not have the curb appeal we were looking for.

They had to hire more, housekeeping staff for cleaning. My loved one receives, alot of care but requires more help with getting dressed. They are often short staffed. There has been pretty good interation with staff. My loved one loves interacting, with other residents during meal. They also, have an onsite salon, in which they can get there hair done once per week.
